Dr. Siri Chanthasalo was born in Laos and moved to Illinois at a very young age. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences at Northern Illinois University in 1997 and went on to the University Of Illinois College Of Dentistry and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2002. From there she chose Elgins beautiful far west side to open her practice because of her ties to the community. She and her husband have two children, with family and friends that reside in the area. She also enjoys the diversity that the town offers. As the area grows, Dr. Chanthasalo wants to grow a family dental practice that she and her community can be proud of.

Been coming here for years for my twice a year cleaning. Very clean facility. The staffs are always friendly. Dr Siri and her team of dental assistants do an amazing job.They are very thorough. They really care about your teeth and takes their time with you and never rushed. Highly recommend this dental!

I've just had my fourth teeth cleaning and can vouch that Dr. Siri and her assistants are just as attentive, effective, and thorough yet gentle as ever. My first visit at Providence was after ten years of not seeing any dentist, and I was SO nervous - but they were patient and cleaned out a decade of buildup. I still don't have the best habits but they take care of my cleaning quickly and painlessly! As for this visit during covid-19, the assistants did a phone screening, door opening and sanitation, and everyone was nearly double-masked; the whole experience felt very safe.

I have been going to this place for many years. The sweetest staff you'll ever encounter! I've never had to wait past my appointment time to be seen, sometimes I am even see early! The office is a nice and clean space to be in and gives off a family friendly atmosphere. Also, the staff is there to make sure your feeling comfortable and have everything you may need to make your visit run smoothly. I happen to live about an hour away and the drive is worth every minute to me. I have never had a bad experience coming here!

I've been here 10 years for my 4 times a year cleaning. The staffs are wonderful and Dr Siri took her time answering all my questions and give best recommendations. High recommended if you looking for a dentist.

Our family (my husband and sons) has been seeing Dr. Siri Chanthasalo for almost 10 years. We love how thorough and gentle she is. Even when we started taking my older son ( now 4) when he was 2, she was very patient with him and he did very well and was not afraid to go back ever since. The staff are all friendly and very professional. She truly cares about your overall being and has your best interest at heart. I would recommend Providence Family dental to anyone who needs a great dentist!
