Professional Dental of Clarkston is located in beautiful Northern Oakland county Michigan, in the city of Clarkston. We originally opened our doors in 2008. Then in the summer of 2016, we relocated our growing practice to a larger facility within our current building. We are proud and honored to be focusing our patient care in the following communities:

Dr. Davidson is the primary care doctor at Professional Dental of Clarkston. You will see him for the vast majority of your general dentistry needs. He is a Michigan native and has dedicated the past 16 years of his life to education and absolute excellence in dentistry. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2003 and attended Michigan State University prior to dental school. Since obtaining his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, Dr. Davidson has committed himself to becoming a lifelong learner in health care. He has traveled throughout the United States attending extensive educational training programs. Over this period of time, he has been taught by some of the countrys most well-known and respected dentists.
In November 2014, Dr. Davidson achieved the elite fellowship distinction at the world renowned Las Vegas Institute (LVI). In doing so, he became one of less than ten dentists in the state of Michigan to be awarded this unique distinction. In March 2015, Dr. Davidson completed the comprehensive dental sleep medicine program at LVI. The Las Vegas Institute is the leading international institution dedicated to the progress of the dental profession. LVI integrates comprehensive diagnosis, contemporary techniques, and cutting edge technology. It is through this intense curriculum at LVI that Dr. Davidson has truly helped change the lives of his patients. This is accomplished through a true physiologic whole body approach to your dental care. Dr. Davidson remains committed to looking beyond just your teeth in order for his patients to achieve optimal health care and wellness.
Dr. Davidsons forte has always been comprehensive general and cosmetic dentistry. He remains committed to the latest trends, clinical techniques, and dental products available. Advanced post graduate training, however, has allowed Dr. Davidson the privilege to help many patients that have suffered a lifetime of many chronic painful conditions. These common conditions include: teeth clenching / grinding, TMJ disorder, chronic headaches, migraines, cervical neck and shoulder pain, poor head and neck posture, worn down teeth, and /or a bad bite. Dr. Davidson also focuses on airway obstruction disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, snoring, and other sleep disorder breathing conditions.
Dr. Davidson is a member of the International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics, the American Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and welcomes the opportunity to provide his patients with unparallelled diagnosis and treatment which incorporates a scientific literature reviewed approach. Every one of Dr. Davidsons patients are always treated as if they were family. Anyone can straighten teeth but only they look at the whole picture. My son had a difficult case. He had sleep apnea, swollen adenoids, mouth breathing, dark circles under his eyes, an undiagnosed tongue tie and a tiny high palette. Dr. Amy taught me so much about all of this affects jaw and facial development. She got him right in to see Lori for myofunctional therapy and began work. The whole family is now patients of the dental side and ortho. I've put three kids thru ortho here and recommend wholeheartedly. Dr. Amy saved my son from a intensive jaw surgery, lifelong headaches, and a jaw pain. Start young. Have your child evaluated before 8 years old.

Had my first visit this week, Jessica was my hygienist. She couldn't have been nicer and helped me get in and out quickly. I also liked that they show you your X-rays and teeth images as they go.

Our daughter was born with a genetic condition called Ectodermal Dysplasia and due to this, is missing a lot of her teeth and the teeth she does have are misshapen. From the moment we met Dr. Amy and her staff, we felt like not only did they immediately make our daughter feel comfortable, but always boosted her self esteem and showered her with love and care. Dr. Amy ended up making our daughter a custom appliance - one of a kind for my daughter's condition - that her and her office staff worked tirelessly on to make happen. The day our daughter got her appliance at Dr. Amy's will be a day I will never forget. Seeing my daughter smile with pride for the first time since she realized her smile was different from others made me cry happy tears. The confidence and smile that my daughter has because of their willingness to be creative is something that money can not buy. This office provides more than dental care. This office has provided my daughter with the confidence she needed to smile proudly, and even to one day want to become a dentist herself. I highly recommend Dr. Amy and her staff.

I have been a patient for many years with this practice and I have had excellent care each visit. Dr. Brian is a great dentist he is also wonderful at explaining treatment options and procedures. He really puts you at ease if you're like me and dental work puts you a bit on edge. Ramona cleaned my teeth on my most recent visit and she did a great job. This was my first time having her clean my teeth and I can say it went quickly and she was very efficient and personable. The office staff are so kind and accommodating as well as being knowledgeable about insurance and billing procedures. The facility is very new and the waiting room is well equipped with phone charging stations, WiFi and a coffee/water station. I highly recommend this practice if you're looking for a new dentist.

Dr. Amy is outstanding. She is well trained and her knowledge of cutting edge orthodontics goes above and beyond conventional techniques to address mechanical problems that help the overall outcome of her patients. On top of that, she has a fantastic bedside manner. The office is always exceptionally clean and the office staff is friendly, helpful and timely.

We love Professional Dental of Clarkston. They are truly great with our children. The office is very clean, and welcoming; filled with cutting edge technology. I love that they have always taken the time to get to know our family on a personal level and we feel like more than just patients. I actually enjoy going to the dentist since I've been going here! The staff are so very nice and welcoming. Dr. Brian is great and I love seeing my favorite hygienist, Jessica. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a dentist in the area.
