Dr. McCoy graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry and began his professional career in Morton, PA. ADelaware County resident for most of his life, Dr. McCoy graduated from Chichester High School and completed his undergraduate degree at Widener University. Prior to shifting careers, Dr. McCoy was employed by Warner Lambert Pharmaceutical Company for four years.
Dr. McCoy has been practicing general dentistry for 40 years and practices many specialties under one roof. Five years ago, Dr. McCoy became interested in the new frontierof dental sleep medicine, attending two to three continuing education courses per year. Dr. McCoy recently achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, the highest honor a dentist can achieve in that organization.Hes also a Doctor-in-Training to become a Holistic Mouth Doctor.
Dr. McCoy enjoys learning and welcomes the high-tech environment encompassing modern dentistry today. Dr. McCoy is diversified in his professional expertise and enjoys providing comprehensive dental care for his patients.
I joined this fantastic team in July of 2004. I received my Bachelors Degree from Bloomsburg University in 1995 and earned my Associates of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2004. It has been an amazing journey of growth for me personally and professionally. I still have the same enthusiasm as I did day one! I have built wonderful relationships with Dr. McCoy, his family, our team and our dental family of patients. My goal is to provide exceptional care, educate and help patients keep their teeth for a lifetime.
In my free time, I enjoy watching the occasional binge show on Netflix with my husband, spending time creating new meals and you can say I am a fitness fanatic. I recently started teaching PiYo fitness class and hope to line up some more in the future. The one thing my husband and I love is trail bike riding and always looking to find a new rails-to-trails adventure.
I have been at Progressive Dentistry since 1991. In 1989 I received a Bachelors Degree in Communications from Temple University. It has been an awesome journey so far. I love watching the practice change through the years. I am truly blessed to work in an environment that welcomes growth, encourages learning and is so team oriented. My team members rock!
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, Doug. We purchased a home together in 2017 which we enjoy making it our own with additions and remodeling. We are also both avid animal lovers with dogs, cats, bunnies, chickens and fish at our home. Between the two of us we have 3 sons. My oldest is in college at Penn State Brandywine Campus. My youngest is at Garnet Valley HS. Dougs son attends at Penns Grove Middle School.

I've been entrusting my dental healthcare to Dr McCoy & his professional staff for 38 years. Never had an unpleasant experience. Today's visit was for routine hygiene & Andrea is the best. Dr Mccoy is so helpful in giving me options on what there is out there to help me with my sleep apnea. I think I would be in a bad place in life if it wasn't for him helping me with my breathing. Thank you so much dr McCoy for all you do

As usual unbelievable!! Excellent precise professional dental care. I would recommend Dr McCoy and his staff in a heartbeat. Or even better a New York minute! After meticulous reconstruction of a damaged tooth I was even able to play the piano after the procedure. Of course, I couldn't play the piano before the procedure! Dr. Smolen

My first visit was an emergency visit!!!! Called to make an appointment and they worked me in within an hour! Caring, professional staff that seemed to have a good time working together. I scheduled my 6 month check up before leaving the office!!!

I had my first appointment with Dr McCoy today. It was a good experience. Eva was very friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. And that's not easy for me at the dentist and with the virus. Dr McCoy was very attentive and concerned about my dental issues, offering advice, as well as solutions and a lot of information. He spent a good amount of time with me which is not the norm in many doctors'offices these days. I will definitely be returning to Progressive Dentistry.
