If your treatment plan includes cosmetic dental restorations, Primo Smiles is home to a full aesthetic photo studio. Dr. Kerns can completely document cosmetic flaws and create a detailed mock-up of your treatment plan to ensure your satisfaction.

Every patient received a customized treatment plan to meet their goals along with beneficial education on how to maintain the results of treatment, or improve hygiene with at-home-care. Cosmetic treatment plans are commended with full pictures of your smile, impressions, and wax-up to help you visualize projected final results. Dr. Christopher Kerns is from Cynthiana, Kentucky, and received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Morehead State University. He then graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in Lexington, Kentucky. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, Academy of Laser Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, & the Bluegrass Dental Society

Dedicated to learning & providing his patients with the best care possible, he earned high honors and multiple scholarships to Morehead State and graduated as a consistent member of the Deans List and MSUs Biology Student of the Year in 2007. He was awarded a Presidents Scholarship and the Quintessence Award for Restorative Dentistry while attending the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Since graduation Dr. Kerns has consistently strived to utilize the most cutting edge, state-of-the-art technology in his office by placing a high value on continuing education and staying at the forefront of dentistry.

When he isnt learning about the latest treatment options for his patients, Dr. Kerns enjoys spending time with his wife & fellow graduate of Harrison County High School Casey, experiencing new adventures through food & travel.

I have been working in dentistry for 7 years, including 3 years as a Dental Lab Technician. I was happy to join my family and the Primo Smiles team in 2011. As the Patient Concierge, I coordinate patients services, including greeting patients with a warm and welcoming smilewhetherit be in our office for a visit or a friendly phone conversation.Along withvarious otheradministrative task, I use my Dental Lab skillsandassistwith many smile enhancing treatments, such as esthetic photos, discussing smile options & shade matching. I enjoy building relationships with our patients and truly getting to know them and their families.

I am a graduate of HCHS, where Dr. Kerns and I met in 1999. I also attended Morehead State University were I earned a degree in Fine Arts and enjoyed being a member of the 23 time UCA College National Championship Cheerleading squad. I love spending time with family and friends traveling, exercising and experiencing new adventures.

After a long career as a RealtorI began working in the dental field in 2007, and I joined my son-in-law, Dr. Kerns atPrimo Smilesin 2011. I was born in Ohio, grew up in Eastern Kentucky, and moved to Cynthiana in 1988 with my husband Luke and our daughter Casey. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking and hosting small gatherings with family & friends. I also love vacationing in tropical setting with my wonderful family. Surf & Sun!

Before joining the Primo Smiles team in 2018 Heather was looking for acareer that allows her to grow personally and professionally and in abusiness that is committed to serving the community. After reviewing ourfive start reviews and positive patient feedback proved that Primo Smileswas exactly what she was looking for! Heather enjoys building relationshipswith patients and her team and providing excellent customer service.

In her free time she loves spending time with her husband Brian & son Nickat dirt track racing and boating. Heather enjoys staying active and evendoes an occasional obstacle course race or white water rafting. Heatherworked at a veterinary clinic for 16 years prior to dentistry so you knowshe is an animal lover. She has a golden retriever named Bristol and a catnamed Scruff.

Summer is a native Kentuckian and has roots in all surrounding counties.She was born in Cynthiana, grew up in Carlisle and graduated from BourbonCounty High School. Before starting her career in dentistry in 2019 Summerhas 11 years experience as a Vet Tech and was ready to provide excellentcustomer and build relationships with human patients.

A Kentucky native, Mandy completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky and completed her hygiene degree at Big Sandy Community and Technical College. Mandy lives to educate people about their oral health and truly enjoys getting to know and develop relationships with her patients.

A day in the dental office can be stressful but because of the amazing teamwork of the Primo Smiles Dental team she loves coming to work. When she isnt at work she has her hands full on her cattle farm as well as home schooling her children. Mandy and her husband Nathan have four children, Lucy Kate, Walker, Clara and Eva Grace as well as a Golden Retriever Hank and horse named Loretta Lynn.

There are so many things I enjoy about working at Primo Smiles! For one, we truly care about our patients and the relationships we build here are unbelievable. I love working with all of our patients, most of whom I know from the community, and making sure that they feel comfortable and cared for is my main goal. I have worked in the field of dentistry for over 40 years and have been at Primo Smiles formally Licking Valley Dental for my entire career. I love the fact that we are always learning new technology and giving our patients the very best in dentistry.

I was born & raised in Harrison County. My husband Jerry and I have two wonderful children: Phillip & Bradley, who have blessed us withfive beautiful grandchildren: Abigail, Lexi, Eli, Noah & Asher. Outside of the office, my passion is spending time with my family and staying active in my church and community.
