Led by Dr. Chase Prettyman, our office is committed to keeping our patients first. Dr. Prettyman values patient communication and devotes much of his time toward developing valued, personal relationships with you the patient all while making every treatment experience fun and enjoyable.
Wearing braces is a big responsibility. You have to be dedicated to proper daily cleaning and care. It also means you have to make some sacrifices. There are some foods that are simply not compatible with wearing braces especially candy. Thats why Dr. Ps Candy Shop* is such a hit with our patients.
On the day you get your braces removed youll be given a special container and a free pass to Dr. Ps Candy Shop. Whatever goodies you can fit in that container are yours to enjoy! Youve worked hard for that beautiful smile so theres nothing wrong with finally indulging in some of your favorite treats. Just as long as you promise to brush afterwards of course!

My son got braces put on by Prettyman Gastonia and had them for over a year. His gums ended up receding from the braces and they just decided to take them off, so we went ahead and switched orthodontists. Come to find out, he should have never had braces put on so early in the first place and they did more damage than good. Please do not go to this place!

I have had the chance to visit both the Gastonia location and the Monroe location. Both locations are great and the staff is nice and very personable. The orthodontist, Dr. Campbell is knowledgeable and listens to your concerns. He is very through in letting you know what can be offered and coming up with a plan that is conducive for your budget. While behind every great leader is a great team that helps to also drive results, I must also say the Assistants and front desk receptionist are great and knowledgeable. The assistants have always answered my questions as well as being patient and gentle with me; which is a great thing since I can be quite the big baby when it comes to my visits to the dental office lol.

Fantastic! When I got my braces on it hurt but the people were taking there time so it wouldn't hurt as much and when I got them off same thing good service.
