Dr. Phuong P. Tran completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at University of Southern California Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry (USC). During her education at USC, she was awarded Deans list.
Because Dentistry is a constantly evolving field, Dr. Phuong P. Tran continues her education through a number of classes, courses, and lectures. Despite having over 20 years of experience in Dentistry, Dr. Phuong P. Tran still reads into new research and different approaches to treatment, determining the best way to help her patients. I live in Irvine, Californiawith mytwo beautiful daughters who are the highlights of my life. When Im not working, I spend a lot of time practicing yoga and at the gym. I also love cooking and am an avid reader. I love learning new things!

I enjoy helping people learn how important it is to take care of their teeth. Its especially rewarding to teach parents and children how to care for their smile, to prevent future dental problems. Im a Dental Assistant and have worked with Dr. Tran since 2004. She cares a lot about peoples health and provides the best care. I schedule visits, verify dental insurance, and handle billing and accounts receivable.
Outside of work, Im very family oriented. I met my husband here at the office: he was having work done. We have a young daughter. Welove riding bikes, visiting museums, and participating in church activities on the weekend. I love seeing my family happy. My daughter and I love going camping and enjoy nature and animals. She says she wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up.
I like meeting new people and learning about their lives. Some people are worried about seeing the dentist and I reassure them that Dr. Tran practices truly painless dentistry. A patients smile of relief at the end of a procedure, and their thanks for the gentle care theyve received, make my day. I assist patients, seating them, preparing them to see the doctor, and explaining what will happen. Then I work chairside, making sure Dr. Tran has everything she needs while ensuring our patient is comfortable. At the end, I provide home care instructions and answer questions.

Dr. Tran is extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy, and compassionate dentists I have ever met. She does not sell her services but educates her patients so that they understand the dentistry behind the procedures. She works with your financial situation to provide the care that fits your needs. She provided me with all the possible options for treatment and scenarios before doing anything. She really takes the time to make sure you get what you came for and is very conservative with her procedures and does not perform anything unnecessary. Not to mention the staff are friendly and accommodating! Going to the dentist could not be more easy!

Dr. Tran and her amazing staff are like family to us. My 5 kids, hubby, and I have been going to her for years for our family dental care. The staff at Pro Dental on Harbor are not only professional and kind, but are always accommodating. I have no complaints and will happily recommend Dr. Tran, Blanca, and her whole staff to anyone who is looking for great dental care for the whole family. We used to live in Orange County and moved to the South Bay, but we have no reason to switch dentists. We enjoy the drive every 6 months to see Dr. Tran and don't mind the extra distance to get there. It's definitely worth it!

I've been a patient of Dr. Tran for years and I can honestly say this office is the most professional/clean office I have ever visited . I come all the way from Tustin to get attended here due to a the outstanding amount of customer service given here. I had recently gotten my wisdom teeth removed and I honestly rate the pain level at a 1 (1-10) . Her dental technique speaks for It's self. The proceedure was well organized/performed , and the after care instructions were well thought out Overall nothing but amazing satisfaction.
