I dreaded going to the dentist until I walked into ProHealth dental. It was the best decision I made. Dr. Valauri & Dr. Karnofsky are exceptional in their field of periodontics, Implant surgery & prosthodontist. Their professionalism to their patients makes it effortless for the patient. The receptionists are courteous and accommodating. You will not find a better dental office than ProHealth for all your dental needs.

I took my then- 12 year old daughter for a consult with Dr. Valauri after being displeased, disgruntled or disregarded by other prosthodontists. My daughter has hypodontia (congenitally missing teeth) and we needed a prothosdontist who could collaborate with her orthodontist on the most effective treatment plan to give her a functional and aesthetically pleasing smile. Dr. V is patient, skilled and very nice! My daughter is now 14 and she has a beautiful and fully functioning smile. We couldn't be happier with Dr. V or his staff.

Very disappointed lately with the service. I have gotten my appointments cancelled a few times not my fault and specifically need a Saturday appointment. When I go to reschedule they try to give me a 6-7 month appointment. Front desk receptionists do not try to help and accommodate you at all. If I didn't cancel the appointment I expect the business to do there best to give a sooner rather than later makeup appointment. My kids go to the pediatric dentist and she is great but for me and my wife we will be looking for another dentist office for our needs.

I've been a patient of Prohealth Dental since 9-2019. My first visit with them was for a second opinion of a prior situation with another dentist. The staff, dental hygenist, periodontist, and Prosthodontist where all amazing. All the doctor's were straight forward with feedback and suggestions and the best thing is that they work as a team. They communicated with each other every step of the way. If it wasn't for all if them i definitely wouldn't have had great results today. I've also seen Dr Ziotis the Orthodontist during this crazy process to also have my teeth straightened as that was one of my biggest concern and I will say today I have graduated from this whole lenghty process but it was all worth it. Dr Z takes pictures of your mouth through out the whole process so you do get to see your progress. Dr Z is an amazing Orthodontist. She cares for your teeth like if they were hers. She caring, patient and thorough as well as explaines in detail what's going on with your mouth every step of the process. LOL, I will say that I will miss her the most.

Front desk very unprofessional. Asked to have recent x rays sent to new dentist. Filled out release form and fax would not go through. Drove 40 miles to personally hand it to receptionist. Claims they never got. Very frustrated!

I've been receiving expert dental care at this office for over 10 years.Dr. Seid is great.He is personable and caring,making sure you're comfortable and pain free. He communicates well,explaining the best treatment plan for your issue. I've had some complicated problems but he's always found the solution. I've had root canals,crowns,gum treatments and implants all with wonderful results. James the office manager is friendly and goes over the costs for your care. He helped me with an insurance problem and got my implants covered in full. You're in good hands with Frank,the hygienist.His super gentle cleaning leaves your teeth feeling like new. I highly recommend this office for all their expertise!

I absolutely love Dr Z, Lena and Clarissa! They have taken such great care of me, they always have a smile and they are always so personable. Who would have thought that I would actually look forward to going to the orthodontist!!!

Changed few dentist from queens to long island, and we finally found right one for our 7 and 10 year old kids. Dr.Chung is amazing with kids and most important work she did was great. Highly recommending this dentist.

Pro Health Dental is EXTRAORDINARY!!! Excellent oral health care is difficult to find. Tina , makes my regular dental cleaning a joy!! She is so thorough, meticulous, and thoughtful. Tina makes your visit feel as though she has a personal investment in your oral health. Dr. Ziotis for my ortho work, is quite frankly a genius. Her precise calculations for the best outcome of enduring the invisalign process has allowed me to witness her as a master in the field. Lina, her assistant, is an equal reflection of a high standard of excellence. What makes the overall experience phenomenal is not only the expertise, but in addition, the kind hearted, genuinely caring individuals, each of these women truly are!!

Only person I like there is dr. Chun the pediatric dentist. The receptionist is rude, particular the one who does not wear a mask. It's not about the mask it's her attitude when answering all my Questions. The billing is all over the place I get slapped with outstanding balances months after with no explanation. My dentist is eh, cancels half of her appointments and bedside manner leave more to be desired. I asked for X-rays of my kids and that particular rude receptionist said I had to come in and get it. I called and another receptionist helped me to fill out forms via email and she said she'll email me the forms.

I had an appt for 11 am on Saturday (3/26). I waited for 15-20 mins and finally went up to the desk and said I have to be somewhere at 1 pm (it takes me 25 mins just to walk to this office). I told the receptionist I needed to leave and would have to reschedule another time. on my walk back, Dr. Shah (the dentist) calls me and apologized and said that she had an emergency with another patient. I told her I understood that emergencies come up, but someone could have come out and told me and given me an option of waiting or rescheduling. How long would I have been waiting? I decided to switch dentists. Actually, I do not like the corporate feel of this practice, it it not very personal. Also, of the 4-5 visits I have had there, the actual dentist simply drops by the room to check the hygenist work on me.

A big thank you to the entire staff at Prohealth Dental Implant Center in Lake Success! I can't say enough about how smoothly my total smile replacement procedure in it's entirety went. From beginning to end the doctors and staff went out of their way to ensure my comfort!! Dr. Valauri and Eric both have such a soft touch. They made a difficult situation nice and easy. I love my new smile!! Dr Karnofsky and his team made sure I was completely comfortable throughout! They even gave me ice cream for lunch! Robin called me for days after to check up on me (I've made a new buddy). I'm so glad I listened to Shari the hygienist (my friend) to give Prohealth a shot! Now I'm a customer for life!!

Dr. Neil Karnofsky is a great periodontics surgeon. He has interest of his patient above all, and goes extra mile in consideration for a sound medical decision. From my own experience, Dr. Karnofsky opted for a more laborious approach of treatment and periodontics surgery in order to save patients' teeth, rather than going for an easier (and more profitable approach for him) of extracting teeth and then doing several implants. Dr. K., as he is often called by his staff, is a solid professional that I would definitely recommend. He may be perceived as not being very communicative, which is probably true to some extent, rather than other dentists, but if you're a looking for an experienced professional in periodontics that will have you best interest in mind, and not lots of chit chat and explanation, and ready to trust him - you'll be satisfied. Rozy, his medical assistant and his other members of the team, will do all the communication and care for you and answer all your questions. His crew is great as well!

I had 10 front teeth pulled, 2 implants placed and had absolutely no pain. There was a bit of discomfort but for the work I had done, it is amazing that I felt no pain post-surgery. Dr Karnofsky, Dr Holzmann and the entire staff in Lake Success were phenomenal from start to finish. I tell everyone about my experience and would 100% recommend this office for all your dental needs. They are very attentive and care about you. If you haven't done so yet, give them a try!

I'm giving a 3 star rating. My rating is not based upon the dentist or the dental crew that work there. They are all great and fine and fantastic!! My biggest concern and issue is the front desk staff. We get it you are busy. Covid is happening. Calm down. Take a chill. Speak to humans like the way you would want to be spoken to. I'm from Long Island and I can handle the snippy attitude. Quick to cut off folks over the phone is not the way to go especially when I'm calling with a question. You work front desk. Please listen to the patients when calling. I understand your patience with people might go through the roof sometimes but you work a front desk at a medical office. It's your job. Please be nicer and have more respect for the people calling in. The Huntington location is not like this at all. Just be polite.
