A native of Fayetteville, Dr. Rob Prewitt graduated from Terry Sanford Senior High School in 1974. He attended the University of Kentucky for the first 2 years of his undergraduate education (1974-1976). He was also a member of both the J.V. and Varsity basketball teams at Kentucky (ranked #2 NCAA 1974-1975 seasons). Dr. Prewitt transferred to UNC-Chapel Hill where he received his B.A. in Chemistry and also Phi Beta Kappa scholastic honors (1976-1978). He remained at UNC-Chapel Hill for dental school (1978-1982) and received his D.D.S. degree and Omicron Kappa Upsilon scholastic honors in 1982. After serving 3 years as a General Dentist in the Dental Corps of the U.S. Navy (1982-1985), stationed in San Diego, CA, Dr. Prewitt returned to UNC-Chapel Hill for specialty training in orthodontics (1985-1988). Dr. Prewitt completed his orthodontic residency in June of 1988 and was asked to stay on as part-time clinical assistant professor of the highly respected UNC-Orthodontic Department, which he did for 1 year while he was establishing his orthodontic practice here in Fayetteville. He now has been in orthodontic practice for almost 33 years, being loyal to his patients in creating one excellent smile at a time.

The staff in this orthodontist location are spectacularly kind. They always help you feel welcomed.

Sitting here since almost an hour. Why they give you appointments if they don't respect you appointment.

The wait is always extremely ridiculous. I saw three other patients walk out that came in after my brother. Bad customer service. Also very pricey for no reason. I reccomend stout and booth across the street.

The doctor and staff are head and shoulders above any other. BUT, timeliness is something very sub-par. My son has been going for a little over 3 years now and i have never waited less than an hour for a 10 minute check. Today is a perfect example. Appointment at 4, staff was done at 4:10, we didnt leave until 5:10 because we had to wait for the doctor. So, if you have grocery shopping to do, Harris Teeter is right across the street, have a cookie stock up on groceries, and venture back across the street. The wait won't be as excruciating.

I have contacted this office on nov 23rd as my daughters a patient of this office left message expecting a call on Monday..... Tuesday I'm still waiting on a response about pain my daughters having. I kept calling daily and they were always saying they would call me back today is Dec 4th and I get a call and email from Molly because on Thursday Nov 30 I finally sent a email to them asking why I should continue business with them IF they are going to ignore my daughters needs. I have waited and waited called numerous times offered call logs to show proof and no one cares, just excuses to be given of how they have to wait on this and that. My daughter now has a broken tooth thanks to their failure to do their part as a facility that's supposed to assist with ortho needs. Moving on with my life and my daughter

Two of our children have completed treatment with Dr. Prewitt and have beautiful smiles! We now have a third child seeing him. Our experience with Dr. Prewitt and his staff has been wonderful and we highly recommend them to anyone seeking orthodontic treatment.

Dr. Prewitt FILED THE ENAMEL OFF MY TEETH in 1998 swearing the enamel would in fact grow back! I learned the hard way enamel doesn't grow back! 33 years old about to lose some teeth he was "saving"... DON'T LET AN ORTHODONTIST FILE YOUR TEETH...enamel doesn't grow back!
