After his service, he chose to pursue a specialty certification in periodontics andbegan a residency in 1983 at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. After earning his specialist certification in periodontology in 1985, Dr. Price began private practice in Arizona.
Dr. Price offers conservative treatment options with a focus on helping patients keep their natural teeth for a lifetime. He is noted for his personal attention to patients. This is summarized below by a member of his practice:
'Dr. Price is an excellent, well-educated and friendly periodontist. He always provides patients with what he feels is the best treatment option for their health and comfort, but never pressures patients into active treatment. He is attentive, often personally contacting patients or their general dentists regarding treatment. He served as a Professor of Periodontics and Dental Implants at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. He also remains at the forefront of periodontal and dental implant technology through continual advanced education, earning well above the required number of continuing education credits.
Phoenix Magazine annually recognizes Top Dentists in the Phoenix area, as voted by metropolitan Phoenix area dentists. The Phoenix Magazine, August 2019 Issue, noted sixty-one dentists and specialists who had received at least 10 Top Dentist Honors. Dr. Price was recognized as having more than ten selections for the years 2003 to 2019. Dr. Price has treated many dentists, oral surgeons, endodontists, fellow periodontists, and their families.
