Howwe are different Our philosophy is to spend time listening to the needs of our patients so that we can understand and address your concerns first. We desire that all of our patients would aspire to optimum oral health, but we realize that it may take some people longer than others to reach that point, and we are committed to maintain your teeth until that time comes.
Dr. Makowski graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Biology. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Special Care Dentistry Association and the Greenville Dental Society. He has attended courses regarding cosmetic dentistry and occlusion at the Dawson Center in St. Petersburg, Florida, and he has recently completed the course necessary to become an Invisalign provider.
Stacey has been a member of the Providence Dental team for four and a half years. She enjoys reading, crafts and body combat, and along with her husband of nineteen years is the proud parent to two childrenaged fourteen and twelve.
Desiree has been a member of the Providence Dental team for eleven years. She is an avid Clemson fan and loves to travel, and along with her husband of sixteen and a half years is the proud parent to two childrenaged twelve and ten.
Jen has been a member of the Providence Dental team for four years. She enjoys hot yoga and running, and along with her husband of ten years is the proud parent to three childrenaged twenty-two, seventeen and twelve.

Dr. Makowski was excellent and does a very thorough exam. I feel like he definitely took his time to really examine my teeth and any issues. His staff was very friendly and helpful with appointments, insurance questions, and any other questions. We felt very welcome:) I would definitely recommend this practice to family and friends!

Dr. Makowski is a great human being, who just so happens to be a great dentist too. Been going to this guy for over 10 years-- always an uncommonly good experience. And his staff is right up there with him. We need more doctors (and humans) like the fine people at Providence.
