Dr. Marc Gordon obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Hofstra University graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Gordon went on to Tufts School of Dental Medicine graduating Magna Cum Laude. He completed a two year specialty program in Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
To ease patient care, Dr. Gordon obtained Certification for Oral Sedation. Dr. Gordon was one of the first 100 NJ dentists to obtain this certification to allow safe and effective administration of drugs to reduce patient anxiety in a comfortable atmosphere.
Dr. Gordon is the Chief of Periodontal Services at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, New Jersey. For the last 20 years, he has donated his time with lectures and clinical teaching at the dental residency program at Monmouth Medical Center. In addition, he lectures to other dental professionals in the area of Periodontics and Implant dentistry.

I had remarkable periodontal gum restoration provided by Dr Mark G in 1995. I just had a small excellent restoration completed this year . He is still an outstanding periodontist !

Not only is Dr Marc Gordon an exceptionally knowledgeable, skillful and professional Periodontist, he is also kind and caring. His awesome sense of humor and gentle touch immediately put me at ease enabling me to release my fear of future periodontal work. And his staff are amazing. They are always friendly, polite and also helped in reducing my stress. I will recommend Dr Marc Gordon to anyone who needs periodontal work!! Such a positive experience!!

I've had several procedures performed by Dr. Gordon. Dental implants and 2 skin grafts. When I first came to Dr.Gordon my dental health was awful. I had teeth falling out due to gum disease. After one year my dental health was improving and is now excellent. It has been a life changing experience for me. It was a real challenge for any doctor to repair my issues. It took a talented periodontist to get me where I am today. My visits to his office are now just routine cleaning and maintenance. I am grateful to Dr. Gordon and his efficient staff for their work. One indicator of a good doctor, beyond his skill, is a well run office. Dr. Gordon fills the bill in all respects.

Years ago (maybe around 2001) I was referred to Dr. Gordon when I needed gum work done. Since then I have continued seeing him for my dental needs. I've been more than happy with his abilities to keep my smile. The staff are great too and make me feel very welcomed. If you are looking for a Periodontist or you need to have an Implant done, I would highly recommend Dr. Marc Gordon.

If you are as unfortunate as me to require gum surgery and /or need an implant, you must go to Dr. Marc Gordon! He is extremely knowledgeable, caring and best of all has a great sense of humor. His office staff is the best! They are all welcoming, friendly and always helpful.

Dr. Mac Gordon is the BEST. My experience with the Dr.Gordon and staffs have been . I was stressing out seeing a Periodontist at first. Boy was I wrong. Dr. Gordon with his gentle voice ease my stress. His gentle touch to my gum didn't hurt either. His staffs was so much fun. It is hard to find a good periodontist. If anyone have to see a Periodontist Dr. Mac Gordon is the doctor to see.

Dr. Gordon is one of the top doctors I've been to period. Intelligent, calm and patient-first. Something really hard to find these days. He gave me options for my care so I could be part of making the decision as opposed to him trying to sell me a service or not care about my concerns. Would totally recommend!

I had implants with Dr Gordon 2 years ago. I am extremely happy about his perfectionist and professionalism. He is also very patient with me as I have small mouth, and need more work comparing to others. I highly recommend Dr. Gordon!
