I've been going here for 25 years and have never thought about going elsewhere. My family now goes here and we're all very happy. My three year old son has been as well; Dr. Ball is great with kids!

I absolutely LOVE Progressive Dental of Mechanicsville! Dr. Ball and his team are professional, friendly and easy to partner with for my dental needs. The front office staff are always helpful and accommodating and the hygienist and techs are top notch and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.

i've been going to this practice for the last three years and i'm never disappointed. i'm originally from richmond, virginia but i moved to herdon, virginia last year, however, i decided to stay with this practice / make the effort to drive the two hours because of the amazing staff members. they are very hospital and kind-hearted people and i couldn't ask for a better dental family. s/o to Mrs. Tammy for her endless patience!!

Dr. Ball is so thorough and informative -- He let me know every step of the way what's going on with my treatment plan so there were no surprises plus the staff is very professional and skilled, top to bottom. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a new dental practice!!!

I absolutely love this dental practice! I've been going to the same location for many years. Lovely decor, welcoming, friendly staff. Dr. Ball is extremely knowledgeable and skilled, the final product be it filling or crown is always perfect in appearance and feel. Cannot recommend enough; I send area newcomers here frequently.

If anyone needs a caring and professional dentist, see Dr. Ball!!! He is gentle, he cares about your comfort level of pain and he even calls you from his personal cell to check on his patient! Great small town dental office. We've been going there for years. Dr. Ball and his staff are top notch, and treat you like family. Also, you get seen on time and don't spend all morning in the waiting room. Call now and get an appointment!

I have been going to Progressive Dental for nearly 20 years. I have had great experiences all around. The entire staff is very friendly Dr. Ball has done great work and is awesome specifically in terms of pain management during procedures like Crowns. The front office staff has been great and over the years has been very helpful with with benefits determinations and help choosing between dental plans and working with Orthodontists for my kids braces. The hygienists I have had have all been very friendly and very good as well.

I neglected my smile for a long time due to financial reasons, as well as a fear of dentists. When I was ready to take the scary step I chose Progressive Dental just off google reviews and I have never regretted the decision. Every time I walk in, I am treated as family. The wonderful staff has helped me take a complete 180 with my smile without an ounce of judgement. Dr. Ball expertly filled 10+ cavities over the course of 3 visits and the dental hygienist, Darian, has taken care to calmly but thoroughly clean the teeth. And the front desk is always there at the end to leave you with a smile on your face! I recommend Progressive Dental to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming dentist office.

The hygienist, D, gives the most gentle yet thorough cleaning I have ever had. She listens to what you tell her and can effortlessly repeat it back to Dr. Ball.

Dr. Ball and his staff are wonderful. They are attentive, caring, and competent. When I had an issue with my gums, Dr. Ball called me on his cell phone to inquire about how I was fairing. As a patient, I have felt welcome in his practice from the very beginning. I feel fortunate to be his patient.
