Dr. Masciantonio has been treating patients of the Prince Frederick area for over 30 years. Hailing from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania Dr. Masciantonio originally came to southern Maryland to enjoy the bay weather, but has made numerous friends over the years making it feel like home. He received his bachelors as well as his masters degrees in chemistry from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and his doctorate of dentistry from University of Pittsburgh.
Outside of his dental career, Dr. Masciantonio has held many positions in various fields ranging from teaching at DuBois Central Catholic School in 1975, coaching basketball, to being a Process Engineer at Bahama Cement Co. One of his proudest moments is when he cycled cross country in 30 days in 1982.
Dr. Azad has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years in both the Greenbelt and Prince Frederick area. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, Dr. Azad received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Maryland Dental School in 1993. In his spare time, Dr. Azad enjoys spending time with his wife, Behnaz, and two sons. He also enjoys traveling, playing basketball, watching movies, and eating chocolate.
Dr. Aalemansour has been practicing dentistry at Prince Frederick Dental Center for over 20 years. His alma mater is Howard University, where he also spent his years of residency at the universitys hospital.
He is happily married to his wife Dr. Farnoush Jamali, who used to practice in Prince Frederick, Maryland. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Aalemansour loves spending time with his wife, daughter, and two sons.
A graduate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kafashzadeh followed his training with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Temple University, where he completed training in advanced implant dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery, root canals, and cosmetic dentistry. He brings passion, excellence and uncompromising quality to all of his patients. He enjoys providing healthier mouths and improved smiles for his patients as he is a big believer that oral health and overall health are intertwined. He is an active member of several organizations with focus on higher standard of care. He is proactively involved in the community through multiple initiatives.
Having graduated from University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2014 with both her DDS and PhD degrees. After practicing in Kalamazoo, Michigan for one year, Dr. Nunez decided to complete a two-year General Practice Residency at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The program provided advanced clinical training on restorative, cosmetic, surgical, and implant dentistry.
Dr. Nunez grew up in Bowie, Maryland and having to move back to the area, she has been able to spend more time with her family, husband, and their dog. Dr. Nunez is also fluent in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Brannon is the newest dentist to join the Prince Frederick Dental Center team! After completing her undergraduate studies at University of Maryland-College Park with a degree in Community and Public Health, she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Maryland. During her residency at Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Brannon gained experience working with patients with special needs.
Dr. Ahmed Tamim, DDS, MD is a dual-degree, board-eligible Oral Maxillofacial and cosmetic surgeon. He graduated from NYU College of Dentistry with OKU honors (omicron kappa upsilon) after earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He then attended Louisiana State University in Shreveport , LA where he earned his medical degree (MD) and then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training. Dr. Tamim then completed a Full-body and Facial Cosmetic Surgery fellowship in Oklahoma.
Dr. Tamim is always researching new innovative surgical techniques to apply in his practice. He co-authored a book chapter titled Cleft Lip and Palate Patient Rhinoplasty. And published an article in The American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery titled Temporomandibular Joint Reconstruction with Simultaneous Deep Plane Rhytidectomy: A Case Report.
Dr. Nguyen was born and raised in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She graduated from theUniversity of Arkansasbefore attending theUniversity of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. She participated in the Senior Departmental Advanced Studies Program in endodontics at UMKC and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2014. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Nguyen furthered her education by completing a1 year general practice residency at Wellspan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. Dr. Nguyen completed her post doctorate specialty training in endodontics at theUniversity of Illinois-Chicago college of Dentistry. She also earned herMasters Degree in Oral Sciencesand did extensive research on the post-operative healing outcomes with prophylactic antibiotics following surgical endodontic treatment.
Ellie obtained her bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University, graduating with summa cum laude. A native of Huntingtown, Maryland, Ellie has been working at Prince Frederick Dental Center since she graduated Dental Hygiene school in 2016. She began working as a temporary hygienist, filling in when needed and happily started full time in May of 2018. Funnily enough, Ellies first day working as a hygienist was the same day as her graduation party.
Ellie has three siblings and is very close with her family. When purchasing her house, made sure to only move 15 minutes away. When she isnt working Ellie loves to travel and take road trips, especially the outdoors and hiking; however, her favorite hobby is taking care of two cats.
Dawn graduated from Baltimore City Community Colleges dental hygiene program in 1996 and started working part-time at Prince Frederick Dental Center that same year. Six short months later, Dawn was offered a full-time position and has been with PFDC for 25 years. Dawn thoroughly enjoys the offices relaxed yet professional atmosphere as it seems to calm patients and make them at ease.
Rhonda has been a practicing dental hygienist since 1979, thats over 40 years! She has been working at Prince Frederick Dental Center since 2001, she thoroughly enjoys the friendly yet professional atmosphere. Rhonda is a native of Maryland, having graduated from Allegany College in Cumberland, MD. In her spare time Rhonda loves to bake, read, and she is a lifelong Baltimore Orioles fan. Rhonda also has two sons, Ryan and Travis.
Mandy graduated from Allegany College of Maryland in 2010 where she earned her Associates Degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene and immediately began practicing at Prince Frederick Dental Center. She was born and raised in Calvert County and she enjoys working in her hometown. Mandy is a mother to three wonderful children, and even though it makes her life very busy, she loves it.
Sherri attended East Carolina University in North Carolina for two years before transferring to University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery where she obtained her bachelors degree in dental hygiene in May 2000. She then obtained her certification in administering local anesthesia. After sixteen years as a dental hygienist, Sherri absolutely loves her job and enjoys getting up everyday to make the smiles of Southern Maryland a little brighter.
Nicole joined the Prince Frederick Dental Center team in May 2013. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from Frostburg State University and her Dental Hygiene Degree from Allegany College of Maryland. Upon graduation, she was presented with the Outstanding Clinician Award given by the Upper Potomac Dental Hygienists Association.
Nicole is very dedicated to the oral health of her patients and she strives to make each dental visit efficient, relaxing, and comfortable while educating them on how to maintain healthy teeth and gums.
