Prior to completing a dual major residency program in prosthodontics and implant dentistry at Loma Linda University, she practiced as a general dentist for a decade. Extending her education and experience in the dual fields of prosthodontics and implant surgery has deepened her passion for changing the lives of our patients with beautiful, lasting smiles and optimal oral health. Dr. Garbacea expertly combines biology, esthetics and functionality together to generate the best outcome, and remains dedicated to giving you the smile of your dreams.

She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. She completed a Dual Major Residency Program in Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda University. She obtained a Master of Science in Dentistry degree from the same university. She is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, a Member of American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, and a member of American and California Dental Associations. Dr. Garbacea received her DDS degree from University of Medicine and Pharmacy, School of Dentistry in Romania. Currently she is a faculty member in the Restorative Department in Loma Linda University and has published scientific articles in dental journals and chapters in books related to prosthodontics and implant dentistry. Dr Garbaceas private practice is limited to prosthodontics, implant dentistry and management of complex patient situations.
Dr. Xuan Yue is a maxillofacial prosthodontist. She received her bachelors degree in bioengineering from UCLA. After completing her undergraduate career, she decided to combine her passion and her strength and follow the family tradition of becoming a dentist.
Dr. Yue received her dental degree from UCLA and went through a one-year general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. She felt the urge to further advance her knowledge and skills and completed a three-year Advanced Prosthodontics specialty training at her alma mater UCLA. She then completed a fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Oral Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas where she was trained to treat and restore patients who have gone through cancer treatment.
Dr. Yue strives to provide the best treatment for her patients. She stays up-to-date with current dental developments and new technology by attending continuing education courses. Dr. Yue is fellow of American College of Prosthodontics, a fellow of American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics. She also serves as a part time faculty at UCLA School of Dentistry.
Dr. Kang is a Board-Certified Prosthodontist and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. He completed his DMD degree and his Prosthodontics Residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. For over 25 years, he has provided high-quality, personalized patient care in simple to advanced Prosthodontics, Esthetic Dentistry and Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Kang is currently a Professor at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Before moving to the West Coast, he was a Professor and Director of the Prosthodontics Residency Program and the Digital Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry Fellowship Program at Tufts University.
Dr. Kang has contributed to numerous scientific and clinical publications in the fields of Prosthodontics, Implant Dentistry and Digital Dentistry. He has served on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Prosthodontics and was Co-Editor for the digital editions of ACP Study Guide for Board Certification in Prosthodontics.
Dr. Gabriel is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontists and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. As a graduate from the distinguished Advanced Prosthodontics Program at the University of Illinois, Chicago, he trained under top leaders in Prosthodontics, including Dr. Clark Stanford and Dr. Lyndon F. Cooper. Dr. Gabriel has presented his research at the Academy of Osseointegration 2020 Annual Meeting and is looking forward to lecturing at the Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics 2022 Scientific Session.
Prior to pursuing the Prosthodontic specialty, Dr. Gabriel graduated from University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine and subsequently practiced for three years in the Las Vegas, NV area.
Hailing from Anaheim, California, Dr. Gabriel attended Servite High School and completed his bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. Following his education, Dr. Gabriel returned home to the beautiful weather and beaches of Southern California. He currently resides in Costa Mesa and enjoys spending time with his family and friends, working on cars, cooking, and traveling in his spare time.
Patients report that Dr. Gabriel is a good listener, thoughtful, understanding, and helpful. His friendliness, insight, and self-reflection are strengths that have served Dr. Gabriel throughout his career.
Lindsey received her bachelors of science in Dental hygiene from Loma Linda University. During her years of study, she conducted research correlating taste ability and food preferences to the development of tooth decay. Trained and mentored by a leading cariologist, she is a wealth of knowledge regarding the management of tooth decay using nutritional guidelines and medicaments that can slow or even arrest the disease. She has over 6 years of experience working beside endodontists, periodontists, general and cosmetic dentists- giving her the expertise to better assist patients in understanding and treating their dental conditions. She is certified to administer local anesthesia, nitrous sedation, perform soft tissue curettage, scaling and root planing, place local antibiotics and use a laser to remove bacteria from gum tissue. Lindsey participates in several hygiene study clubs to keep her up to date on the latest information concerning oral health. She is thorough but gentle, and will do her best to make you comfortable and better equipped to improve your teeth and gums.

I was having trouble with my old dentist (76 years) that fitted a crown too high and despite me suffering for months he just would not/could not help me. So I decided to switch for a more professional and higher skilled dentist. I would like to thank Dr. Antoanela Garbacea for her expert work on my crown bite adjustment and for being so kind, patient and understanding. In all my years I have never had such a professional, painless and highly credentialed dental expert. All of the team are so polite, intelligent, caring and full of class, a welcome change. I will return to get all my dental work from now on! If you are in OC/SoCAL I believe they are the best dental practice around. In addition the dental office is extremely clean. Thank you sincerely! Dr.Garbacea was so nice and helpful! It was my first time going to a different dentist after years of going with my same dentist but her office was so kind. The place was very clean, they really know what they're talking about and takes personal interest into consideration. Will be back for sure!

My husband was a previous patient of Dr. Bickert and was referred by a very trusted implant doctor for the cap portion of my husband's implant. I can't believe they charged us for an estimate. For a very unprofessional appointment with no xray taken,10 minutes long and no written estimate. Not even being told there would be a charge. Surprise $75! Never again.

Dr. Garbacea is the most caring and attentive Dentist I've ever had. The Dr. is gentle, informative, and considerate in terms of her treatment. The value of the procedure only is exceeded the level of service. The Dr. walked me through the procedure before, during, and after on the outcomes and the treatment letter I received in the mail included multiple options to address my concerns. If you are serious about having a real specialist (Prosthodontist) who is board certified correct your smile get a consultation from Dr. Garbacea.

Dr. Garbacea is incredible, caring and efficient in her caring of her patients. In my corporate world I have lived in eight states and have visited so many different dentists, oral surgeons and prosthodontist professionals. Simply stated... IF I would have met Dr. Garbacea sooner I would have had more a more healthy mouth!
