After graduating Dental School he joined a General Private Practice in Richmond Virginia as an Associate. He also became a Part Time Faculty member at the Medical College of Virginia instructing and educating in the departments of Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics Dentistry, and Dental Anatomy.

In 1990 Dr. Allegretti made the voluntary decision to join the United States Navy as a Commissioned Dental Officer to serve his country. He received advanced dental training and received two Navy Achievement Medals for his outstanding service. After five years of active military service Dr. Allegretti voluntary retired from the Navy with Honors and began his private practice in Springfield Virginia, a suburb of Washington DC.

His first private practice introduced cutting-edge dental technology. Dr Allegretti was one of the first practices in the area to invest in Digital X-ray and Digital Panoramic Technology. This was Cutting edge back in 1995. Dr. Allegretti and his Virginia Dental Team also received a Readers Choice Award from the Northern Virginia Living Magazine as one of Northern Virginias best Dental Practices.

Over the past three decades, Dr Allegretti has advanced his education on cutting edge dental treatments and services. His training consists of all aspects of dentistry including Invisalign Orthodontics, Implantology, CEREC Robotic Computerized Crown Fabrication, Facial Esthetics (Botox and Dermal Fillers) , Migraine Pain Relief, Sedation Dentistry, and Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry.

In 2008, Dr. Allegretti decided to relocate back to New England to spend time with his Parents. After two years of living full time in Provincetown, he decided to create Provincetown Dental Arts and bring the successful formula of Excellence, Technology, and Quality to the Cape Cod area.

Continuously striving and working toward being an outstanding Dental Practice is extremely important to Dr. Allegretti and his Dental Team. They attend an average of 125 hours of Continuing Education Courses per year and take great pride in staying current with the latest dental techniques and technology.

Additionally, Dr. Allegretti and his Dental Team have over 150 years of combined expertise between them and are currently members of the Cape Cod Dental Society, The Massachusetts Dental Society, The American Dental Society, The Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The International Congress of Oral Implantologists, The American Academy of Facial Esthetics, The Registered Dental Hygienist Society, and the Certified Dental Assisting Society.

In August 2008, Dr. Allegretti was awarded a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. This prestigious award was achieved by completing 450 hours of continuing education in the study of implants while also completing a number of implant placement and restored cases.

As an active proponent of the Arts, Sports, and Health, Dr. Allegretti proudly supports local Arts, Theatre Groups, Artists, and various sport programs in the community. He enjoys running, cycling, Physical Fitness, the various Arts, and Travel.

Michelle is a member of the National Association of Professional Woman and the National Association of Dental Office Managers.

Michelle is originally from the Midwest, having grown up in a small town in Indiana. When not in the office she enjoys spending time with her grown sons, daughter in laws, daughter, amazing grandson and her dog. Michelle now resides in Brewster where you might find her at a week end running event. If not, she will be hiking, golfing, enjoying extended family in Indiana, laughing with friends or enjoying New England Sporting events.

April is the chaired dental assistant, coordinator of dental instruments, oversees operations on the computer dental radiography, and dental equipment specialist. She spends a great deal of her day working side-by-side with Dr. Allegretti and the dental patients. She has been in the dental field for over 31 years and her extensive experience helps the patients to feel comfortable while in her care. Her bubbly and positive personality makes her a great asset to our team.

April lives in North Truro with her husband Timmy. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her two grown sons and two grandchildren. She also enjoys photography, scrapbooking, gardening, fishing and enjoying the company of good friends.

Karen began her dental career in Lake Tahoe, California, and brings 24 years of dental knowledge with her. She went back to school and graduated from Cape Cod Community Colleges Dental Hygiene program in 2003. Karen is a member of both Phi Theta Kappa and Sigma Phi Alpha National Honor Societies.

Karen provides her patients with quality dental care and prides herself on being an advocate of patient education. She strives for optimal dental health for patients. While not working; she and her husband Jim enjoy their time outdoors; jogging, mountain biking, windsurfing and gardening.
