He truly enjoys bringing the best that dentistry offers by attending continuing education courses in cosmetic dentistry, periodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, implants, and the latest techniques and technology.
Dr. Anthony and his wife love to travel and see new places. But dont be surprised to see him on the baseball fields or at a swim meet as he dedicates his time to family and enjoys nothing more than attending his childrens sporting activities.
Dr. Rana joined the Pro Smile Dental Care team in early 2020 and brought over twelve years of dental experience. She has a deep interest in science and a desire to help people. She has been practicing dentistry since graduating from the University of California Davis in 2005. Dr. Rana also attended the University of the Pacific, earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2010.
She is board-certified to practice dentistry in California and attends multiple dental education courses throughout the year to stay current with all the newest advances in dental technology. Dr. Rana takes pride in providing professional and detailed care to all her patients, and she enjoys taking part in many different aspects of dentistry. She practices both on adult and pediatric patients and strives to always provide a comforting and relaxed environment for all family members.
Tinah has a naturally positive attitude and a friendly communication style. She is primarily responsible for managing the business side of Pro Smile Dental Care and has been with us since its start in 2006. But dont be surprised if shes up front from time to time, checking you in as she loves to help out anywhere she can. Outside of the office, her world revolves around her three kids. They are a very active family and love the outdoors and playing sports.
Vennesa is one of the newest members to join our Pro Smile Dental Care team and will be your go-to for all insurance or financial-related questions. Her medical billing background and her talent for understanding patient accounts make her a great addition to our growing team. When she is away from the office, she is busy cheering her son on during baseball games or at the soccer fields on the sideline.
Kayla studied dental hygiene at Carrington College in San Jose and has worked for Pro Smile Dental Care for over ten years. She enjoys working with her patients and making them feel good about their oral health. Kayla is an expert in dental hygiene and ensures her patients are at ease during all their treatment, from regular cleanings to more complicated periodontal procedures. She is a foodie at heart and enjoys eating at fabulous little restaurants all over the bay area or spending time with her family and going on hikes, and taking bike rides.
Monica, a native of the bay area, received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Holy Names University in 2016. Then went further in her passion for healthcare and pursued Dental Hygiene at Chabot College in Hayward, Ca. She loves working together with patients to improve oral health and takes pride in educating her patients to live a better overall lifestyle. Monica loves to go to the beach in her free time and travel with family and friends to new restaurants documenting her adventures along the way.
Monica attended an ROP program in Hayward, CA, and graduated from their registered dental assisting program in 2015. She has been with Pro Smile Dental Care as the Lead dental assistant since 2018 and is responsible for ensuring we are ready to work. Monica is also our lab tech and will most likely be the one staining and glazing your new Cerec crown. She loves to make patients feel comfortable and can bring a smile to anyone's face. Monica loves to cook and spend time with her family and her new baby boy when not in the office.
Michaela works alongside the dentists but can also be helping out the hygienists, making crowns in the lab, or even helping out at the front desk. She has been with Pro Smile Dental Care for over a year and has over three years of dental assisting in her background; she loves to help educate patients on their treatment. When shes away, her favorite place is with her two adorable little boys.
CEREC, also known as Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics, or CEramic REConstruction) is a dental restoration device that allows us to produce great results the same day for ceramic dental restorations by using a variety of computer-assisted technologies.
In the past it could take 3 or more visits and a waiting time of a couple of days up to a couple of weeks to obtain a ceramic crown or dental implant crown. The previous lab costs added onto the total cost of the crown replacement.
The CEREC system uses 3D technology to create a far more precise digital impression of the patients teeth, and does so in a fast, easy, and far more comfortable manner than the traditional methods in the past. What does this mean for you? Is it affordable? Yes!

Pro Smile is the best place for you and your family to get your dental healthcare. Dr. Nguyen and his entire staff are so friendly and welcoming it puts any anxiety you may have at ease. The office is so clean and modern and they are always up on cutting edge technology so you know you're getting the best care possible. I came to them a decade ago with a variety of dental issues that come with how shall we say "being on the planet a reasonable amount of time". I have crowns that were starting to break down, gum disease, I'm a clencher,- I even needed an implant for one tooth. I've thrown a variety of dental disfunction their way and they handled it all with amazing professional and skill level. They walk you through everything and show you pictures of what needs to be addressed & why so you can make the choice of when is the best time financially for you to be able to address it. They work with you and your insurance if you have any issues and are always ready to help with any questions. I definitely feel I have a partner in Pro Smile and feel confident and happy with my dental health. Check them out you won't be disappointed. Wow, when you walk in you, you are greeted by their nice staff, and the place feels so welcoming . There is a nice comfortable lobby and offer refreshments. The place is really clean with all the latest technology and offer tv while getting work done. I also like being able to see pictures of my teeth taken on the same screen and having them explain what was going on. My dental hygienist, Arlene, was very pleasant. She was very fast, efficient yet very thorough and explained everything along the way. Dr. Anthony is nice and made me feel very comfortable. He is very good at what he does and is very knowledgable. This place is night and day compared to my last office and so glad I made the change. I highly recommend this place.

I was referred to Dr. Anthony Nguyen from a good friend of mine who always gives great recommendations. Upon entering the office it is very clean, calm and relaxing. The staff there are great and answers all of your questions and make sure you are aware of the procedure and the costs. My dental hygienist 'Arlene' was fabulous. She took great care in making sure I was 110% comfortable and answered and addressed all my questions and concerns. I will now be referring all my friends and family here! Thank you ProSmile Team!

Dr. Anthony has been my dentist for me and my family for many years. He and his staff are true professionals with a focus on providing quality care in addition to excellent customer service. They also recently moved to a new location which is larger than the old office with a posh and modern decor. I have young kids (all under the age of 12) and like all parents, choosing a dentist for me and my family is based on a level of comfort and trust that you build over time. There is no other dental office who I would choose other than Dr. Anthony and his awesome staff. I can't ask for better people to take care of my family's dental needs!

New office location but same great, friendly, efficient staff!! Just visited Dr. Nguyen and his friendly staff at their new and beautiful location! First, can I just say that it's one of the nicest dental offices I've ever been to? It's not your typical old dingy doctors' offices! This new location is a breath of fresh air! It's so modern! From the decor in the waiting room to the technology in the treatment rooms!! And who doesn't like killing two birds with one stone? You can catch up on your favorite Netflix movie/show while you're getting a treatment because they have nice TVs on the ceiling for you to pass the time during your appointment! But aside from all that fun stuff, Dr. Nguyen has a great, friendly and efficient staff which is hard to find nowadays. Give him a visit!

Dr. Anthony and staff are great! Friendly atmosphere and the new office is awesome! Love the timely reminders via email and text. Mikayla was great about calling the day before to make sure I knew they were in the new office location. This new office has state of the art everything! I had a dental implant done here and today I got the crown put on. I even got to watch the machine make the crown! :o) Maria was very patient and helpful when our insurance hadn't yet listed me in their system and she helped us get through to the insurance company to straighten it all out. If you want excellent dental care this is your place!

What a beautiful dental office! I found Dr. Anthony through a friend referral and decided to come for a cleaning. Everything in this office is BRAND NEW. Say what?! YESSSS Brand New! That new hardwood smell kind of new! I found out this office is only 1 month young. Nice! I walked in here and was greeted by Maria. Paperwork process was super fast and immediately got escorted to the X ray state of the art Machine Room. Wow. This is FANCY. Thank you insurance! I must have been living under a shell all my life @ previous dental offices but none of my past dental experience (especially Brand New Equipment + CLEAN!!) compares to an office. Dr. Anthony came by to say hi after my cleaning and I'll be back. 5 stars recommended! Thank you so much!

Me and my husband have been going to Dr. Anthony for over 5 years. I had some pretty extensive work that needed to be done. Dr. Anthony has exceeded all my expectations anymore. He is the best dentist by far that I have ever went to I Cannot say enough positive things about him.

I've been going to pro smile dental care for 5 years now, and I keep coming back because the staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. And unlike my past dentists, they don't pass any judgement if your teeth are in rough condition--so it's the first dentist that I haven't been scared to come back to time and time again. Recently, I wanted to come in to have a crown redone, but only had three days before leaving for school. Dr. Anthony squeezed me in for a last minute consultation past their closing time, and then, even though his schedule was already full, agreed to work through his lunch for me to fix my crown the next day. When I wasn't completely satisfied with how it looked, they were totally receptive to editing the crown until I was happy with it, and stayed with me to fix and perfect the tooth to my liking until past 8pm on a Friday. They really went the extra mile when they insisted that I should go home and see how the crown looked in the daytime and all other settings to make sure I was completely happy with it before they would come in on the weekend (while they're normally closed) to put it in permanently. Basically, Dr Anthony and his assistants had stayed overtime with me three days in a row to ensure that I would be totally happy with my smile before heading back to school. I really can't recommend their services enough!!

I don't have a lot of experience with dentists in San Ramon, but this has to be worst!! Their customer service is horrible. Their text message service is out of control and their email appointment reminders are apparently not important enough to have the correct address on the email. Avoid this dentist at all costs.

Think I've found my lifetime Dentist. Been coming here for a few years and they are very organized with a friendly and helpful team. The star of the show is Dr. Nguyen - who it should be, right? His bedside manners - or should I say chair side - are outstanding and make you feel valued and cared for. Give them a try and find out for yourself.
