Dr. Steven Chybowski grew up here in Oak Creek and is a graduate of Oak Creek High School. He receivedhis undergraduate degree atMarquette University and subsequently completed his dental doctorate at Marquette in 1997. Dr. Chybowski went on to study at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and is currently Adjunct Clinical Instructor at CHW, one of the leading hospitals in the United States for children's care.
Dr. Chybowski is the current president of the Wisconsin Society of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Wisconsin Dental Association. He has apart-time faculty position at CHW and alsomaintains hospital privileges therefor patients that require hospital care. He holds a certification in PALS or pediatric emergency care and has taken many continuing education programs in the field of dentistry and pedodontics.
Each year Dr. Chybowski is happy toprovidedental screeningsfor children in the Head Start program in Milwaukee. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, reading, running and relaxing with his two dogs.
Dr. Elissa (Ellie) McRae graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2005. She served 3 years as a dental officer in the United States Navy. Her first year in the Navy was spent in a hospital-based residency program in Portsmouth, VA where she received extensive trauma and surgical training. Her last two years in the Navy were spent in Twentynine Palms, CA where she practiced general dentistry and oral surgery to help prepare Marines for deployment. Ellie then returned to Marquette University for her residency in orthodontics. She graduated in May 2010 with a Master of Science and certificate in orthodontics. Ellie was born and raised in Stevens Point, WI. She is married to William McRae, a Captain in the United States Marine Corp Reserve and a native of Seattle, WA. They have two sons, Devin, who was born in 2007 and Liam born in 2012. They are all huge Marquette mens basketball fans. Her other hobbies include travel, reading, scuba diving, tennis, softball, and sand volleyball when time permits; but mostly spending time with her family. Ellie has been with Progressive Pediatric Dentists since 2010 and loves her job transforming smiles.

Staff is always very friendly. Scheduling is never an issue. They're always flexible and find a time that works. The hygienists are so kind and patient with the kids. Dr. Steve is amazing too! He's always there to reassure families and keep ahead of things before they become an issue.

Our experiences at this office have been excellent. From flexible scheduling, gentle hygienists, friendly staff, to top notch dental care, we have been extremely pleased. Highly recommend Dr. Steve and his office for your child's dental care.

The staff at Progressive Pediatric's are all awesome! They are always so positive and are so good at making the kiddos feel comfortable. Dr Steve is great too! We highly recommend.

So accommodating to families, and so friendly and warm - my kids actually look forward to going to the dentist. Scheduling is a breeze, waiting room is clean and pleasant. We love Progressive Pediatric.

I don't want to share all of the details or my grievances on here, but we would not recommend Progressive pediatric dentistry. They are very nice but we had to seek out another dentist after my son has a very traumatic experience with them. We then found out much of the work that was done had to be fixed/redone.

Went here yesterday with my 11, 6, and 2 year old. My wife has been going here for a while with my older step-sons. This was the first time our youngest had been here. Our older sons were brought right in and checked out with ease. Our 6 year old that usually is scared of dentists and has had issues getting checkups before jumped right up and the hygienists were super patient with him and he did amazing. Our two year old was the one that made this office shine though, the hygienist went through each tool one by one with him, let him see them all, talked to him like a big boy, let him feel each of the tools and goofed with him a bit. He was completely comfortable by the time they started and he was able to sit through the whole thing without flinching. When the dentist came out he was just as great with him and made it go wonderfully. If you have kids, I recommend this place completely.

Depends who you get as a dental assistant or hygienist. God forbid you run 5-10 minutes late or they might not see you and get completely rude about it. Yes I'm sorry, I was late. I also had to convince my autistic child it was ok to come to the dentist. Receptionist just walked away from me mid conversation. The dentist is great however. Won't return though.
