A native of Medellin, Colombia, Dr.Correafirstgraduated from Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud-C.E.S.in 1988 as a General Dentist and worked as an independent dentist in Colombia for 12 years. During these years, she sharpened her abilities by attending a great deal of Dental Seminars, Conferences, and Continued Education Courses, such as Straight Wire Orthodontic Techniques, among many others.
After moving to the United States, Dr. Correa continued to pursue her passion for dentistry by going back to dental school at Loma Linda University in California. In June 2007, she received her second degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.), in the USA.
Dr Correa moved to Texas in 2007, where she has establishedhis practice in Frisco, TX as she very much enjoys the diversity and warmth of the city. Shecontinuously enhances her knowledge and skills by taking numerous continuing education courses in orthodontics, implants and implant restorations, and all aspects of cosmetic dentistry so that she can keep up-to-date on the latest techniques. In 2016 she took a year long Implant Externship Program from Dental XP and the State UniversityofNew York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine.In 2019 shebegan to learn Dental Acupuncture. Every year she improves her abilities and knowledge with new techniques.
Her primary goal as a practitioner is to build strong relationships with her patients based on trust and confidence. Sheoffers the best services in a very professional way,keeping a very friendly environment for everyone around her.

Along with providing exceptional dental care to all of her patients, Dr. Correa is an active member of the North Texas Hispanic Dental Association (NTHDA) an, as a board member also enjoys giving back to the community in any way she can. Actually, she created the The Soccer Smiles Tournament in 2014 which is used to collect donations to make it possible for under-served families to receive free dental health screenings among other things.
