Dr. Prose attended Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He then moved to Chicago to pursue his dental training at Northwestern University Dental School, graduating in 1985. He continued his education at Northwestern University School of Graduate Dentistry to specialize in orthodontics, receiving his Masters Degree in 1987.
Dr. Prose is involved and has held offices in several professional and community organizations. For three years, he was honored to serve on the Board of Trustees for the Illinois State Dental Society.
Dr Prose lives in St Charles with his wife, Dena. His oldest son Evan, lives in San Francisco and youngest son, Nicholas lives in New York City. As a family, when they are all together they enjoy sports, food, and traveling!

My daughter was only 7 years old when she came in for her initial consultation with Dr. Prose. She had been referred to Dr. Prose after her dentist had to extract 4 of her baby teeth. She was extremely nervous during that first visit, but Dr. Prose entered the room with a friendly smile and immediately made her feel comfortable about whole process of getting braces put on. Dr. Prose took the time to explain everything to her and answer any questions she had. The entire staff is very kind and always willing to answer any questions or concerns that have come up over the past 6 months. Every person in the office has been wonderful during each and every appointment, whether we are there for an adjustment or to fix a dreaded broken bracket. The improvement in her smile that we have seen in just the first few months has been incredible. We can't wait to see the end result!

I have had invisilign in the past with a different dentist and I unfortunately had a poor habit of not using my retainer, therefore I ended up with my teeth reverting back to how they were prior to invisilign. I decided this time around to seek out an orthodontist and found Dr. Prose to be highly recommended. I went to a consultation and ,honestly, it was a bit of a sticker shock when I received the estimate ( my previous invisilign treatment with a different dentist was significantly less) but, everyone kept telling me he is a perfectionist and it will be worth it. I'm now just a couple of weeks away from finishing up with my invisilign trays and I am beyond thrilled with the results. My results are so much better than what I previously experienced elsewhere! Straight, no gaps, and a much better bite! His staff is warm, knowledgeable and friendly too! And the office is clean and well located with plenty of parking! I would certainly recommend Dr. Prose if you are considering invisilign treatment!

Three kids in braces and no dental insurance. It's a scary thought, but Dr. Prose is a true professional; efficient and reasonable. The team at Prose made things easy and were always accommodating to our busy schedules. I actually cried when it was all over, it was an end of an era. Thank you for perfect smiles, confidence and overall support through the years!

Hands down the best Orthodontist experience I have ever had. This was for my 9 year old. I myself had braces as a child and it was miserable experience. I know orthodontics have come a long way since then, however Dr. Prose and his staff were amazing and welcoming. Don't believe me ? Make that appointment and be ready to be impressed. Thank you.

Loving my new smile and all of the Prose Orthodontics team. From the very start, you are made to feel like family and they would go the extra mile for you, and they do. Dr. Prose, his office team, and assistants did a great job staying in touch during the COVID shutdown, made sure I was able to keep up with my aligners and continued to follow my progress through virtual visits. Once I moved, they negotiated with a local practitioner to take scans and accommodated both my son an myself for our visits when we could visit. I can share enough of the amazing treatment my whole family received from, Dr. Prose, Melanie, Linda, Pauline and everyone at the St Charles office.

So happy we found Prose Orthodontics after we moved to St.Charles. Not only is it convenient, the employees are the Best! Our oldest daughter just finished Invisalign, and her smile is gorgeous. Our other daughter just started her journey with braces, and they've made us so confident in their care. Dr. Prose and Pauline are so thorough with information about treatment. With two more kids that will need braces, I'm glad this is where they'll get their smiles!

I want to start out by saying how friendly the staff was from the very first phone call! As a person in a similar industry, customer service is one of those things I pay close attention to. Once I got to the office I was impressed with how efficiently they run their office! Everyone their had a specific responsibility and it was executed to perfection in my opinion! Everything was explained to me in detail, and I knew exactly what was needed before I walked out the door! I would absolutely recommend that if you or a family member need orthodontic treatment, Dr. Prose and his team are who you need to go to!
