Dr. Ayesha Downs received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India and is licensed with the Dental board of Minnesota. She has owned a private dental practice in India since 2000. During that time, she has put a smile on many faces known globally and many international travelers who have visited India for her services. Respected for her sincere and superlative treatment, Dr. Downs is still missed by her old patients. She has been covered by Cosmopolitan India and Times of India in the most Impressionable Women of Today in 2002.
Dr. Downs chose this career because she feels a dentist is a unique combination of a surgeon and an artist. She enjoys replacing and reforming the tooth to its ideal form. Dr. Downs believes Nothing is more gratifying than a beautiful signature smile leaving your clinic. She relates to each patient and offers them what she would want her family to have for dental care. Dr. Downs specializes in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry,American Academy of facial aesthetics, Minnesota Dental Association and a Fellow of the California Implant Institute. She is active with various study clubs and the Salvation Army clinic and is a Lifetime member of the Worldwide Whos Who List.
In her free time, Dr. Downs enjoys landscape painting, traveling, hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. She was ranked 1st in All India Womens Car Rally in 2001 and has modeled for various commercials and movies.
Dr. Linden is a graduate from the New York University College of Dentistry in 2017. Upon graduation, Dr. Linden his General Practice Residency at NYU Langone Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where he received advanced education in oral surgery.
Dr. Linden is an experienced dentist providing general, restorative, cosmetic, oral surgery, implants, and orthodontics including Invisalign to patients of all ages. Dr. Linden is married to his wife Stephanie, and they have one daughter, Brooklyn, and two dogs, Stella and Tess. Dr. Linden and his wife consider themselves foodies and movie buffs as they enjoy trying all the new restaurants in the Twin Cities and catching the newest movie at the theaters. They also enjoy spending time on Lake Minnetonka and watching the Minnesota sports teams disappoint them year after year, SKOL Vikes!
Graduating from Normandale Community College in 2006 with an A.S. in Dental Hygiene, Cyndi began one of her best career decisions. She was the proud recipient of the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler award in which the instructors choose the top student with outstanding academic and clinical accomplishments. Cyndi also holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Mankato State University.
Cyndi has a passion for dental hygiene which is demonstrated by the relationships she has developed with the patients, providing comprehensive care, and her attention to detail. One of her missions is educating patients on how oral health directly impacts ones overall health. Cyndi enjoys our friendly, relaxed atmosphere that encourages open communication between patients and staff.
She loves gardening, cooking, traveling and leisurely relaxing in front of the television. Her advice as a dental assistant to her family is - You dont have to floss all your teeth, just the ones you want to keep.
Nikki is a hygienist here at Progressive Dental. She joined our team in June 2013. Nikki has a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She loves helping her community with their oral health and enjoys participating in community and world volunteer dental opportunities. She prides herself in giving each patient specialized care and advice and loves being a part of their health and dental care. Nikki spends her free time relaxing with her husband Matt, family and friends, traveling, and with her Aussie pup, Charlotte.
Selena has come to us from the beautiful town of Wabasha that resides on the banks of the Mississippi River. She graduated high school from Wabasha-Kellogg in 2014. She has now lived in Shakopee with her husband for almost two years. Selena is highly immersed in her Spanish culture, and she is extremely fluent in the Spanish language. She joined our staff because of her love to help people and bring smiles to their faces. Her lovely smile is one of the first you will see when you walk through our doors. She looks forward to greeting you when you come into the Progressive Dental office. When Selena isnt with us, she enjoys going to church, shopping, reading suspenseful novels, playing with her puppy, and spending time with her family and friends.

Found that my 9 year old son needed to have a tooth pulled. He isn't an easy patient! They made sure he was comfortable and there was minimal drama. Even told him he "took it like a man" which he relayed to me with a puffed out chest. TY Dr. Downs!

Another "biggest regret was bad oral hygiene" person. Embarrassed/scared to go to dentist, put it off for probably 7-8 years. Of course, there were problems. But they helped quickly and professionally. Never felt judged or lectured like I did at my old dentist, which I think is why I disliked it so much. But progressive was welcoming and did their best to make you comfortable. The best time to go to the dentist was a year ago. The next best time is today. Don't hesitate, just take care of your teeth. You only get one set.

I had to return to make an adjustment on my fillings. It was a bit high and I was in pain. The dentist used a drill to correct the issue but didn't numb me first! I had two fillings so there were two areas. THIS WAS SO PAINFUL! Even though there were tears rolling down my face and I was shaking because it was so painful, she would not stop. She only said "you just gotta breath", that's it. I had a huge panic attack afterwards. I don't recommend this place to anyone. I have NEVER had a dentist use a drill on my teeth without numbing first. It was an extremely traumatic experience. Only gave one star because there was no option for no stars.

Been going to Progressive Dental for a while now. I'm always met with a smile and great service. Recently had a filling break that I had done years before (not at PD) and got scheduled the same day to get a new filling. The filling looks great and the process was smooth and easy!

I brought my 3 year old to see Nikki and Dr. Downs. They were both AMAZING. They were friendly, made her feel comfortable and explained everything on her level. I highly recommend them!
