Dr. Russell Bak has been practicing general dentistry since 1998, and has been with the Professional Center of Dental Care since June, 1999. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology, magna cum laude, from Loyola University of Chicago, and his D.D.S. degree from Northwestern University Dental School.
Dr. Baks practice philosophy has always been providing quality dental care through strong doctor/patient relationships. He has enjoyed serving the Bolingbrook and surrounding communities for the past 17 years.
Dr. Brittany A. Shubert received her Bachelors of Science degree in biology from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. She graduated Midwestern University Summa Cum Laude with honors and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Beta Epsilon Chapter for outstanding academics.
Dr. Debra Alavi has been in orthodontic practice since 1982. She received both her Doctorate Degree in Dentistry and Masters Degree in Orthodontics from University of Illinois College of Dentistry. Her research focused on dental and facial asymmetries. She also holds a graduate degree from Northern Illinois University and prior to attending dental college she practiced as a certified radiologic technologist at UIC Hospital.
Dr. Alavi has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and has received an award for exceptional achievement in the field of Orthodontics. She is experienced in interceptive treatment, functional appliances and Invisalign and traditional braces. Her practice philosophy is to provide quality care that best addresses patients needs in a conservative manner.
Dr. Rodgers has retired as of March 2018. He began practicing general dentistry since 1983. He received his B.A. degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota and his D.D.S degree from University of Illinois College of Dentistry. He graduated among the top 15 in his class and was awarded membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society and the Chicago Dental Society. He is also a member of the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce and the Bolingbrook Rotary.

I have been coming here for the better part of 18 years and I absolutely love everything about it. I actually look forward to the dentist because I know that I will be greeted with smiling faces and energetic people that all treat their clients amazing. Everyone is so personable and always remembers details about my life from the previous visit. 10/10 recommend and I hope I never have to see a different dentist ever again.

They are always very friendly, and Mary had to crack down on my bad habits. However, she was very nice about it but explained the dangers of not Flossing better. I always appreciate the sincerity of concern and love the great attitude. I will always have my appts here even if I move out of state. Because... Mary is Awesome!!! And Dr. Bach is pretty Awesome too.

I have been going to Professional Center of Dental Care for a number of years and have never been unhappy with the people or the services. Recently, I have undergone some lengthy procedures and the staff and Dr. Bak have gone above and beyond to insure my comfort while sitting in the chair for hours! I recently moved and there is a well known dental center very close to my home, but I will continue to travel further to this practice because I am so pleased with the staff - their professionalism and care for their patients. Update: Another long procedure today and as usual, the staff and the dentist were excellent.

I had severe teeth pains for 2 days so booked an appointment for the next day. Staff were cautious about Covid and had mask mandates in place which I liked and asked patients to call before entering. I liked that too. Staff were very very friendly and helpful. Dr. Schubert saw me almost immediately and was very thorough in explaining things about what could be going on with my teeth after taking a few x-rays. She was cautious and recommended me to see an endodontist before actually doing anything. I would highly recommend Professional Center of Dental Care to anyone.

Yvonne is the best hygienist! I've been coming to her for years, and she is always extremely kind, personable, and professional. I was late my last appointment after bad traffic and a bad day, and I appreciated her gracious spirit. I know a lot of people who don't like to go to the dentist, but thanks to Yvonne and the staff at the Professional Center of Dental Care, I don't mind at all.

All of Dr. Baks staff is very professional and friendly from the front desk on down. The day started with a visit to see the Mary, the hygienist, and ended with Dr. Bak. Would highly recommend this office if you need any dental care !!

Another great visit to the dentist's office. You don't hear that very often. Mary gave me a very thorough cleaning, as usual, and Dr Bak performed an excellent exam. I can always count on the entire staff, for great service, at reasonable prices.

This visit was my first since the Pandemic. I admittedly had some apprehension, but upon my arrival I realized that I was in a safe and caring environment. Everyone was in masks and gloves. There was a protective shield between the desk personnel and patients, and most importantly the hygienist and dentist were understanding as well as upbeat and positive.

We had a horrible experience! My daughter went there for an Orthodontist consult, we waited an hour only to be told to come back for an xray. We went back for this x ray , we never got a call back about the results. We made several attempts all to no avail.
