Dr. Cardwell was born and raised here in Oregon. He likes to spend time outdoors, camping, fishing, hiking, and getting in as much cycling as possible. He and his wife Sophia have two small children. Sophia is an infectious diseases pharmacist with a local hospital system, so its always busy in the Cardwell household! They like to spend weekends exploring the outdoors and enjoying time with extended family in the area.

Rosa is a new addition to the practice, and is honored to be part of this team. Her goal is to represent the office in a professional and friendly matter, making sure that each patient that walks into the office feels welcomed and comfortable.
When Rosa is not in the office, she loves to cook, shop on Amazon, and travel when she can. She enjoys spending time with friends and family. Rosa's favorite college football team is the Oregon Ducks. She has a passion for volleyball, so she tries to play as much as she can. Oh - and her favorite tea is peppermint tea!
Trudy has been a dental assistant for 7 years, having graduated from PCC. The dental industry is something she's always been interested in and loves the aspect of helping people and working on teeth. Living in Newberg with her husband Eric and their cat, Archie, she loves exploring what Oregon has to offer outdoors including camping, running, and especially mountain biking.
Leann lives in Canby with her husband Steve and two cats, Baxter and Stella. In rain, snow, or sunshine she is out power walking, averaging 20 miles a week. She enjoys antiques, being a self-proclaimed 'foody' and reading. She loves dentistry because every day is a new and exciting adventure and you get to meet lots of different people.
Laural has been with Prime Dental Care for over three years and brings over two decades of experience as a leader in dentistry. As the practice manager, Laural oversees all day-to-day operations of the office to ensure a great experience for every patient and her team.
Im an Oregon native and absolutely love the PNW. In my spare time Im usually playing with my high energy rescue dog or occasionally golfing with my husband. We love spending time with our family and friends.
Originally from Southern Oregon, I have been a Portland area resident since 2013. I love living in the Pacific Northwest and can't imagine calling anywhere else home. Before attending hygiene school, I completed my Bachelor's in Biochemistry and bring a strong scientific background into my clinical practice. In my spare time, I love being in the kitchen and garden or traveling with my husband and two kids in our camper van. My favorite thing about being a hygienist is making meaningful health goals.
A native of Portland, Maria attended Mt. Hood Community College and has been practicing dental hygiene for 13 years. Aside from helping people improve their oral health, Maria loves learning from patients.
She loves educating and motivating her patients to maintain a healthy mouth and body. Her patients appreciate her thoroughness and gentle touch. Heather resides in Milwaukie, Oregon with her husband, son, and daughter.

Grace under pressure! What a lovely, professional, kind and knowledgeable practice. From Rosa, the staff Receptionist who welcomes you with a brilliant smile to Laurel, Practice Manager, who makes owing money and complicated insurance claims seem a simple matter of her daily challenge, one feels instantly comfortable and at home. THEN you meet the dental staff, Hygienists as talented as any specialty practice I've visited (I was the Executive Director of the California Society of Periodontists for 13 years). Assistants who make you relaxed by keeping you informed and comfortable---"please pass the pillow, oh, and a blanket for me?" AND THEN THERE'S DR. CARDWELL, one of the most thoughtful, skilled and professional dentists from whom I have had the privilege of care! Here's an example from today. I needed a very simple fix: a filling I'd knocked out with a drink bottle needed to be replaced. Easy and painless. However, while Dr. Cardwell completed his work he noticed a slight movement in my front teeth. "No cost! He cheerfully announces, but would you mind if I repaired the situation so one tooth isn't pressing so heavily on the other?" Wow not only is he REALLY concerned, he doesn't just act, he invites participation! The work took longer than the original filling appointment, but it was done and it made a difference. That's a great dentist and a dedicated one to boot!! Would I recommend this practice to others? Absolutely. Thanks to all. You make it fun to visit the dentist.

When I went, they 'froze' a tooth that they weren't even working on 'to see if it needed a root canal'. Afterwards they brought a waver for me to sign while I'm the chair. After he did the root canal on the tooth I went in for he said 'OK. All done'. Then I went on my way. Within a span of just a week- the tooth he 'froze' completely crumbled. shortly after the one he did the root canal on crumbled too. I now have more dental problems than when I went on to get them fixed. And while paying I was told by Laural she 'had to go to a place to get her daughter's molar worked on because they don't do them there.' However the tooth they 'froze' is a molar. Not sure what to do now. Can't afford to get them fixed. And im still in far worse pain than I started with. I wish I was more knowledgeable at that time to make them fix what they caused.

Consistently great experiences here, since Dr. Cardwell took over the practice. Everyone, from front staff to hygienists, to Dentist and Dental assistants ALL are caring and willing to help with anxieties (I had several) and concerns. Very competent and professional, yet friendly and caring too. I've been having tooth pain and sensitivity for many months, and have now had extensive work done to correct the problems. Every step of the way was done competently. I am so happy to now be able to eat and chew "normally" without pain. You don't know how much you can appreciate pain-free eating until you haven't had it for an extended period of time. All fixed now, and I'm ecstatic!

I'm in the process of having my teeth removed for dentures. My experience with the dentist and staff has been great. At other dentists, I have had experiences where tears rolled down my cheeks during the procedures. Not at Prime Dental. I highly recommend this dentistry.

I'm in the process of having my teeth removed for dentures. My experience with the dentist and staff has been great. At other dentists, I have had experiences where tears rolled down my cheeks during the procedures. Not at Prime Dental. I highly recommend this dentistry.

I have been going to the dentist for the past three weeks and have never had a more professional dentist and staff work on my teeth in all of my 82 years. The facility and equipment used is of the highest quality and their expertise is the best dental experience I have ever had. The expense of this work is more then fair and even offered to work with me on a payment plan .This is a very professional business and from my personal experiance with them I would recommend them in the Highest.

I would give them a 0 if there was a 0 on their I'm not sure how these people find that to be a good place to go When their prices are the same as my insurance dentiste charges and she charges a pretty penny plus they did 23X rays without any kind of protection no metal vast know nothing dainty charge me a dollar for cleaning and x-rays they never did a cleaning I happily paid the dollar and took my ridiculous statement out the door. I'd also like to add that the dentist was smart Alec nasty talking in a way of I can't believe you did this or I can't believe any Dennis would do that when I have gone to the same Dennis for years I just wanted to see what kind of a discount I get its 0
