Dr. Kavita Shah is a graduate of New York University. She worked in a private practice for 5 years before starting her own practice in 2009. Her state-of-the-art practice focuses on entire family and features a team of highly trained and caring staff to handle all your dental needs. She is committed to making your dental experience comfortable and satisfying as well as educational. She loves working with children and is involved in promoting dental health education in local area schools as she believes dental education at an early age is the best form of prevention.
Dr. Shah keeps abreast with the latest developments in her field through continuing education courses. She speaks multiple languages English, Spanish, Hindi, and Gujarati. She lives in greater Chicagoland area with her family.

Don't go here. First the place is dirty, the person taking my x-rays didn't know what she was doing and the dentist: well she said I needed a deep cleaning and had cavities. I also needed a root canal for an absess which she referred me to an Endodontist out of my network, so I ended up paying $1k for that. When I called back to Primary Dental to make another appointment for cleaning, etc., they acted like they had no idea who I was and they put me on hold for 30 min. That was the last straw. I decided to go somewhere else and requested my xrays which I had to ask them to forward numerous times. Finally when I went to a new dentist, they said I did not have any cavities and did not NEED a deep cleaning. BEWARE!! It seems like this dentist is running some insurance fraud.

I've been going to Primary Dental for about 4 years now and overall it's been a great experience! I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes past an appointment and they are very accommodating when it comes to scheduling. Dr. Palak Patel and her assistant Daisy just did a filling for me and it looks and feels great! If you're in the area, this is a perfect dentist for those 6 month checks!
