Dr. Avdhesh Patel received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. After graduating from Binghamton University. In addition to earning his dental degree he completed a General Practice Residency at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY.
Proficient in all phases in general dentistry, Dr. Patel provides comprehensive care to his patients. He routinely attends continuing education courses to keep up with modern techniques and procedures. Dr. Patel is passionate about dentistry and enjoys educating his patients about their oral health and specific dental treatments.
Dr. Katharine Menton was born and raised in Ellicott City, Maryland. She graduated with a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Virginia Tech then made her way back to Maryland for her D.D.S. at the University of Maryland, in Baltimore. Her residency in General Practice Dentistry, at Christiana Care Hospital, is what brought her to Delaware. She has lived in Wilmington ever since.
Outside of the office, Dr. Menton enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, binge-watching the latest Netflix shows, and finding a balance between staying active and trying all the best foods in the Delaware and Philly food scenes.

I was so hurt by a previous Dental Provider that I stopped going. But the staff at this office from the time I walked in the front door until I left made me feel like I was their only concern. I came in with tears of embarrassment but left with a smile. Thank you

Terrible experience, I was scheduled for an appt it was canceled two times the second time it was canceled a hour before my scheduled time. So I had to reschedule again, each time I had to reschedule was 6-8 weeks out. On my 3rd schedule date I was running late, I called to let them know I was stuck in traffic, the receptionist was so rude talking over me said she would check with the Dr to see if it was okay never checked with the Dr made the executive decision herself that I was alr 10 mins late so I hareschedule my appointment again for the 4th time but this time because I was running late in order for me to schedule an appointment I HAVE TO PAY 100$ for a missed appt fee. So now it's 5 months later from when I was originally scheduled and I still don't have an appointment and I PAID IN FULL FOR THE SERVICE. I questioned the fee and asked to talk to the office manager and she told me they was not in and hung up on me. So they took my money, canceled on me twice and then hung up on me. THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER RECEIVED FROM A DENTIST OFFICE

The dentist and dental technicians are great, always knowledgeable, friendly and thorough, but I do have some minor issues with desk staff. Initially tried to bill me almost $200 but upon questioning, she hadn't even checked my insurance. When she did, bill was in the $30 range. Also, some disregard of of dental requirements for coverage when I set up the appointment. I was told by endontist that I MUST see the dentist within 4 weeks for the permanent filling or the temporary one could fail, which would mean I'd have to get the whole route canal done over again and my insurance likely wouldn't pay if I hadn't met the 4 week requirement. When I expressed concern that the appointment was almost beyond the 4 weeks I was told "Well, you're only getting this because we had a cancellation, that's just the way it is" I felt this was completely dismissive of both the medical requirement and the insurance concern.
