Dr. Orvin, owner of two state of the art dental practices, founded Productive Dental Assisting (PDA) as a small intimate Dental Assisting School to teach, develop and help motivate students interested in the great field of Dentistry. We co-located our school and one of our dental practices together for a very important reason. This provides a fun learning atmosphere where 8 to 10 students at a time, can get both instructional and hands on training in anactualdental office.
Dr. Orvin and PDA provide an environment for learning the knowledge, skills and behaviors necessary for professional practice. Program curriculum is based upon biological, physical, behavioral, dental sciences, and general studies. The program promotes self-directed and service learning for personal and professional growth and development. It serves as a foundation for continued learning in an ever-changing field of dentistry.

usually you can bypass a dental assisting program and get on the job training, and I will not be updating my star rating because I don't think this program deserves 5 stars

I'm so glad I decided to go with this school over the competition! The instructor I had made the experience flawless! She really went above and beyond to ensure I had a firm grasp on whatever we went over for the week! So thank you Natasha. I'm excited for my new career!

I LOVE this program! Natasha is the BEST teacher in the world! She deserves to get a raise because she is amazing! Such a great program and great people, I have learned so much and now have a real assisting job! Highly recommend.

Glad I joined PDA to get my dental assistant certification. PDA is a great school and the instructors are amazing at teaching and helping out after graduation. They help us find a job and provide us with resume tips with going into our new career path.

I only got Dawn for a few weeks but she was amazing. Explained everything so well! Was really patient with us and showed us everything in the lab and helped us out alot! If you want to be a dental assistant in less then 15 weeks you should totally do this course!

Dawn is the best teacher! I have learned so much in just 10 weeks. I would recommend this program to anyone! I got in and started my externship right away. Not only did I learn so much about Dental Assisting I have been able to sharpen my people skills and not be so shy!

It was a great experience attending PDA. Learned a lot, got hands on experience, the classes aren't too big and the course isn't overly pricey or lengthy. They encourage you to intern or extern for real experience, the advise you on how to get a job not just learn the material, and they care about you as a student. If you want to go into dental assisting I'd recommend attending productive dental assisting.

This was the best experience going to school here. I am so grateful to have gone here. They have a lot of hands on teachings & overall great way of teaching in general.. I was able to learn sooo much & get great scores on all of my tests, including my finals, all thanks to their teaching techniques. Thank you PDA!!

This program is good it taught me a lot of new things i didn't know about, Dawn is such a good teacher she has helped me out on my homework to pass the tests, she's made it so easy and all the people who were in my class helped each other which was nice. Overall it was a good program and I meet new people!
