Promenade Dental Care opened around the same time as the Promenade II building was first erected. Dr. Hendricks began Promenade Dental and created a 27 year tradition of fine dental care provided in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. He was followed by Dr. Jim Gorman, a graduate of Emory University who carried the tradition forward, modernizing the practice. Now the honor belongs to Dr. Lehman Harris, who has owned and operated Promenade Dental Care since March 2010 and intends on extending the tradition of progress.
After graduating from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, Dr. Harris moved to Philadelphia, PA to fine-tune his bedside manner and clinical expertise. Here he developed his core principals of dentistry, which are personal respect for all patients and expertise in clinical techniques.
While in Philadelphia, Dr. Harris completed the implant focused Albert Einstein Medical Center Dental Residency to ensure his technical skills were proficient and efficient to provide a top tier service. After studying and practicing such an intense procedure as implants he found a deeper appreciation for preventative maintenance. This experience drives his belief that the future of dentistry involves patients having their teeth cleaned more frequently to prevent later problems.
Dr. Harris then moved to New York to put his skills to the test and earned a license from the University of the State of New York, only to bring it all back home to Atlanta, GA. Once home, he continued to find success with Coast Dental and All Smiles Atlanta, and eventually Promenade Dental Care.
Today, Dr. Harris practices comfortable, health-centered dentistry in Midtown Atlanta with a strong emphasis on relationship building and getting to know each patient. You will experience him as an intentional listener who demonstrates warmth and compassion for your healthcare. After listening to you first, you will find him equipped to provide a thoughtful and considerate dental treatment plan that best fits your needs.
Jessica Stephens has been a dental hygienist with Promenade Dental Care since 2013. In 2010, she graduated cum laude from Clayton State University with a Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society and a recipient of the Daughters of American Revolution medal. Her passion for dentistry radiates from her personality, and it shows through with every patient she sees. Jessica is a Georgia native, so she provides that small town hospitality in the big city. She strives to make every patient feel comfortable and always puts the patient as her top priority.
Outside the office, Jessica enjoys life in quaint Meansville in Pike County with her husband, Kaleb and their two dogs, Eli and Annie. Her other passion includes various physical activities, including numerous races each year for charities and is also a Bootcamp trainer.

Dr. Harris was extremely informative. The staff is like family very warm, bubbly and welcoming. I am definitely excited about my dental health journey with the practice and staff. Deveda was also amazing my teeth fell AMAZING after her thorough cleaning.

The entire times has immaculate bedside manners and always makes a visit like seeing an old friend. All, and all, highly recommend!

I am so pleased with my recent dental visit. My hygienist is so thoughtful, considerate, efficient and thorough with the dental cleaning. You can tell she has a very very high standard, so meticulous. I completely trust Dr. Harris's high standard of care, skills, respect for patients. So kind and professional. The best combination.

Dr. Harris and his staff are true professionals and always prompt with service! I've never waited more than 10 minutes past my appointment time which is extremely important to me. The up-to-date messaging is amazing! I appreciate Dr. Harris' thoroughness and attention to details. He always provides options and he respects 'my' decision on how to address an issue I may have. He and his staff is a gem!!
