Dr. Lee is a fantastic doctor and surgeon. I had a more difficult, non-routine wisdom tooth extracted today and he did a beautiful job. He explained all my surgical options before this point- went over the x-rays and CT scan, and made sure I had all the information necessary to make the best decision.

Called to make an appt using a discount plan. The lady on the phone was so rude, kept on giving misinformation. I gave up. Why would I give you my money when you can't even talk professionally to your patients

I had needed an extraction for almost six months, but was super nervous and wanted to find an office that offered sedation. Not too many oral surgeons with good reviews accept my Metroplus/Healthplex insurance. I finally chose this office, and I am so glad I did! I was booked for about three weeks from when I called, the insurance filing was all taken care of by their staff, my extraction site has healed without any complications, and with the sedation I was not at all anxious during the procedure. If you've been putting off necessary oral surgery like I was, just book it!

Had a great and quick wisdom teeth removal experience here after being referred by my primary dentist. I had made an appointment weeks ahead since they seemed booked for quite some time. The person who called to remind me of my appointment also told me an estimate of the minimum and maximum out-of-pocket cost with my insurance which was very helpful. The whole process from start to finish for my appointment was about 1 hour. Their office is on the 3rd floor and you can open the door (without knocking-the building interior looks a little like an apartment complex so I had expected someone to open the door for a hot minute). After checking in, I filled out some sheets of paperwork as a first time patient and sat at their waiting area. The waiting area has some social distanced seating (~4-5 chairs) and while small, seemed clean and cozy for a dental place. Dr. Gene Pezzollo was the doctor who removed my wisdoms. I had intended on removing all 4, but he had mentioned that one of my teeth was close to a nerve and explained it by noting it in my xray. He suggested to leave it if it didn't bother me because there were certain bigger risks involved with removing it. I was thankful for his advice and took it. Overall the rest of the staff who prepped me as was as Dr. Gene Pezzollo were great in making sure the surgery was as painless as it could be (they thankfully checked multiple times). After the surgery, I was given a sheet of instructions and extra gauze. I would highly suggest you take the rest of the day to rest. Also, make sure to come to your appointment on time!

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! Horrible wait times. Made me wait 2 hours hoping for a wisdom teeth removal just for them to tell me i need to pay $200 for a different X-ray all the way in Long Island because they don't know how my wisdom teeth are positioned which was ridiculous! They could've told me this right when i took a simple X-ray with them but made me wait another 30 minutes for Dr. Rodney Rastegar to tell me. I definitely suggest you go somewhere else, or at least don't schedule an appointment with Dr.Rastegar, he hates his job and wants you to spend your money rather than taking care of you! I went to a different oral surgeon and he was able to tell me the positioning of my wisdom teeth from the same X-ray i took here, and i was able to get my wisdom teeth removed with him. Overall i hated my experience at progressive oral surgery.

I am beyond happy that I trusted Progressive Oral Surgery to take care of my wisdom teeth today. The process was thoroughly explained by Dr. James Pezzollo, he answered all of my questions and made sure I was comfortable through the process. The doctor explained everything what he was doing step by step and what I would feel so I wouldn't be alarmed. Amazing staff! 10/10! You'll be in excellent hands.

I don't understand the bad reviews. Over the phone the lady was extremely nice and informative. She informed me about how much my deductible and co-payment would be. The day before my appointment I received a courtesy call as a reminder. When I went to get my tooth extracted it was a simple process that happened so fast. I was scared for the worst but I was treated nicely and it reay helped me with whatever fears I created for myself. The dentist can be a scary place but I feel comfortable coming back here. I am greatful for Dr. John Lee, the receptionist and the assistant for everything.

Dr. Agrawal was my Progressive Oral Surgeon. Given the recommendation of Dr. Chung from Dent Care Dental. I was a little stress, because I was going for an implant procedure. He set me at ease immediately and throughout the procedure. I am very grateful to for their friendly atmosphere and help.

The staffs are not competent. Waiting time is 5 hours. The staff don't tell you anything just have the customers wait. When I asked them, they are impolite and rude. They failed in proper communications. Ver very incompetent. Frustrating, and very depressing experience for me and my daughter.

This is my 3rd tooth pulled with dr Gene Pezzollo. Truly an amazing experience, the fact that after such a stressful procedure expectations I leave office happy and relieved is a true definition of an outstanding oral surgery. They have offices all over town and a team of very skilled dentists, look no further!

Unless you want your appointment canceled DO NOT GO HERE. They just canceled my appointment less than a month in advance when I had already made the appointment over a month in advance to get my wisdom teeth out. They said they were no longer accepting my insurance starting this month. I asked them how come they didn't tell me sooner and they said they didn't know till now. How are they not finding out till now??? That's ridiculous and extremely irresponsible for them not to tell the patients sooner.

This is the best place to go for dental extraction . I went there with a dentist referral ,and i was amazed of everything. I didn't feel anything when dr Eugene Pezzollo removed my wisdom tooth , i didn't pay anything when i was there , they sent just the copay bill at home of 15$ and the insurance covered all . If you can choose this dentist you'll never regret!

Don't go! I have never seen a more incompetent staff. Always late, always have some office issue, always something. But don't worry you can reschedule for 2 months later. If you don't mind waiting hours pass your appointment time this is the place for you.

Got 2 impacted wisdom teeth removed. All medical assistants and the surgeon were very kind, very helpful regarding insurance, and performed the surgery very optimally and with precision. Most importantly, there were absolutely no issues receiving post-op medication after the surgery; the prescriptions arrived and were ready within an hour after the operation. Would definitely recommend.

Had my oral surgery here in August. Initially I was scared after hearing all the things that could go wrong during a wisdom tooth extraction but am really glad of the results 4 weeks in.

Excellent service and experience. I went in for a tooth extraction and although that's never a pleasant visit, the doctor was so nice and gentle! A few days later I started bleeding and had to go in as an emergency visit they took me in right away and treated my complication!

I was trying to book an appointment for an extraction from my general doctors office and they won't pick up the call. The line was not busy nor did it go to voicemail and it was different each time I called. Whoever was supposed to be picking up the calls deliberately hung up on me multiple times and I find that offensive. You could simply say you're busy or put me on hold nice customer service.
