Dr. Brown, his wife Dawn, and their three children live in Mitchellville, Maryland. Dr. Brown completed his graduate program at Maryland University. After receiving his D.D.S. in 1993, he completed a one-year residency program at St. Elizabeth's Hospital and went on to private practice. Dr. Brown is a licensed dentist in the state of Maryland and is an active member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Southern Maryland Dental Society,National Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and the CEREC Study Club. Dr. Brown is also a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologist.
Dr. Brown has a vested interest in his community and participates in numerous community health fairs. He also speaks at local schools on the importance of good dental health and provides complimentary toothprints for all children of his practice. In his leisure time, Dr. Brown enjoys playing golf, watching basketball and watching the Redskins play football.
Dr. Brown is a wonderful dentist who has been praised by his peers, as well as his patients, for his excellent clinical and communication skills. He is truly a caring and compassionate dentist. Dr. Brown and his staff are dedicated to providing five star care and service. 'They treat patients like welcome guests.'
Lana Weeks is a devoted wife oftwenty-five years and a mother of two beautiful girls. Lana received her Bachelors of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University in 1989. Mrs. Weeks has been practicing dental hygiene in Maryland fortwenty-five plus years. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienist Association and the Southern Maryland Hygiene Association.

I love coming to your office. From reception, cleaning and follow up with Dr. Brown. Very friendly, professional and the best part - PICK YOUR OWN MUSIC!! I came in as a new patient for a check up and a cleaning. Staff was friendly and COVID conscious. Dr. Brown was very thorough in his exam.

It's always a pleasure to see good people and friendly faces. They consistently give professional and efficient service. Layla listened to my issues and was very gentle and patient with me. Dr. Brown came in afterwards to check on me and to make sure I was taken care of (which I was). I felt like my mouth had a day at the spa. Can't wait to come back.

Anyone who has visited Dr. Brown before, already knows that he and his staff are true professionals. However, during these times, he has taken his care for his patients to another level with safety protocols they've implemented. And, they still provide the same level of professionalism and courtesy we've become accustomed to.

I had another exceptional visit with Dr Brown & the team at Progressive Dental. From reception to checkout, everyone was friendly and professional, having me in & out quickly. I love that I never have to wait more than a couple of minutes for my appointment to begin. Too many businesses don't seem to value the time of their customers, often making you wait for unreasonable durations before being seen, but that's not the case at PDS. Great job all around!! I give them my highest possible endorsement.

The staff is pleasant and my services were quick and thorough. Seemingly no unnecessary work, suggesting more reasonable options initially. My only critical feedback is I wish they offered a brush head instead of a toothbrush considering the type of brush the patient uses. Instead, a regular toothbrush is given.

This was my first visit to Dr. Wayman Jay Brown's office. The staff were so professional and top notch. In this day and age it is so hard to find such expertise knowledge, friendly & organized staff and a state of the art facility all wrapped up in one. While going to the dentist is not one of my favorite activities, my visit to Dr. Brown's office was exactly that and a great experience! If you are looking for an extremely highly qualified dentist who has a cutting edge practice or If you are just searching for a pleasant dental experience that provides a beautiful facility, awesome staff and an overall great dental experience, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Wayman Jay Bowman!
