Dr. Janice Kaeley, a periodontist, is committed to providing the highest level of care with compassion and understanding for every patient. Dr. Kaeley is delighted to provide the most current periodontal procedures to the community of Turlock, CA. From the moment you meet her, Dr. Kaeleys passion for dentistry is evident. She takes the time necessary to educate her patients and help each patient find the right path of treatment for them based on all relevant clinical findings.
After graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, Dr. Kaeley decided to explore the world and attended the University of Melbourne, School of Dentistry in Australia to earn her Bachelor of Dental Science. During her studies at the University of Melbourne, Dr. Kaeley developed a strong interest in periodontics and dental implants. Upon graduating from dental school in Australia, Dr. Kaeley was accepted at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery and was elected to the prestigious dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, as well as Phi Kappa Phi. While at USC, Dr. Kaeleys interest in periodontics and dental implants was solidified. Immediately after graduation, Dr. Kaeley moved to Indianapolis, Indiana to pursue specialty training in Periodontics and Implantology at Indiana University. Here at IU, Dr. Kaeley not only earned a Masters Degree in Dental Science but she also obtained a minor in Oral Pathology.
A periodontist is a dentist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infections of the gum tissue and bone, perform bone regenerative procedures to restore lost bone and gum support, perform procedures to treat gum recession, correctly place dental implants and so much more. Periodontists are also experts in the treatment of oral inflammation. Periodontists receive extensive training in these areas during 3 additional years of education beyond dental school. They are familiar with the latest techniques for diagnosing and treating periodontal disease and are also trained in performing various cosmetic periodontal procedures.
