My grandfather once told me it was the friends you make in life that really count, and I couldnt agree more. Everyone has a story to tell, and you can learn so much from everyone you meet. I consider my patients to be my friends, and each relationship I form with them builds on the person I am.

Dentistry has given me the chance to effect and improve peoples lives in so many ways. Not only am I able to improve peoples health by removing disease and restoring their ability to eat, but also improving their self-confidence and ability to communicate with others. A persons smile says a lot about them, and I take pride knowing Im a part of helping to maintain that.

Ive also always hated the stereotype that going to the dentist is a painful and miserable experienceit doesnt have to be! I like showing my patients that getting their dental work done can be an enjoyable and painless process. I take pride in debunking that stereotype one patient at a time!

I feel the experience Ive gained with my diverse background of practice and training, help me to be a well-rounded provider. I am able to take these experiences and skills, and develop the optimal treatment plan for my patients. It is important to be a lifetime student in any profession, participation in continuing education allows for this. I always strive to learn about new techniques, materials, and equipment to build on my educational foundation. This allows me to deliver the highest standard of care and best treatment for my patients.

I was born and raised in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, so I was used to living in a big-city atmosphere. I moved to Prosper in July of 2014 when I purchased the practice, and love everything about it. Its a smaller community, so it gives me the opportunity to get to know my patients and their families a lot better. I get such a kick out of seeing them out and about around town.

My life wouldnt be complete without my wonderful wife and two beautiful boys. I met Jennifer while completing my residency in 2004, and we were married in 2006. She is also from Illinois, so its great to have our family all live in the same place. She is a dental hygienist, so its nice to have a spouse who understands your work on a first hand basis. Our oldest son Vince was born in January of 2011, and our youngest Max in January of 2014. They are always on the move, and keep us on our toes! But coming home and playing with them at the end of the day is the best way to unwind from work! We have one cat that our son named Poppy Cat.

When Im not at work, I enjoy being home spending time with my family. Our boys are growing up so fast, and I enjoy being involved in every part of their activities and lives. I enjoy exercising; running and cycling are among my favorite ways to stay active. I also love sports, and enjoy watching my favorite Chicago franchises the Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks, and Bulls. I am passionate about my fantasy football and baseball teams, they are fun ways to keep in close contact with my friends I grew up and went to school with. I love all types of music, 80s music being among my favorites. I also enjoy going to the movies, when my wife and I are blessed with an occasional date night.

I believe its important to serve and be active in the community in which you live to help it to be the best environment for your family and others. I am a member of the Prosper Chamber of Commerce and Lions Club. I enjoy going into the schools to talk with kids about their teeth during Dental Health month, and routinely make appearances in my older son Vinces class in February. My wife and I are involved in serving in the Childrens Ministry at our church, Fellowship Churchas well.

Dr. Chandler completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1996. He earned a scholarship from the Army to attend the Case School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2001.

Dr. Chandler was commissioned as a Captain, and served as Dentist for the 75th Ranger Regiment at Ft. Benning, Georgia, where he completed his active duty commitment. This gave him the opportunity to work with people from all different backgrounds and walks of life, as well as serve his country.

Following his military commitment, Dr. Chandler furthered his training and experience by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Baylor College of Dentistry. This program allowed him to refine and enhance the skills hed developed to that point, as well as learn advanced techniques and procedures to handle complex cases.

In 2005, Dr. Chandler received his Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry. He continues to keep current with technology and materials through yearly continuing education courses, working toward his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Orthodontics is my passion because I have, over the 20 years of serving patients, seen the way a smile can change the way a person feels about themselves and how the showing of a smile can change the mood of others. As the saying goes, Smile and the world smiles with you.

When I started in the profession of dentistry, I believed that I was being led to serve people and give a gift of oral health. As the years have passed, I have realized that a gift that I believed I would be giving to patients, has been a gift of receiving with friendships, laughs, mission work, and just an overall happiness of providing a gift that I was given. I hope to develop many more friendships and provided many more smiles in the years to come.

I have lived and worked in this wonderful town of Prosper while serving the great patients of the surrounding North Texas cities for more than 20 years, and I have to say that it has been and continues to be a joy and honor to do so.

I grew up as a Texas boy in South Texas in a small town called Aransas Pass. The small town feel is what brought me to Prosper ten years ago, and even though the citys growth has been substantial, I still feel that it has retained its original charm. I have enjoyed every minute of living here: the town, the school district, the sports teams, and of course the people.

My family consist first and foremost as Father God who is my Lord, Savior, and guide. My wife, Charity, of 25 years is my earthly rock who has loved and supported me. We have been blessed with two boys, Brandon and Jordan, who have been blessings for Charity and me to raise, teach, and even learn from.

During our time in Prosper, we as a practice and as my own family have tried to give back when able. We have been blessed with many opportunities to work at food banks, support the local police department, sponsor many high school sports and theater, and teach oral healthcare at local elementary schools. On a larger scale, we have also gone on mission trips to provide dental care in Mexico and Belize, providing fluoride and oral hygiene instructions and food amongst the poorest of these areas.

Dr. Gilson attended the University of Texas Dental School in Houston, graduating with his dental degree in 1995. He served in the US Armed Forces of the Navy for more than three years before moving into private practice, first in Coppell and then in Prosper.

Dr. Gilson performed all aspects of dentistry for approximately 20 years and completed continuing education in all the different procedures associated with general dentistry. However, he found a passion in orthodontics for both children and adults approximately 14 years ago. Since then, most, if not all of his continued education has been focused on providing orthodonticsso much so that he has since limited his practice to orthodontics and to making beautiful smiles.

I grew up working with my family in my fathers pediatric dental practice in Richardson. As a hygienist, I have enjoyed over 20years in pediatric dentistry, hospital dentistry with Childrens Medical Center Dallas, non-profit as well as, private practice. I have had the privilege to care for patients from 6 months old to 102 years old.

I have been married to my husband, Brad for over 30years. We have 2 children, and 3granddaughters. I enjoy gardening, cooking, and travel. Our favorites so far, have been Alaska and Israel. Brad and I are enjoying a new hobby raising Longhorn cattle.

I am thrilled to be a part of Prosper Dentistry and Orthodontics. I will join a team that is kind and respectful to each other, as well as, their patients. A gentle, caring touch is what I hope to add to the practice with each patient I serve.

Coming from a family of dentists, orthodontist and hygienists I knew I wanted to be in the dental field from a young age. I graduated from Oklahoma University with a Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene (BOOMER SOONER!) as one of the top five in my class. Im excited to be a part of the Prosper Dentistry & Orthodontics team and I look forward to meeting you!

I married my high school sweetheart, Tyler Moore, in June of 2013. We moved from the Austin area to Prosper for his job as a football coach at Prosper High School. We are the proud parents of a handsome two-year oldboy and a six-year-old golden retriever. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, watching OU and A&M football, doing outdoor activities, volunteering, and working out! I also enjoy spending Friday nights with the coaches wives cheering on our husbands and the Prosper Eagles!

I've been in Texas for over 20 years but I am a born and raised Jersey Girl. My husband and I have a blended family of three daughters, one son and a granddaughter. Outstide of this wonderful office I love spending time with family and friends. When not with family and friends my favorite place to be is the zoo, especially watching the gorillas. The top of my bucket list is a trip to Africa.

I have more than 20 years of experience in the dental field as an RDA. I enjoy all aspects of assisting and meeting the needs of each and every patient. Its a great pleasure to see them healthy and smiling as they leave our office.

I have been married to my wife Tammie for over 30 years, and we have three sons. All of my boys are married, having blessed me with two grandsons, twogranddaughters, and another grandchild due soon. My hobbies include spending as much time as possible with my family, running, bicycling, weightlifting, and watching all sports.

As an outgoing and caring Registered Dental Assistant, I am beyond excited to be part of the Prosper Dentistry and Orthodontics team! The best part of dentistry is getting to meet and form relationships with my patients while helping them to improve their overall health. I have a true passion for making people smile and brightening my patients' days.

Originally, I am from Baton Rouge, LA (Geaux Tigers!) but growing up I had the opportunity to live in seven different states. I came to Texas following my high school graduation in 2015. Already having family here, the choice to move felt like coming home. In May 2019 I was blessed to marry my wonderful husband, Reed. We look forward to a lifetime of happiness together! Outside of dentistry, I enjoy bonfires/ cookouts with family, listening to true crime podcastsm and various DIY projects. I am thankful to God everyday for this wonderful life He has given me.
