I am proud to be part of the dental profession. It is an ever-changing and fascinating field with tremendous variety. Today we are able to save teeth and replace missing teeth more effectively than even 20 years ago. Its exciting to re-design someones smile and give them the confidence they deserve. Its just as exciting to relieve a persons pain and restore them to comfortable chewing.
Dentistry is about caring for a persons oral and overall health. The entire body is connected, and without good dental health, one cannot be in their best overall health. Likewise, an unhealthy body can leady to an unhealthy mouth. At Progressive Dental, we work with each patient to help them develop a healthy mouth and body. We spend a lot of time teaching and educating patients on proper home dental hygiene, good nutrition, and positive habits.
I truly enjoy the relationships that develop with my patients. As a family-friendly dental office, we care for the children, parents, and grandparents. My patients become my friends, and I like seeing them and their families grow and change. Dentistry is constantly changing, due to extensive research and technological advances. Dr. Skibiel knows its essential to remain at the forefront of these changes. By staying current on developmentsand expanding his training, hes able to achieve even better results for his patients.
Throughout the year, Dr. Skibiel completes many continuing dental education courses. He attends conferences, lectures, and seminars locally and nationally. He also stays current through oral healthcare journals and other publications.
Raised in Steilacoom, Dr. Skibiel has called the Mill Creek, WA area his home since 1998. Most of his free time is spent with his wifeAngie, three daughtersMadison, Danielle, and Oliviaand his sonCaden. The family also has a cat, Honey.

Overall they take care of you and get the job done. My first experience I didn't like, change is always different and it was difficult because they ran out of time and had to do something on the next visit. I feel you should finish with your patient and then move on to the next. Rushing can cause problems for later, I had to go back in and get a problem fixed that they worked on. Also, I don't feel listened too, sometimes I feel they would rather me not speak up and fix the issue when I'm trying to explain somethings wrong... I was asked to wait 2 min because they couldn't understand me with the pillow in my mouth but I was concerned of pain. I've gone a total of 4 times now, and I feel they could be more gentle when they pull the tools out of my mouth so that don't hit other teeth. I'm hoping for better experiences in the future.

The dentists and staff are world class. Clear care plans with transparent pricing, kind and thoughtful treatment, and always 100% concerned about giving the best quality care possible. This is not based on 1 filling but several crowns, 4 replacement fillings, and a full tooth replacement. I came to them with years of damage from sports and marital arts that had been patched by other practices. Progressive worked with me to build a more permanent treatment plan that I could live with for many years to come. I highly recommend Progressive and would travel from outside the area to see them.

I have very sensitive teeth. I went in for an initial exam and cleaning. Meghann my hygienist was so gentle! I experienced no sensitivity throughout the cleaning. I can relax and not fear my cleanings!

Super friendly, helpful, and THOROUGH. Best dental visit I've ever had. Edit to add: I just had another visit, this time for a root canal, and they were every bit as amazing as the first time! Cozy lap blankets, yummy flavored chapsticks, AND they offered complimentary laughing gas (nitrous) which I've never been offered anywhere else before. The staff are all so skilled and friendly, and they immediately put you at ease because you know you're in such great hands. My new crown looks great and fits perfectly! And they made it in-house DURING MY APPOINTMENT so there's no dealing with a temporary crown, having to come back in when it arrives, none of that inconvenience - the entire experience was like night and day compared to a prior root canal I had done at a different dental office a couple of years ago. My husband and I are so happy to have found this place and hope to be able to use them as our go-to dentist for decades to come!

Our family has been going to Dr. Skibiel for over 10 years. We started when my now 18 year old was little and had a terrifying experience at a different dentist. Back then, this office was able to reassure, reassure, reassure to create a new, positive experience with dentists for him. We've been well cared for.

I have been going to Progressive dental for about 6+ yrs now. They have moved to a new office and the staff is very friendly, especially I am impressed with the assistant Don who did my teeth cleaning today. Dr. Berry is great with patients and he's very knowledgeable and I recommend Dr. Berry to all my friends and family leaving in Seattle.
