I love the relationships that develop with each of my patients. I enjoy hearing about a persons life, hobbies, accomplishments, and families. Because this is a family-centered practice, I care for patients of all ages. Its fun to get to know a child at their first visit, making sure their experience is a positive one. Its just as fulfilling to be caring for an older patient, restoring function and giving them the ability to smile comfortably and confidently.
Ive been involved in dentistry for over ten years, first in Dental Assisting, then in obtaining my Doctor of Dental surgery degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My work doesnt feel like work to me: I spend my days helping remarkable people improve their oral and overall health, along with their smiles. What could be better?
I knew early in life, through experience with family members in the dental field, that dentistry would be my profession of choice. Not only does it so closely align with my meticulous and caring nature, but it also utilizes the perfect combination of art and science to treat patients individual dental needs.
I studied at Hofstra University in New York and graduated with honors in 2000, receiving a Bachelors of Science in Biology with minor concentrations in Chemistry and Fine Arts. I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery license and graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 2004.
During my time in Chapel Hill, I fell in love with the area and decided to make North Carolina my permanent home. My parents and three brothers now reside in North Carolina as well. I enjoy painting, cooking, hiking, working out, traveling and spending quality time with my family.
I have over 15 years of experience as a general dentist, certified in Invisalign, and an active member of the American Dental Association and North Carolina Dental Society. I am thrilled to join Prime Family Dental and am available to address any dental concerns you may have!
I have been working in dentistry for over 20 years. I always make sure to treat our patients the way that I would want to be treated. I grew up in the mountains of Virginia and moved to North Carolina over 39 years ago. My partner and I love to travel in our RV on the back roads of our beautiful country with our two dogs, Ginger and Rosie!
My goal as a Dental Hygienist is to get patients excited about going to the dentist, especially here at Prime Family Dental! I treat each patient as a unique individual, so that we can design a treatment plan together that fits their needs. I grew up in New Jersey, but I am happy to call Raleigh my home! My fianc and I enjoy cooking, hiking, and playing with our French bulldog Jax!
I have been a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) for five years now and I truly enjoy working in the dental field! I love making patients feel at ease during any procedure here at Prime Family Dental. Outside of my career I enjoy spending time with my family and going out to eat with my friends. I cannot wait to share many laughs with all of you!

I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for both my undergraduate and Doctorate of Dental Surgery degrees. After graduation, I decided to further enhance my dental training by completing a General Practice Residency program at the Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Hampton, VA. There, I learned to better manage complex procedures, dental emergencies, and deliver excellent, patient-centered care. It was a joy and an honor to serve this countrys veterans during my year at the facility.
As an active member of local, state, and national dental societies, I take a variety of continuing education (CE) courses. This ensures I am current with new technology, procedures, and techniques in dentistry. I complete more than twice the yearly minimum requirement for CE as set by the State of North Carolina.
I enjoy volunteering at several Missions of Mercy (MoM) free dental clinics throughout the state. I started this tradition even before I became a dental student at UNC. I have been to Kill Devil Hills, Greensboro, Salisbury, and Weldon, to name just a few of the MoM clinic sites. You can see me in action in the video below during the Kill Devil Hills MoM clinic! Additionally, not only do I volunteer at Wake Smiles to help the less fortunate in our county with their dental care, I was also the Secretary of their Executive Board for several years.
In 2009, I traveled to Moldova, one of the poorest countries in Europe, as part of the UNC-Moldova Partnership Dental Mission. It was there I had the privilege to care for orphans and be part of an international mission, and that meant a lot to me as it was very eye-opening.
Outside the office, I love spending time with my friends and family, exploring the outdoors, playing with our dog Otto, and of course spending time with our little daughter! She definitely keeps us busy!

I had a great experience here! I came for a new patient appointment and everyone was very sweet snd took great care of me. My hygienist Laura was wonderful and easy to talk to, as was the dentist, Dr. S! They listened to me about my concerns and answered all my questions.

Dr Sabina is great! Wanda is a great Custer friendly person at the front desk who really understands and helps you understand your dental insurance! Hygienist staff is very professional! Glad I chose to move to this practice!

Everything about the experience was excellent. This was my first visit and as a new patient I can say that I'm quite impressed with everyone I encountered. From scheduling, to reminders, to the intake process and cleaning - everyone in the office was friendly and professional. Based on my first visit I highly recommend Prime Family Dental.

I have been to several dental facilities and never felt comfortable in sticking to one until I found Prime family. It is not just about having a smart doctor it's about how collaboratively and effectively the entire team works. I am very much impressed. Special thanks to the hygienist and the front desk staff. I was going to a dentist for 20+ years and I switched to this practice last year, what a difference, so glad I made this change. From the time I enter the office I feel welcome and very safe specially during this pandemic. Wanda kindly welcomes me and I love Michele, the hygienist, she is so pleasant, caring and considerate and always gives me a bunch of good tips to keep my teeth clean. And of course Dr. Sabine is very professional and knowledgeable and makes sure all my concerns are addressed.

I absolutely do not mind going to the dentist once I found them. From Wanda greeting you, to Michelle everyone was super kind! The office is always very clean, and my visits are never long. They are definitely concerned about what's best for you as a patient. I love that Michelle gave me tips to help with my oral care! I love this practice.

We have our entire family of 4 being checked here and we really had an awesome experience. Entire team is amazing and kids friendly. They really took care of my daughter while I was cleaning my teeth. Dr. Sabine is very professional and knowlegeable. Happy that we are in good hands.

I had a great experience! Everything was thoroughly explained and all my questions were answered. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Michelle did an awesome work with being my first visit and deep cleaning. I give it a 10 rating from a 0 being unclean to 10 being the most clean. I definitely will recommend this dental clinic!!!

The staff is very friendly and professional. I was pleasantly suprised at how thorough the exam was. The staff take their job seriously and want to educate in keeping your physical and oral health in good shape. I am excited to find a great dentist and would highly recommend to all ages.

Good place for dental work. Clean place and skilled dentists! As a customer know your dental benefits , what's covered and what's not , your individual maximum benefit already paid/considered by the insurance before each visit . I had this scenario when i realized after the visit that the individual max had exceeded and i had to pay 1500+ dollar out of pocket. I wish we had gotten an estimate before each visit/procedure rather than just at the first visit.
