Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Had such a great experience here. Services were completed in a timely manner, doctor/staff explained the reasoning behind everything they did and helped me understand the meaning behind things they were saying, crowns are made in-house so I was able to get it taken care of in one go, etc. Great experience and am definitely coming back!

I got new health insurance and came to Preston Modern Dentistry to get a broken tooth pulled. It was getting infected over and over again and leaving me with a blown up cheek each time. When I first went in they told me it would be a $250 copay ,but , I don't have a copay on my dental plan. I made the appointment for the following week and talked to the dentist and told her that my doctor told me I had to get that tooth pulled out right away because the " infection was dangerous for my heart," and he wanted it out asap. They told me before that could happen they had to do a cleaning and that the bill for it would eat up most of the money that I had per year. That would be $2500.00 and no tooth extraction..till January 2023. That was more than a couple of months ago! They never got back in touch with me and I wasted at least 4 months total without getting the service that I needed so badly, and my broken tooth was very painful to eat with to boot! I called my health insurance company and told them what was going on and they sent me the phone number of another dentist that is close by my home. I made an appointment to see the new Dentist for three days later and went in to see her. The Dr did x-rays she told me that she would be able to pull my tooth that afternoon, and I would not need an oral surgeon like the Modern Dentists told me I needed for the extraction. She deadened my tooth and it was out within 5 minutes and scraped out all the infection , put in sutures to close up the wound, and sent me to my pharmacist with a prescription for antibiotics. The most important thing was that she listened to me and followed through with the much needed extraction. I will never go to Preston Modern Dentistry again . They gave me the run around and I don't appreciate it one bit. I wasted a few months waiting to have a simple service preformed which was done expertly in under a half hour by my new Dentist! I am so happy because I have found my forever dentist and she listened to my needs, was very efficient and knowledgeable , gentle and painless. I have given out two of her business cards to friends and am so pleased to leave Preston Modern Dentistry in my rear view mirror !

BE AWARE!!! Dentist provided services and while in chair shared what would be covered by insurance and what would not. During same service advised to finance uncovered services through SMILE finance company. I later received my coordination of benefit that showed claim submitted from provider was significantly less than financing amount and dentist was overpaid a total of $600. I have talked to three desk representatives that all agree $600 was due and to expect a check in the mail. Almost a year later I have not received a check nor has an overpayment been provided to Delta. When attempt to resolve issue in office today, was given a list of services issues that does not align with services submitted to Delta and IN FACT they are billing me an additional $100 for the same service. DO NOT RECOMMEND this provider due to shady billing practices and unfortunately see many other reviews with same concern. Sad

What a waste of an hour last Friday at this facility. The young female dentist was trying to have me pay $880 for deep cleaning and supposedly bleeding gums. She stated I had no cavities but needed a deep cleaning. I felt she was only trying to make money off of me even with using my insurance it was a ridiculously over priced. I walked out and got a 2nd opinion at another facility and the dentist explained I did not need any deep cleaning and that I had very good dental hygiene and no cavities for being 45 yrs old. Do not waste your time and money at this location. I should have read the reviews first!

I was disappointed as staff did not communicate with each other for my treatment. The Dental assistant, Dentist and Whoever takes payment were not on the same page at all. It also took an excessive amount of time to follow up with me (Multiple times). I understand my case was complicated and needed consulting with a specialist but I was there for a little over two hours and nothing got done except for payment (paid in full). I went in for a temporary fix to a broken tooth, as this was an emergency appointment. I clearly explained to the dentist that I needed this as my tooth is snagging on the inside of my mouth. Even after the new treatment plan was explained, the dentist did not provide a fix to the problem at hand. This was a waste of time and additional suffering due to this. I am new to the Dallas area and I definitely wont be referring this office.

I came and had a root canal and got charged for total service. And when it came time to have my permanent cap placed. The dentist refused to complete the service because I had concerns as to why I had been coming in once month. And every time she found new issues. Since the 5 months I have had 2 crowns, one filing and now gum issues; plus root canal. Poor management is handling problems. Can't ever get return callback. Dentist is incapable of speaking to patients when you do have a concern. I have never had a dentist who shys away from talking with her patients. Staff is nice. But to have all the issues come up when I'm coming in monthly is ridiculous and unheard of in my entire life. And don't ever have them put you on the Smile generation dental card. It's flawed as well with crazy high interest that I didn't notice. And if you contact them they redirect you to office. Like Ferris wheel going round and round without stopping.

Went in for a simple check up and was told I needed braces, gum grafting, laser bacteria removal etc. went to another dentist the next day and was told my teeth were in perfect health. They just want to talk you into spending as much as possible. Having to deal with insurance because they even overcharged my insurance above the agreed upon price between them and the insurance company. Horrible experience and can only advice avoiding like the plague.

Read the one star reviews and RUN. I wasted two hours of my life trying to get a routine cleaning only to be told I needed an $1800 deep cleaning (oh, but it's only $800 if you sign up for patient care). I've never had a cavity in my life and purposely don't sign up for dental insurance because the cost of two cleanings a year is less than the cost of dental insurance. Even if I needed a "deep cleaning," how on earth is a deep cleaning $1800? My brother got a root canal last month without insurance (obviously elsewhere) for less than that. I really hope people don't agree to pay these exorbitant prices for "specialized" cleanings. Most of the staff was kind, but their billing/up-selling practices are obviously predatory and unethical.

If you like good customer service from the front desk ( meaning they don't come off as cold, distant, and greedy, then rush you when you are filling out paperwork) don't go here. If you want a dentist who is kind and caring and doesn't talk at the speed of light. ( the dentist wouldn't let me leave to use the restroom or even get a chance to tell her that's what I was trying to do). She told me I Had to stay in the room. HAD?! Like I can't use the bathroom. Then I heard her and the office staff talking and complaining about other people who were there right in front of me like it was no big deal that those were customers that came in to get help with their teeth. What the heck is wrong with this place. I told the dentist I was referred by a friend she asked who. When I told her she was so rude about it. She was like ohhh yeahhh them. How is this place in business? Care about your customers! That's what is needed here.

Came in for a teeth cleaning and all of a sudden I need my wisdom teeth removed, a specialized crown on one of my teeth, and a special kind of three step cleaning. Dr. Leah was not empathetic to how worried I was about the cost. I was clearly upset and she continued to tell me that I needed, what felt like, unnecessary procedures. I didn't even get my teeth cleaned. They took a bunch of pictures and gave me my hypothetical bill. Felt super predatory and I will be looking for a different dentist.

After three weeks waiting for my appointment they refused to give me paperwork they only allowed information through a computer. Older people for them don't deserve to be take care if we don't know how to handle a computer. The Man in front desk super rude and unwilling to help.

Wow, the staff is amazing. I had my wisdom teeth extracted literally this morning and I feel amazing (not the meds talking haha) . They made me feel comfortable and sent follow up text messages letting me know what I needed to do next. This is my permanent home for sure. Thanks team !

Dr. Nechamkin and her team are amazing! I haven't been to the dentist in nearly three years so I was very nervous for my appointment, but everybody was so nice and patient with me I am excited to have found a great dentist. Dr. Nechamkin was really great about explaining the issues I had and the things that needed to be done to fix them, and she was really the first dentist I've had to do this so I really appreciated that. The front desk staff are also amazing. There were some issues with my insurance and they were all so kind and helpful through the process.
