I had two root canals done here within 3 weeks or so. Dr Botero took care of me. She is excellent. The disappointment came with how this office operates and handles billing. I saw another review here that had same experience. I went 3 times. First day for X-rays and evaluation and then for the 2 root canals. When you are about to leave they make sure you talk to someone on the desk about copays, bills etc. even after the root canal with mouth numbed they will make you sit and talk to someone at the front desk before you leave, which I guess is ok. All 3 times they toId me I was good to go, insurance covered it. Last visit was early May 2022. Comes Oct 2022 I received this bill out of the blue, with a "threatening" orange sticker telling me to pay immediately or they will put me in collections I never received a phone call, a previous bill....Nothing... I called to ask about it and they weren't even nice... , they told me eventually insurance didn't pay the full amount and now I owe this... strange that this is happening 5 months after the date of service but ok. I asked if they tried to contact me, I was never told I had this bill due ... and she said "billing dpt don't call patients" ohhh.. wow ... so how I'm supposed to know 5 months after that I suddenly owe this immediately... Then she lied and said they sent a bill in August... but statement says it was closed on Sept 13th so how ?? This is not a way to treat patients/clients. I actually found it very tacky and unprofessional. I have no problem paying, I'd initially assumed I'd have some type of copay but this all seems a little shady. I wonder if they do this to get patients and then send them bills later ... Anyways.. I won't be back, even for a follow up I am supposed to have.

My dentist did X-rays, & made a same day appointment with them for a root canal. It was calcified so they spent a long time removing that to get to the root. Finally applied a softening agent & sent me home for a week. After a week, the calcium was removed & root canal was completed. Very pleasant staff, including Dr. Bentur who did the work. No pain with either visit except residual pain from the numbing shots. So all in all, experience was long, but no worse than a regular filling. I don't use network dentists, so I pay & insurance pays me. So a debate over who files the claim, but my dentist cleared that up when he did the permanent filling. I would go there again. HS

They delete bad reviews and are an extremely privileged establishment. During my visit I was rushed and the dentist acted like she barely had time to even see me. At the end, all they did was x-ray my tooth and told me what I already know. Said they would not work on the tooth, and then sent a bill collector after me after letting me leave the office thinking every thing was fine. Don't waste your time or money here.

My husband recently had a root canal done by Dr. Botero. He came out of her office smiling and talking about how awesome she was. A.root.canal. Who does that? LOL. I had a chance to meet her briefly before his procedure and she (and the staff) were so kind and accommodating. Thank you!

Professional Endodontics truly stands by its name. From the moment I called to make an appointment, I knew I would be in good hands. I could hear it in the voice of the staff at the front desk and that is what makes a great first impression. When I walked in to my appointment, I was greeted and checked in right away with a very pleasant staff. The assistant was wonderful setting up the room and preparing me for my procedure. Another staff member then came in and had all the paperwork ready for me to sign on what my cost would be after insurance. Dr. Lou then greeted me and did a wonderful job on my root canal from start to finish with no complications. He was very professional and I could tell he had been doing this for a long time and I knew I could trust his work. My procedure was finished and the dental assistant walked me out to the front desk and there was a lovely packet ready for me with all the post op treatment forms and info from the doctor if I had any issues afterward. Everyone at the office was very pleasant from the time I called to make the appointment to when I left. I would definitely refer this office to anyone that needs an Endodontic referral.

I saw Dr. Bentur for an assessment and root canal. She was so kind, patient and thorough. She answered all of my questions in simple, easy-to-understand language and was incredibly calming when she could sense me getting nervous. Her assistant was also wonderful. The next day, I am experiencing minimal discomfort from the procedure. Additionally, when I called to make my appointment, the office staff were incredibly kind and helpful. If you need any endo work done, I highly recommend Professional Endodontics / Dr. Bentur!
