We understand that Dentistry is an ever-changing field, and we are committed to the pursuit of education in the latest advances in the Dental field so that we can offer to our patients state-of-the-art treatment. Dr. Provenzale is a true leader in the field and maintains credentials at the highest levels. He is one of the select few Dentists to have received formal medical training (i.e. Anesthesiology Residency) and is presently the only Board-certified comprehensive Oral Implantologist (i.e. Implant Dentist) practicing in the Western suburbs of Chicago.
Infection control in our office is of the utmost importance to us. To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly adhere to sterilization and cross-contamination procedures using standards set forth by the ADA (American Dental Association), the CDC (Center for Disease Control), and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration.)
Additionally, we maintain the highest standard in technology and equipment for unforeseen medical emergencies including Pulse Oximetry, Automated Defibrillator, Endotracheal Tubes, and emergency pharmaceuticals. Dr. Provenzale is certified in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support.)
Our goal is to provide the best dental care possible while being responsive to the needs of our patients. Building a foundation of trust by treating our patients as special individuals is the very essence of our practice, from the Doctor, our hygienists and throughout our dedicated staff as well. Although we are usually very busy, our policy is to immediately treat any patient in pain. Dr. Provenzale, Jr. will at almost all times be available in the event of a dental emergency, night or day.

Dr. Donald Provenzale, Jr. graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry, Maywood, IL in 1988 at the top of his class, and subsequently completed residency training in Anesthesiology at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Chicago, IL, in 1990.
At the time, he was conducting anesthesia research and was given the opportunity to pursue an M.D. degree and ultimately continue training toward becoming a board-certified Anesthesiologist. Due to his love for Dentistry, however, he declined the offer.
Dr. Provenzale is now recognized as aleader in the field, and is one of only 500 Dentists worldwide to be honoredwith the distinction of board-certification in the emerging dental specialty ofOral Implantology.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and regularly volunteers for both the Illinois Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped and Donated Dental Services.

I was looking for a new dental practice in my area. I am no longer close in proximity to the old practitioner, and so this was an opportunity. I did not have any personal referrals but when researched, I found the reviews for one practice in particular to be outstanding. They did not have the most reviews but theirs were the best, where it related to quality of care and service. In appreciation, I would like to add my voice to those who already were impressed and moved enough to submit their opinions. A dental practice is the sum of its parts, including receptionists, office, billing, hygienists and of course, the doctors. If any of these areas is lacking, the entire patient experience is affected. Pro Dental is a top flight, professional organization, headed by two experienced doctors who share their patients. These doctors are proficient and able to do more than just fillings. I highly value that. I do not like to be referred out to other practitioners for crowns, root canal or straightforward extractions, all of which these dentists do. The doctors' credentials are fabulous and my experience with Dr. Kawalesik was most excellent. She also introduced me to Dr. Provenzale. I had two crowns done. The equipment and technology is modern. The "bedside" manner is intelligent and personable. And the technique is flawless. That on it's own, would be enough to keep most people coming back but the office staff, technicians, hygienists, are all super. Highly recommend!

I've been a patient of Dr Provenzale's for over 15 years. I've always wanted to improve my smile. I had spaces between teeth and they weren't as white as I wanted them. Dr P explained the way a smile make over would fix all of my issues. He helped me achieve that natural straight perfect smile I always wanted! He has a special ability to make you feel at ease and we'll informed about the Process ahead. My end result FAR EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. My whole family comes to him. Every person I refer to him always says he's so fun!!

My search for a competent-caring professional began over a year ago when my upper permanent partial could no longer sustain . I made contact with several friends who directed me to their DDS. I spent over $2000 (unnecessarily) on X-rays, visits/consultatios, etc. Quite by chance I was volunteering with a man who (unsolicited) gave me raving reviews of Dr. Provenzale, Jr. = ProDental. I decided to call and from that moment on, I sensed a professional. Today, after 8+ months of implants/consulations, I received my permanent-upper partial--the balance of the restoration will occur in the Fall. The permanent partial looks great, it feels great. I am grateful to Dr. Provenzale Jr and Michelle for their dedication to perfection. Yes, It was costly---but if you are in search of quality, excellent service, this is the place. Don't take my word for it, The first consult is "no-charge." Both my son and a good friend are having implants done and are happy with Dr. Provenzale, Jr.

I got my wisdom teeth out a few months ago by Dr. Karen Kowalesik and she was great! I was super nervous as I have never had any type of serious work done to my teeth and she made me feel at ease. She did very well at explaining the extraction process and tips to heal quickly. Everything healed very well and I would highly recommend her to others!

The team at Pro Dental was fantastic. I had all four wisdom teeth taken out and experienced no swelling and barely any pain. It was a wonderful surprise. An overall great experience, and I am so thankful to have chosen them for the procedure!

I got my wisdom teeth out in a heartbeat. No pain, quick and easy, and I got to keep them. Dr. Provenzale had great knowledge, and performance. Michelle did a great job at keeping everything easy to work on and neat. Very clear on explaining the aftercare. I highly reccomend for anyone who needs professional work.

This is a great place to get dental work done. I had a tooth that was bothering me for a long time and I needed to get a root canal. The procedure was painless and quick. Everything was explained and I will be back to get more work done in the future. Dr. Provenzale took good care of my needs.

I had my root canal done at pro-dental it was a great experience. I have never had a dentist quite like Dr. K. The experience was quite fluid and easy. Dr. K took the time to ensure that I felt comfortable and that the job was done correctly. Dr. K was professional and gave me clear explanations on the procedure and what to expect. I greatly appreciate Dr. K's work and how she makes the customer comfortable.

I have been a patient at this location for many years. I had recently completed Clear Correct. This was 10x better than having braces, period. Cheaper too! My treatment not only reached completion in less than 6 months, but Doctor Kowalsik and Lola were awesome. They took care of me at each appointment, were very personable, and even looked out for me, which made my treatment extremely worth it. Dr. Provenzale Jr. is also awesome. THANK YOU!!

I've been coming to Provenzale dental since I was 17 years old And The staff and Dr. Provenzale Junior are just amazing with their techniques. Dr. K has worked on my daughters teeth. My daughters teeth look amazing with the assistance of Lola who makes the whole experience so comfortable and smooth. My daughter was very nervous but Lola put her at ease and kept reassuring her that everything was going to turn out just perfect.
