Being a prosthodontist is more than a career to me. It is a calling. I am as passionate about dentistry today as I was more than 40 years ago. I love coming to work every day and spending time with and caring for wonderful people. I truly believe that what I do can change lives!
I obtained my Bachelor of Music from the New England Conservatory of Music. Then I attended New York University College of Dentistry, where I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. I completed a general practice residency at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City. Finally, I earned my certificate in prosthodontics from the New York University College of Dentistry Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics.
In order to keep my skills sharp and my dental knowledge current, I love to teach! I am an associate clinical professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, postgraduate education, and former associate clinical professor in the Jonathan and Maxine Ferencz advanced education program in prosthodontics. Teaching is an opportunity to give back for what I have received, and an opportunity to help nurture the next generation of dentists. I enjoy educating and mentoring young prosthodontists. They are the future of my specialty.
I am an artist at heart! Before I decided to pursue dentistry as a career, I was a professional musician. Prosthodontics gives me the opportunity to combine art, science, and technology. My career has afforded me the ability to change peoples lives, which makes every day incredibly rewarding for me!
One of the primary things I love about my patients is that each and every one is completely different. I love touching other lives and having my life enriched by theirs. After 40 years in practice, I have met some incredible people and made wonderful friends. I look forward to meeting you and your family as well!

I was raised in the Bronx, NY, and have lived in Princeton for the past 30 years. I have two wonderful children, a daughter-in-law, and two grandsons. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the piano, gardening, traveling, and swimming. I am an officer in the American College of Prosthodontists, active in my community, and have donated to the Dental Lifeline Network for more than 25 years in conjunction with the New Jersey Dental Association. I am also proud to be involved with Dental Volunteers for Israel and have made several trips to Israel specifically to treat underprivileged Arab, Christian, and Jewish children in Jerusalem.

I have been a hygienist in our office for more than 20 years. I provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, radiographs, periodontal therapy, and homecare instructions. Dr. Hudis is very supportive and has provided us with a high-tech office. We perform comfortable and comprehensive care for our patients every time they visit us. We want our patients to feel special and cared for in our office. I truly feel this is my home away from home!
In addition to dental hygiene, I am a marathon runner, cross-country coach and advocate for Duchennes muscular dystrophy. My family and I live by the mantra of make every day count! We find balance through running, hiking, and travel!
Welcome! I am a certified dental assistant in our office. I greet each patient in the reception area and bring him or her back to the clinical area. My patients comfort is one of my biggest concerns, and I also want them to be as well-informed as possible. Im with my patients from the start of their treatment to the finish. Its rewarding for me to be a part of restoring a broken or decayed tooth back to health and ideal function. I feel very fortunate to have worked with Dr. Hudis for more than 18 years. In addition to being an exceptional dentist, he is also one of the most ethical people I know.

Doctor Hudis office is the most welcoming dental practice I have ever been to. I used to be so scared of dentists that I would always cancel or run away from.. Doctor Hudis is the most ethical and expert in his field, he was able to recreate my smile, he never took a short cut and when he was not 100% pleased with what the lab was sending to him, he would at his own cost ask them to re-do the job. He is a true artist, a very kind and charismatic gentleman and never once I felt any discomfort. Elizabeth at the front is so kind and always has a smile, Barbara, Doctor Hudis right arm is "sunshine' because she always brighten the room and she is the very best dental Assistant. Crystal the Hygienist is a true expert in her field, so caring and meticulous that you come out of her room with the withiest teeth and super healthy and clean gums. When he takes tooth/teeth out he has his own method, instead of pulling the tooth in once piece, he shaves it to the gum and then takes a tool that looks like a tweezer and only one little piece is pulled therefore no swelling and no pain afterwards no matter how many he needs to take out in one session. Doctor Hudis is very involved in the prosthodontic society, he also volunteers his time to underprivileged people and as the cherry at the top of the cake he teaches the younger generation the skills that he learned, practiced and mastered over the years. Doctor Hudis gave me a new life, I walk with confidence and smile with pride and I am looking forward to my appointments.
