Dr. Tatiana Lucas was born and raised in southern Russia where she earned her Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering with high honors. After becoming an engineer Dr. Lucas lived and worked in England for several years before moving to the United States to reunite with her family and to continue her studies to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist. She completed her studies in Biology at West Virginia State University and Mountain State University before being accepted into West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Dr. Lucas graduated magna cum laude and at the top of her class from West Virginia University School of Dentistry with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery, and received multiple awards recognizing her outstanding technical skills, passion for dentistry and excellence. She actively participates in postgraduate training which involves courses in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, such as training provided by L.D. Pankey Institute and The Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, both located in Florida. Dr. Lucas is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, of American Dental Association, and of Pennsylvania Dental Association.
Dr. Lucas is married and has two wonderful young children Sofia and Leo. Her family loves to spend time outdoors, skiing and camping. While living several years in West Virginia, Dr. Lucas and her family was spending a lot of time in Pennsylvania, she fell in love with Ohiopyle area and was planning for a long time to move into the region so her children can enjoy the beauty and a relaxed atmosphere of the area and its people.
Dr. Lucas wants to inspire and educate her patients on the importance of oral care, healthier and happier smiles! She provides her patients with the most appropriate and current dental therapies available.Her goals are to educate her patients about oral health, offer ethical individualized dental care, and create a relaxing atmosphere where her patients can feel comfortable during treatments. She believes that it is important to learn about and incorporate the latest advances in dentistry and to regularly participate in continuing education events to deliver to her patients great dental care.

The lady in the office was horrid. Essentially prime dental is only open from Monday- Thursday 9-5. My boyfriend got his new work schedule on Thursday nights. They are supposed to have him off on Mondays but they had him on the schedule. I called prime dental on Friday morning and left a message. I get a call a Monday morning to reschedule. They said they would call me back. 2 hr later i get a call. They said my boyfriend would have to give them his card number and pay a 50 dollar deposit on his next appointment because he didn't cancel in a 24 notice. I explained i left a message on Friday but they were closed. I said they are closed for 3 days and i couldn't give 24 he notice. They said that is there policy and i could speak to the manager and call me back yet again ( mind the office lady isn't being nice at all. Very rude.) I said that is ridiculous and i have never had to do that any where( i have many health issues and have seen well over 100 doctors in my life.) When i said no i don't want to schedule she preceded to say ok and hung up on me in a very angry manner. No one like her should be being working with the public.

This is not a great place, trying to get me for $30 dollars that my insurance didn't cover for an appointment to tell me I had to pay another $300 for new dental records to send for the company that gives out the invisible braces. Keep in mind I was in there for 15 minutes tops and they charge my insurance like $150 or something close to it already. I will say the dentist was nice but beyond that I have nothing else good to say.

The ladies here are so sweet! They ALWAYS remember my kids and their activities! They take time to sit and chat and actually take interest! The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Lucas is very honest with what is necessary work and what can wait and is not pushy about getting work done that isn't necessary. My 3 year old goes straight in excited to be there and always wants to go back!

Waited weeks for an appointment and then was told I couldn't get anything done that day, she could only do an exam and I'd have to come back to actually get work done.

Such a great staff, wonderful dentist and awesome cleaning. When my dentist retired, I was so worried about finding a new place where I would feel the same as I was used to for 39 years. Prime Dental is that place and I have been a patient for two years now and looking forward to being their patient for a very long time.

I went for a cleaning at the dentist that I visited for over ten years in July. They did a fine job, but I had concerns and was nervous about some work they wanted to do. I initially scheduled my appointment for a second opinion. The staff is awesome! Very caring, thorough, and professional. Dr. Lucas is amazing! She is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. She also explained things to me that I wish I would have known a long time ago. If you want a personalized dental experience with a kind and caring staff, this is definitely the place to go! Highly recommend!

I was looking for a new dentist because of the poor fillings I received at my previous one. I came across the awesome reviews for Prime Dental, so I decided to give it a try. My first appointment was this past Monday, and I was completely amazed at the kindness and professionalism of the staff. My dental hygienist, Kayla, explained everything to me from start to finish. She showed me the X Rays and explained potential issues with the fillings I had. I also learned various pros and cons between white and silver fillings. At my previous dentist, there was no time for conversation. Everything was always rushed. At Prime Dental, I felt like they cared about me and my health. Kayla was incredible. When Dr. Tatiana Lucas came in, I was, again, surprised at her willingness to explain everything and answer all questions I had. She seemed excited and passionate about her job, which you rarely see anymore. ANYWAY, I highly suggest going to Prime Dental if you are looking for a new dentist. You won't regret it! :-)

I had my first appointment at Prime dental today and It was such a pleasant experience!!! I have severe dental anxiety. I have NEVER been to a dentist office where EVERYONE takes the time to answer any questions you may have. The lady's at the desk were very welcoming. The dental hygienist was a doll! I didn't get a cleaning, I was just there for X-rays and an overlook for my future dental plan. She took extra time out of her schedule to answer some questions I had as I anxiously waited to see Dr. Lucas. Dr. Lucas was wonderful! I didn't feel like I was being rushed. She took her time and thoroughly explained the options I would have and a possible treatment plan. I have NEVER felt so comfortable and relaxed during and after a dentist appointment. I can't wait to start my treatment and get my smile back!

Kayla my hygienist did the best cleaning I have had in years and Dr. Lucas was awesome!
