Dr. Procopio is originally from the city of Catanzaro, Italy (near Naples and Mt. Vesuvius). She graduated in 1992 with a dental degree, Cum Laude from the University of Messina, Italy and followed with postgraduate work in 1993 at the University of Bologna (AEGD one-year program). She moved to San Francisco, CA in 1998 and graduated from the University of Pacific School of Dentistry in 2001. She worked in San Francisco, CA for two years before moving to Walnut Creek, CA in 2003, where she now lives with her two wonderful daughters and her husband.
In 2004, Dr. Procopio completed a dental implant surgery curriculum at the Dental Implant Institute. She was personally trained by Dr. Lawrence Lum, a pioneer in the field of dental implantology and she earned certification for dental implant placement. She continues advanced implant training on a regular basis and she has successfully completed hundreds of implant cases in our office.
Dr. Bui truly believes in patient-centered care, and her primary objective is to provide each patient with an individualized approach to achieve their oral health goals. She takes the time to discuss all treatment options with each patient so they feel informed and empowered about their dental care. Most importantly, Dr. Bui emphasizes preventative care and develops treatment plans focused on maintaining healthy smiles for years to come.
Dr. Bui grew up in the Bay Area and completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles, obtaining a degree in Biology. She then went on to obtain her dental degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of California, San Francisco, where she currentlyserves as a volunteer Clinical Instructor. After dental school, Dr. Bui committed to furthering her education and clinical skills by completing a General Practice Residency at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Bui enjoys cooking, wine tasting, training for half-marathons, and planning her next travel destination.
Dr. Deschenes is a native of Northern California and has made the East Bay his home because of its culture, natural beauty and vibrance. In his off time he enjoys hiking with his dog Chloe, building and sailing wooden boats, and gardening.

Dr. Procopio is the best. She maintains a clean, professional, and friendly dental practice. Her hygienists are thorough and careful, never rushing you through. My family and I have been patients for over 17 years, and we would not trust our dental care to any other practice.

Absolutely incredible! I think we can all agree that going to the dentist can be a fearful experience because of the fear of receiving bad news or reliving a traumatic childhood experience of getting your first cavity filled in, but THIS office does it better. I went in for a cleaning and explained my worries and the hygienist, Penny, told me how I could better my routine and asked me questions to better understand my situation. After a very thorough cleaning and great explanation, Dr Procopio did my examination and went over my concerns as well as gave me advice to make sure I'm taking care of my teeth the way I need to. I love the staff and the efficiency, so if you're looking for a dentist in the bay area, look no further, because this is your jackpot.

Beautiful, modern looking office with a lovely design.Dr.Procopio did a great job on remodeling this office.Very friendly and helpful dental team.I was there for my reg. dental cleaning with a new hygienist Penny.My treatment was very efficient and pleasant.This hygienist is well skilled, with a good technique, gentle touch and a nice personality.As a pt. As usual , I received excellent care. I have come to appreciate A, the hygienist. The Dentist that I had not met before came to take her turn . To my surprise, she became involved and made Several good suggestions. I know that finding a dentist is an unpleasant job. I don't think you need to keep looking after going to drProcopio and the rest these of these fine dentists. I have been going to this group for 25 years!

I've been a patient at this location since I first had teeth. I have never been to another Dental office for regular cleanings. I was a patient of the former Dr Wolter who first started at this location. Dr Procopio provides the same excellent service. I still have all my teeth and I am now in my early 40's so that has to say something for the quality of dental care I have received.
