Dr. Alda Underwood-Hall is a native of Newport News, Virginia and has been in practice since 1984. Dr Underwood Hall received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Hampton University followed by her Masters of Nursing at Emory University. After working as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Cardiovascular Disease for 10 years, she courageously decided to change career paths and earned a Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia.
She has held leadership positions in the Georgia Dental Society serving as both President and Recording Secretary, as well as the North Georgia Dental Society and the Georgia Dental Association. She was recognized by the National Dental Association and presented with their prestigious Phenomenal Woman Award. Dr. Underwood-Hall has achieved both national and international acclaim for her work both before and during the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta as the Director of Dental Services.

Hailing from West Virginia, Carolyn has called Atlanta home for over 25 years. Shes been on the Progressive Dental Group team for 10 years and a patient of Dr. Underwoods for 30 years. She is very active in her sorority and enjoys spending time with her 4 children and 2 grandchildren.

The should change their name SHADY DENTAL GROUP. I had an appointment with them for 3:30pm to have a crown put back on which I paid them to do prior. Mind you they just put it back. Didn't make it. On my to my appointment someone with a stank attitude called me at 3.22. I told her that I was two minutes away. This one was on August 24th and was very rainy that day. She very brutally told me that I miss my whole appointment and that my appointments at 3:00 I said no my appointment was at 3:20 this she said oh your appointment was at 3:10 so you missed your whole appointment. She then proceeded to tell me if they had an opening that they would squeeze me in if they had an opening sometime in the future I just hung up on her. I was so disgusted I would never use them again. They even sent me a text message remind me of my appointment time at 3:20 unbelievable

Very disappointed. I was so excited for my appointment and to begin my journey to restoring my dental health. They took X-rays of my teeth and that was it. No cleaning, then they tried to charge $260 for a more extensive cleaning instead of just giving me a regular cleaning. If you're teeth aren't perfect, don't bother booking. Book with a dentistry that cares about their patients and making people feel comfortable even those who don't have teeth in pristine condition. I will be finding a different office that cares and isn't just about a dollar. Even if I do need an extensive cleaning, I will not be returning to them for it.

I am normally so apprehensive at the dentist, tears and all. But I had a wonderful experience at progressive dental group today. Dr. Eady and Aaliyah, really took care of me and made me feel at home. Would totally recommend this office to anyone looking for dental care.

Quite impressed with this practice. Dr. Easy and Iesha were amazing! I felt completely comfortable during my procedure; I was even allowed to listen to my favorite podcast to help ease my anxiety. I would definitely recommend this office for anyone looking for a fresh start and a new perspective of oral care. I look forward to staying on track with my dental routine at Progressive Dental Group.

I was one who did not like going to the dentist but, Dr Eady and the staff made me feel so relaxed that i soon forgot that I came in nervous. they were so professional yet, very pleasing personalities. Though Dr. Eady is very professional and thorough she's also funny. She really Cares about her patients she is detailed about what you need to do to take care of your gums. So glad to find a really good dentist and staff.

Honestly... no complaints about the procedure I had but the financial practices is very questionable...They ran my insurance prior to me receiving service and they stated that my insurance provided 100% coverage... I have a $50 annual deductible...After my procedure I was charged $108...I really didn't think anything about them overcharging me until much later... (to be continued) currently dissatisfied!!!!!

Had a great experience this morning at Progressive. My appointment started exactly when it was supposed to and my hygienist did a great job talking me through all the steps of my cleaning. The dentist was also very nice and personable and answered all the questions I had. Will definitely be recommending my new dentist to my friends and family!

Amazing Dental Group the staff is very professional! My smile is amazing thanks to Dr Eady and her staff they really make you feel comfortable and do great work. This is the third dental office I've been to since I moved to town and now the search is over I would definitely recommend them.

I went to get a couple fillings done. It was my first time ever getting a filling and I was scared of the needle, but I was pleasantly surprised! After they applied the numbing cream I barely felt that needle. I had absolutely no reason to be afraid. I was well taken care of and the team was very helpful :).

Let me start off by saying, they were able to fit myself, husband and son in on the same day, last minute! Secondly, the hygienist cleaned my teeth with such care, it felt as if I was getting a massage. Additionally, the office is very cute and quaint, a great atmosphere. I am glad there were able to fit my family and myself in. I can't wait to come back! Dr. Eady was very nice has a pleasant spirit as well. It's very hard to find a good dental office that handles their patients with absolute care.

I'm sitting in the waiting room right now, writing this. This is my 3rd visit. I just had to mention the environment here is so pleasant. Love that. We carry a lot around with us. So seat in a waiting room, with this vibe is a Blessing. I almost forgot I was in a public place & was about to kick off my shoes. Oh but the service. Very professional and comfortable. Never in a "dentist office" have I ever been impressed. I can only find joy & excitement as my emotions about what we're accomplishing. Can't wait to show pics of their work. Thank guys

I am very pleased with the staff there and they made sure that I had a week's notice of all my appointments and I would recommend anyone that asked me where did I get my work done and I would tell them Progressive thank you so much for your service
