Dr. Ben, co-founder of Promenade Dentistry, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Physiological Science. Anatomy, physiology and all sciences have been his passion since he was in high school. This passion, coupled with a love for drawing and painting, was a perfect base for a successful career in cosmetic dentistry. He continued his education at the University of Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry (UOP) in San Francisco. This is the only three-year dental school (usually four) in all of North America.
Dr. Ben has taken multiple residences and continued education coursed in order to provide to all his patients needs under one roof. Dr.Ben has been recognized as one of Americas Top Dentists by Consumers Research Council of America every year since 2007. He has a Diplomate degree in Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Ben along with Dr. Shawn Javid (his brother and partner) are one of very few Holistic Dentists in the Los Angeles area and the only Holistic Dentists in the Santa Clarita Valley. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the international Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS), the San Fernando Valley County Dental Society (SFVDS), the American Sleep and Breathing Academy (ASBA), and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM).
Dr. Shawn, co-founder of Promenade Dentistry, completed his undergraduate studies at California State University Northridge (CSUN), where he received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biological Sciences. He graduated from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry (UOP) in San Francisco. After graduating from UOP, Dr. Shawn continued his education with a one-year residency program, focusing on cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery, his two favorite disciplines. Dr. Shawn has taken numerous courses and internships to further his education and stay current with the latest technologies and developments since graduating from dental school with honors in 1995. Some of these include:'State Of The Art Esthetics', 'Occlusion in Clinical Practice,' 'Adult Oral Sedation' (Sedation Dentistry), 'The Art Of Endodontics,' 'Surgical & Prosthetic Curriculum in Oral Implantology,' 'Beyond Osseointegration, Immediate Load' (Implantology), and 'Invisalign Certification.' Dr. Javid is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the California State Dental Association, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, the Holistic Dental Association, the Internet Dental Alliance, and the San Fernando Valley County Dental Society (SFVDS).

I live a very pure holistic lifestyle and until walking into this office, dental care has been challenging. There's an overall great energy to this office, zen like music and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I'm actually excited to get the dental work I need done.

Excellent care! Excellent Staff and Doctors!! Reliable and comfortable care, you drift off into a restful sleep while your Doctor's restore your mouth health and leave you with a lovely smile! I had a dental emergency and they fit me right in the next day!! I Promenade Dentistry!

Best dental experience thus far. The moment I walked in I was greeted by Grace and Sandra. We chit chatted and talked about the day and our plans for the weekend. Those ladies definitely make any anxiety/fear you have of Dentistry disappeared. I was called in by my hygienist soon after my arrival. Lions was amazing! The best cleaning I've ever had. She was very thorough and explained everything she was going to do. In-between, we spoke about family and kids. I felt extremely comfortable talking about my oral hygiene and habits.After Liona was done with my cleaning, Nessa came in to do x-rays and polish. I'm a gagger. With her, nothing. She is amazing and fast! Everyone in this office is absolutely amazing. You can definitely tell everyone enjoys working at this office. Dr. Ben and Dr. Shawn really know how to pick an incredible staff and their work is phenomenal. They love what they do and it shows. I'm never going anywhere else.

I wasn't told that they didn't accept my insurance coverage until after they set up my chart, took copies of my ins. cards and took my xrays. I think the front ofc should be informed of what they do & do not accept.Also I spoke to one of the dentists on Friday & he led me to believe they did accept it. On top of that, I was in extreme pain.

There's really not much to say.I whent in expecting some kind of help for my teeth.But when they knew I had no insurance there was nothing they could do. So I tell Ben the dentist I have 3 grand on me.Can you give me a bridge for my 2 missing front teeth and maybe whiten the bottoms so I can at least smile. So he tells me to go to a dental school. It's all about green.There not concerned if you haven't smiled in years, or even have any teeth.

Highly recommend this dental office. State of the art. All staff have been working for a long time here. Friendly to all different people. It is hard sometime when you need a service dog and feeling comfortable. This whole entire staff never have made me or my service dog Kaya feel any different. I'm going back 3rd time next week. I'm so grateful too all of you. Dr Ben. Front desk Grace,Sandra,Lynda and Dawn. Dr Soares and Gaby for making my surgery comfortable and painless also Kaya feeling safe and comfortable.
