No one enjoys dental work, but if you've landed in Dr. Pick's chair consider yourself lucky. I had gone to two other places for consultations and was not comfortable at all with moving forward at either. This left me extremely anxious but fortunately, as soon as I met Dr. Pick he instantly made me feel comfortable and confident in his ability to treat me. His entire team is amazing. I've had encounters with Annie, Nina, Gosia, Sonja and Vanessa. They are kind, gentle and you can just feel the mutual respect everyone has for each other there. Dr. Pick is an incredible leader, extremely qualified, and I would, and have, recommended him to anyone needing any treatment he offers. This is the first review I've ever given online but I felt it necessary to share with as many people as possible. If you find yourself at this office, you will not need to look any further. He also referred me to my new dentist, Dr. Van Dyke, who I adore and praise him even more for making the match. Again, dental work is never fun but it makes a world of difference when you are in the right hands. Thank you Dr. Pick! I would rate him and his team 10 stars if I could.

Before meeting with Dr Pick I made appointments for 3 implant firms and I was unhappy with all of them. I had a cracked tooth that needed to be pulled and replaced with an implant. My dentist recommended I make another appointment with Dr Pick. Upon visiting his office, I noticed on his wall that he is considered one of the top specialists in implants & periodontics, year after year. Dr Pick and his assistant Gosha made me feel at ease. He examined all of my teeth, including the cracked tooth, and had a plan to fix it. He was the first to see 2 infections that were overlooked by my previous so-called specialists. The procedure was easy & pain free. They made me feel comfortable, and I knew if there were any issues, Dr Pick knows how to correct it and make it right. Dr Pick analyzes the problems and tries to save your teeth, without necessarily extracting them. Other dentists love to pull teeth and do unnecessary procedures. I would highly recommend Dr Pick and his team for a job well done.

Dr Pick and this entire team have set a high bar for superior customer service, high quality standards, professionalism and endless kindness and compassion. I, like many others, hesitated to get my problem evaluated. Dr Pick from the moment we met made me feel genuinely cared for and he repeatedly assured me his goal was to get the problem resolved and to take the proper steps to get it done right. He not only delivered on his promise, he made me a Dr Pick fan for life! During your procedure, Dr Pick takes the time to make sure you are comfortable throughout the entire process. He is very attuned, makes sure you are the priority and gives you the level of feedback during the procedure that you prefer. From the music choice, the positioning in the chair, pain sedation, to the detailed explanation when the procedure is complete. By far the BEST experience I have ever had at a dentist office. You can tell by your pre-procedure consultation that Dr Pick loves and lives for what he does. What blew me away was a follow up personalized video from Dr Pick and his team to check on me the very next day. It was truly thoughtful and showed true concern for my well being. That was not the end. A few days before my follow up appointment, Dr Pick called me personally to check on me, offer his personal contact numbers and answer any questions. Mind blowing! I would recommend Dr Pick and his team to anyone! You can't go wrong with this practice and you will not regret it. Five stars is not enough! M McCue

Dr. Pick and his staff are incredibly skilled and caring. Dr. Pick carried out two gum-graft surgeries for me over 15 years ago. Before each surgery, he gave me clear information about what my choices were and why the surgery was recommended. I have moved twice since those surgeries, but I keep driving back to Dr. Pick's office for ongoing periodontal check-ups. Dental hygienist Vanessa is remarkably thorough and gentle. I have very sensitive teeth and gums, and her cleaning techniques are pain free. I don't know how she does it! Everyone is caring and professional.

Five Star period. Have had two implant surgeries. Both were the first completely pain free dental procedures I have ever had. I always thought a little pain was part of the process. Anyhow, super professional staff treat you like royalty. And Dr Pick will give you whatever level of detail you want during your procedure. I chose verbose and enjoyed the play by play. Frequent follow up and 24 hr availability if you are worried. My mother-in law and I are both patients and we could not imagine going any place else for major dental work!

Dr. Robert M. Pick and his team have provided the best care that I could ever have imagined. I needed expertise periodontics help starting a few years ago, and Dr. Pick has more than fulfilled all expectations. He and his staff are truly "the professionals."

From the moment you walk in Dr. Pick's office till you walk out, it's a 5 star office. The staff is very professional and the services are impeccable. They treat you like family. I drive 1.5 hours each way to this office for my appointments. With this 5 star team, I literally love going to see Dr. Pick and the staff for my services.

I have been a patient of Dr. Pick for many years. Recently I had a surgical procedure that I had been reluctant to address. After all, who wants a molar extracted before Thanksgiving! Dr. Pick and his surgical team are amazing. Filled with doubt about the necessity for this procedure, he was supportive and considerate of my feelings. Through out the process Dr. Pick offered guidance, description and pain mediation in only the manner within the capacity of a very experienced and caring physician. This is reflected in the people he choses to work in his office and surgery. The climate is one of great compassion and knowledge of the field. Dr. Pick works with exquisite skill, using kindness and a wonderful sense of humor to alleviate anxiety. The day after the procedure, he texted me a video communication featuring himself and his surgical team, regarding my well being, recovery, cautions for continued care and insistence that I could call 24/7 with any related issues. I've saved the video as a reminder of what great follow through look like! It also made me laugh. I do not believe there is a better periodontist. I can recommend Dr. Pick and his team with out any reservations.

My experience with Dr Pick and his team had been exceptional! I was concerned about needing to have a failed implant (from a different dentist) removed and a new one put in by Dr Pick. The day of the implant I had no pain at all. I never took the pain medicine given. It has been 3 months and I have had no difficulties at all. I have appreciated the professional and personal touch from Gocia and Sonja, Dr Pick's assistants throughout the process. Thank you All! Cynthia Kaczmarski

If you're looking for a place for oral surgery, dental implants or any type of oral medicine, you can stop searching. You found it. This place does amazing work with state-of-the-art technology and the friendliest team of experts you'll ever meet in this field. I was referred to Dr. Pick for some gum grafting by my dentist...well that sounded scary! But I'm so glad they suggested this place! The moment I walked in I felt at ease with the whole staff. Everything was explained in the consultation with total professionalism. Gosia and Dr. Pick made me feel very comfortable during my surgery. Dr. Pick has this amazing way to make you feel relaxed, unworried from the beginning to the end-always explaining what's going on through the whole procedure. I totally recommend Dr. Pick, Gosia and the whole staff for your dental work. A+ !!!

I recently had a minor ( nothing is minor when it is you!) surgical procedure done by Dr. Pick and his amazing team at Progressive Periodontics & Implants. Dr. Pick is very knowledgeable and used the laser technique to excise my fibroma. He thoroughly explained everything before and during the procedure. The excision went smoothly, was pain-free and I had an excellent post-op course. I applaud Dr. Pick's high standard of oral healthcare. Without a doubt, Dr. Pick and his team are the BEST! I would definitely recommend Dr. Pick.

A few weeks ago, I fractured my jaw. However what wasn't known at that time, was that I also fractured a tooth. About one week ago, I developed a tooth ache that quickly escalated to some of the worst pain of my life. Dr. Pick and this team saw me right away and I had the tooth extracted. As soon as I arrived at the office, Gosia and Sonja were by my side the whole time, helping to make me as comfortable as possible. Dr. Pick came in right away and was so kind and reassuring to me and explained to me exactly what was going to happen. I felt as if I was in the best hands possible. I also have the implant appointment coming up in a few months, and I don't have a worry in my mind that the surgery won't go smoothly. Dr. Pick and this team were amazing and I truly can't say enough good things about them!

This man is simply a genius. Both times that I have required oral surgery, the experience was as smooth as can be. Dr. Pick and his entire staff are not only exceptionally talented, they TRULY care about their patients and the health of their teeth and gums. You are in THE MOST CAPABLE HANDS with Progressive Periodontics. Seriously --- I'm thinking of making t-shirts! :) Thank you for your expertise, Dr. Pick, and for always making me feel incredibly comfortable throughout the surgical process! I would highly recommend Progressive Periodontist and Dr. Pick and staff for any specialty service for gum disease or implant service. He is so very kind, gentle and thorough I can't believe it. His staff is everything you expect and more. He explains everything that goes on and fears just melt away. He is still a professor at Northwestern, co author of two books, and a really nice guy. I will never, ever go to another periodontist.

Dr. Pick is the best Dentist that I have ever visited for dental services. Dr. Pick and his team sincerely care about their patients and provide outstanding services. My dentist discovered a deep pocket in my gums during a regular cleaning and explained I would need to see a periodontist to have a look - I am so grateful he referred me to Dr. Pick and his team! I was so nervous and to be honest, almost didn't even make the appointment. However, even from the first interaction on the phone making the appointment I began to relax as they were so kind and caring. After looking at my situation and giving an exam, Dr. Pick took the time to explain everything and I felt so assured I was no longer super nervous. They made sure I always knew what to expect. In this office, you are made to feel truly cared about and treated with kindness and respect at every turn and from every team member. Dr. Pick is professional, ethical and very skilled in what he does. I want to shout from the rooftops to let everyone know how great they are! This is a very special place. Thank you!
