On October 1, 1991, Dr. Sonny Spera began what was to be Progressive Dental, PLLC. The first office was located at 1080 Conklin Road in Conklin, NY. This had been the office of Dr. Milton Lawney until his retirement. Dr. Spera and a half dozen dedicated assistants, hygienists and office personnel staffed the small office for two and a half years. In that time, Dr. Spera added more office hours, additional staff and upgraded much of the equipment.
On April 4, 1994, the Conklin Office at 703 Conklin Road was opened. This office was built to accommodate the larger staff and provide state-of-the-art dental design. In 1996, after an office naming contest, our patients input gave us Progressive Dental and our current practice was born!
In 1998, Dr. Loveland retired and joined our practice in Conklin and in September 1998 we merged with Dr. Bernie Collins at 333 Hooper Road. We built our new office at 565 Hooper Road in Endwell, NY, which we opened on February 1, 1999.
We continued to expand Progressive Dental. In April 2004, Dr. DeRensis retired and Progressive Dental of Norwich, PLLC was born. We continued to work out of the office at 89 N. Broad Street and in October 2004 we opened our new office at 101 S. Broad Street in Norwich, NY.
Dr. Peter Kim graduated from State University of New York at Geneseo in 2010 with a major in Biology. He received his doctorate in dental surgery from University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2014.
Had nothing but great experiences. GREAT place to take kids. When my husbands tooth got infected and cracked due to his wisdom teeth, other dentists wanted to make him wait months. They took him in immediately and removed the tooth then and there.
I took my toddler (4yr) in and they were so friendly to her. The first lady cleaned her teeth, explained everything, and was kind. The dentist was quick and nice. He made her a balloon animal and they gave both kids gifts. Definitely recommend this dentists office for everyone.

Very courteous, professional, & helpful. Answered all of my questions, gave me all of the time and attention I needed. I didn't feel like I was being rushed or that I wasn't being listened to or that I wasn't wanted - I was a person whom they were genuinely concerned about!

I give this place zero stars. I have taken my daughter to the Binghamton location since Dr. Lacey was there. The new ownership never told me that they didn't take ANY insurance. After they explained it would be upwards of $500 upfront to have my daughters very infected tooth to have a root canal. I called back for an exact price. They were unable to get that for me. Surprise. They offered no help, and basically told me that if she didn't get her tooth fixed, they would contact CPS and claim neglect. Well they did, but thankfully we have found a much better dental practice at Lalor. Dr. Marcus is very rough with his patients. His breathe often is very repulsive. They have no one working in the office like they had previous. All their long time office employees have left and are sorely missed. This business has gone way downhill and four patients left their practice within minutes. I wouldn't suggest this office to anyone. Go to Lalor.

Exceptional. Had an emergency. Fractured a tooth on Friday evening and got an appointment Monday at 10 AM at Progressive Montrose. Lucky me! Dr. Kim was amazing and terrific: professional, competent, fast and got the job done. Lovely staff and Lisa his assistant was very reassuring. Excellent. Would highly recommend, especially in an emergency.

Update.. Just have to say once again that there is no better dental establishment anywhere that I have used in all my years on this planet. I have never had such a pain/ stress free experience the staff is always so courteous and Dr. Blanchard has a calm and relaxed demeanor and is a master of his skills. Hands down the most relaxed dental experience I have ever had. Was over and done before I knew it. Awesome and professional. Doesn't get any better than progressive dental...

I recommend this dental office. I've been here twice for annual cleanings. The receptionists are kind and helpful, the hygienist is friendly and gentle, and the dentist seems attentive. I have not needed any procedures done by the dentist, so I can only assume in my brief interaction that he's trustworthy and knowledgeable based on other reviews.

Staff is kind, and professional. Facilities are clean. Unfortunately though, I am very disappointed in my experience with this practice regarding how they handle insurance. I asked before my first appointment about my insurance being accepted, to which they said yes. However, it was failed to be explained that they are actually out-of-network for all insurances. They were so kind, and helpful, and did a wonderful job. But the fact is: when it was all said and done, I ended up paying double what I would have needed to. The receptionist was kind and apologetic. Overall it seemed sneaky at worst, or just a very unfortunate misunderstanding at best. Either way, even after it was specifically asked, it was a blunder that cost me quite a bit.

Hands down the best dentist experience I have ever had in my life! I went for tooth bonding and a new retainer, and I absolutely love how my smile came out! They have helped to boost my confidence immensely and they were very thorough with everything. I had virtually no anxiety during the visit because they were so careful and transparent with every step. I cannot thank Dr. Spera, Logan, and the front desk staff enough! I had a wonderful visit as a new patient and I will definitely be going back for all my future dental needs!!

I went and had my first root canal done at their Endwell office. My anxiety was horrible, again, but they put me at ease and even had me laughing, which was awesome! Root canal went really well, numbed really well and didn't feel a thing. We even came up with a new plan that involves fixing another tooth and putting a bridge in. Very pleased with what was done today and our future plan.
