Dr. McGuire is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, but his parents relocated to Phoenix in 1988, before it became a sprawling metroplex. He attended Brophy College Prep and ventured out to Los Angeles for his undergraduate studies, which he completed at Loyola Marymount University. There he majored in biology and knew early on he would attend dental school.
After completing his bachelors program, he was accepted into Marquette University School of Dentistry, where he earned his DDS in 2007. He then went on to complete an orthodontics residency at Marquette in 2009. Before returning to the Phoenix Valley, he practiced in Dallas, Texas, for two years. Now he is back in the desert and has built ProSmiles from the ground up to provide unmatched professional orthodontic services to the Goodyear area.
Outside of the office, Dr. McGuire loves interacting with his patients, and enjoys watching them grow up, finish school, get new jobs, and live their lives. Going through ups and downs with a patient reminds him that before they were patients, they were just people looking to fix a problem. And he feels lucky and honored to be able to provide a solution.
Dr. McGuire was first introduced to dentistry when he attended a career fair in his youth. He walked up and down aisles noticing that these professionals didnt seem to have any fire in their belly for what they were doing. Eventually, he came across a young gentleman standing alone at his booth. Intrigued, he decided to talk to him and quickly learned this man was a dentist.
The doctor spoke with great excitement about all his profession had to offer. You could be your own boss, have a comfortable work-life balance, make a great living, and help people in a way that could truly impact their lives. With all these benefits, supported by the passion this dentist exuded for his job, Dr. McGuire was drawn to the possibilities and quickly fell in love with the world of dentistry.

Dr. Jesse and his entire team are amazing. The ladies that work in the front are always so friendly. They greet everyone by name when you walk in! It is no different for Dr. Jesse. He always came over just to say hello. He always made sure I knew what was going. My son's treatment was a long one, but we are so happy with his results. His teeth look amazing. It was well worth the journey to go to ProSmiles.

Highly Recommend ProSmiles! My young child was super nervous & scared to get her braces on, but as soon as we walked into the office everyone was friendly, welcoming, very helpful & educational. It made the entire process so smooth. You guys are awesome! Keep up the good work!

I absolutely love this place. Dr Maguire fixed my smile and my bite where no other could have done it like him. Great atmosphere and always so friendly. I'd give 10 stars, if it were an option.

This is his new office but he has a very bad reputation from other offices. You will never be able to resolve any issues with him when they occur. And tgey will occur.

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the services. The level of service is superb! The atmosphere reminds me of my parents kitchen on thanksgiving, nice music plays as we sing an hum while cooking a gourmet meal for loved ones. The office has a beautiful warmth that is inviting the moment you walk into the door. The staff is a reflection of the wonderful extraordinary leader Dr. McGuire. This office is out of my insurance network but the price is reasonable and is worth it. I look forward to every monthly visit!

I had a great experience getting braces from prosmiles . Good vibes as soon as you walk in the door. The office is pretty trendy and up to times. They always have good music playing and candles lit. The staff is very friendly. The front desk were always able to accommodate my schedule and get me in right away. I never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen. The were always on time getting me back and taken care of. I only had my braces on for a little over a year and my smile looks great. They typically have awesome deals to help with the cost unlike other offices. I highly recommend this place!
