Dr. Mirkal is a Board Certified Biological Dentist, Naturopathic Doctor, and a Mother and values health focused approach towards Dentistry. She was born and raised in Mumbai, India. She graduated with BDS degree from Dental school in India in 2002. Following Graduation, Dr. Mirkal practiced with an Oral surgeon for over five years mounting to her proficiency in Surgical Dentistry and Oral cancer screening.
After moving to the States in 2007, Dr. Mirkal graduated from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2012 with D.D.S degree. She was actively involved in Student Research Organization at Michigan. She served in public health services and helped the underserved communities of western Massachusetts Hampshire county for over two years, While she worked there she emphasized on prevention program for kids with sealants and create awareness for periodontal diseases in pregnant women, she proactively sent at least a handful suspecting lesions in her patients to the surgeon which later got diagnosed with Oral cancer. Dr Mirkal emphasizes on a thorough comprehensive examination as a first step toward better oral health. She later moved to private practice settings and has a well-rounded experience with patients from different walks of life.
Following the birth of her daughter Dr Mirkal set on a quest for safe, minimalistic options for health issues. This lead her introduction to Holistic/Biological Dentistry. Since then she has undergone rigorous training to become a Board Certified Biological Dentist. She is one of the very few dentists here in DFW who practice safe Biological Dentistry. In 2019, Dr Mirkal earned Board Certification in Naturopathic Medicine through the ANMA. She is also the recipient of the the prestigious High Achievement Award. Dr. Mirkal has spent several hours getting Continuing Education above and beyond state requirements. She is an active member of several coveted organizations. Dr Mirkal is SMART certified, Protection protocol certified and an environmental friendly Dentist and an Airway Mouth Doctor. She looks forward to helping you with an whole health perspective towards Dentistry.
In her spare time she enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family. They have been residents of North Dallas since 2014. Dr Mirkal is a member of holistic moms network, Like all moms she is reading labels, getting second opinions for any procedure, and seeking nutrition before medication. Dr. Mirkal feels she has found her lifes calling in the principles and practice of Biological Dentistry so her work is truly her passion.
Dr. Dhwani Shah is a general and cosmetic dentist in Dallas, TX. Her strong focus on dental education allows her and her patients to formulate treatment strategies together, providing the opportunity for them to be active participants in their dental care. Beyond that, she provides a warm and friendly atmosphere and experience for her patients and their families. Her practice philosophy centers on conservative, esthetic and comprehensive dentistry while using state-of-the-art technology and techniques.
A California native, Dr. Shah received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from University of the Pacific (UOP). She completed a Masters of Science (M.S) degree in Global Medicine from University of Southern California (USC). She then went on to get another Masters of Science (M.S) degree in Biotechnology from the esteemed Johns Hopkins University. She graduated with high honors in her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in Los Angeles. She completed a General Practice Residency at the Loma Linda Veterans Affairs Hospital, where she provided dental care for medically, physically and mentally challenged patients.
As an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM), Dr. Shah continues to participate in continuing education courses (500+ hours completed) and surrounds herself with some of the best dental practitioners in the field.
Dr. Leanne earned her designation in Naturopathic Medicine from Trinity School of Natural Health in 2017. Since then, she has continued her studies, training in clinical homeopathy and is certified through the Center for Education and Development of Homeopathy. Recently, she attended training at the Klinghardt Institute to broaden her studies in Immunology.
Dr. Leanne trained with the most caring, trustworthy team on the (EAV) Electroacupuncture according to Voll, studying Energy medicine. She specializes in Bioenergetic feedback in homeopathy. In optimizing health, prevention is the focus, so safe and healthy modalities are offered; lifestyle modifications, natural remedies, nutrition, detox and homeopathy.
Dr. Leannes passion lies in obtaining optimal wellness and restoring health. The state of Texas does not currently license Naturopathic Doctors. Thus, Leanne holds her licensure in Nevada and acts in Texas as a health and wellness consultant.

Dr. Minaxi Mirkal is a wonderful, caring person. Very pleasant, thorough and comprehensive consultation and examination. Great staff, too. I highly recommend Dr. Mirkal for anyone with dental mystery challenges, safer removal of silver (amalgam) fillings, former root canals and dental implants, etc.!

I'm between 2-3 stars for Prime Integrative. Rating 3 stars since the rest of the staff is kind, and the dentist is a true biological dentist. However, 4 out of the 5 appointments I've had in the past 2 months included the dentist being 15-30 minutes late. After waiting 50 MINUTES at my appointment today to be seen after arriving on time, I do not see myself returning as a patient. I had an appointment today to get my bite fixed from my previous filling appointment which should have been a quick 10 minute ordeal. Little did I know I would have to wait 50 minutes to be seen by the dentist. I understand running 15-20 minutes behind happens from time to time, but 50 minutes without any apology from the dentist is ridiculous and made it feel as though my time was not valued. As a warning to future patients, you'll likely find yourself sitting 15-30 minutes in the waiting room, and possibly additional time in the waiting chair before getting seen. @Prime Integrative, if you can't handle double bookings, then don't do it.

All the staff, as well as the doctor were wonderful! It had been a while since having my teeth cleaned and they did a great job. It was a very long visit overall, I did know that coming in though. I had a lot of questions and they took them all in and they were very patient. I loved how the doctor totally understood my overwhelm at some of my care plan and she just encouraged me to take it step by step. I'm very pleased with everything and everyone there!

The Doctor might be good, but she's overworked which compromises patient care. Maybe the 5 star reviews are from the past or from prior clients?... but as a new client, let me tell you that for those prices, I could have done some of my fillings and crows somewhere else. And yes, I was a patient in this practice, and for obvious reasons I won't leave my real name. Maybe for mercury extractions is worth visiting, but for everything else, your local dentist can do a better, more personalized and attentive job. As someone else commented before me, the doctor doesn't seem to have the time to explain things to you, she says: read the blog, read the books!, well, I am PAYING you to tell me! if reading a book will give me a 1 min answer, I would have invested 10 bucks instead rather than overpaying for "holistic" care (which I didn't receive).

Dr. Mirkal and her team were thorough and so awesome!!! The new patient exam was so thorough. Dr. Mirkal not only reviewed my dental issues, but also sent me to a myofunctional therapist and a naturopath for my health concerns. She explained in detail how my thyroid could affect my oral health. I got an airway assessment done and she reviewed my airway which no other dentist has ever done so far at my dental visits. I also got a cleaning done with Medina their hygienist. Medina was gentle and also showed me a plaque sample which I had never had done before. This place is a gem! If you are serious about your health, this is the place for you.

Dr. Mirkal is the highest quality dentist I've ever visited. With her guidance, specialty products, and skill- I feel like my teeth are finally healed and everything is put into place. I am not the easiest patient in the dentist chair... Dr. Mirkal was very kind, understanding, and supportive. I recommend this Dentist for the whole family. The approach is holistic and respectful. Dr. Mirkal stands behind her work and her first concern is healthy solutions for wellness and continued wellness. After everything she has done for me... I trust her completely.

First of all, huge thanks to Tricia, the office manager for fitting us in. My 3 week old had a tongue tie, so I scheduled an appointment for next week, but we were having such a hard time nursing, so i called and explained to Tricia who made space for us. Dr. Mirka first took the time to explain to me what was going to happen, and then performed her frenectomy. It took less than 10 minutes; she was able to release her tongue tie, lip tie and cheek tie (which we didn't even know about). She was super sweet with my baby and did a great job. Moreover, they sent us home with homeopathic meds and silver! None of the toxic stuff! Nursing improved immediately!

It's clear that the good doctor knows her stuff. I walked in and found directly, Weston A Price and Natasha Campbell-Mcbride books sitting on the shelf. The receptionist is a hoot and super friendly. And every one of the assistants and other employees I interacted with were absolutely some of the nicest folks I've ever dealt with, especially in dentistry. I pray this business continues to thrive as I'm sure it will. The knowledge that she shares and holistic approach focuses on your health overall and your dentistry as it is, symptomatic of an overarching cause. She seeks to find that cause and remedy your issues in this much more effective and proper way and I can't rate that high enough! Will be referring everyone I can to this practice!
