Dr. Marcia Preston has been providing quality dental care to the Republic community for 15 years. She graduated with distinction and many honors from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2002. After graduation, she returned to her hometown and established Preston Family Dental.
Dr. Preston enjoys serving her community by providing dental care for the children affiliated with Care to Learn, being a corporate sponsor for the Republic Booster Club, sponsoring events for the Republic Parks and Recreation, assisting People Helping People through the Backpack program, and adopting children for the holidays. She also served as a board member for the Republic Community Foundation for six years. She has been acknowledged by her peers for the last nine years by being voted one of 417 Land 's 'Top Dentist.'
Dr. Preston has been married to her husband, Joe, for 22 years. They have a daughter who is in college and a son who is a student in the Republic School District. She also shares her home with several rescue dogs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, making stained glass with antique glassware, antiquing, trail riding and camping with her horses, and time with all of her animals. Dr. Preston has a farm outside of Republic where she has a variety of animals, including two miniature ponies (the one named Benny is blind), horses, a donkey, a miniature donkey, cows, goats, chickens, barn cats, and a pot-bellied pig named Arnold. Her farm is often referred to as a petting zoo!
Our staff at Preston Family Dental is friendly, knowledgeable, patient and very thorough. We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
Taylor joined the Preston Family Dental team in October 2014. She is a hometown Republic graduate. She is usually the first voice you hear when calling our office and the first smiling face you see as you come in our door. Taylor loves to see new babies come in and getting to visit with patients in the waiting room. When not at the office, she loves all things country, from hiking and kayaking to concerts and hanging out at the lake. Taylor has a perfect Golden Retriever named Savanna that is always with her.
Gina joined the Preston Family Dental team in October 2012 as the Insurance Coordinator. She verifies the patients dental benefits and files insurance claims. She also works directly with patients to answer any questions they may have regarding their dental benefits. Outside of the dental office, Gina spends her time personal training, teaching fitness classes, volunteering with a local rescue shelter, and spending time with her son, Austin, and fianc, Buddy. In her free time, she enjoys going on diving trips with her family, running, biking, and paddle boarding with her girlfriends, spending time at the lake, gardening, and taking care of her animals.
Stacey started with Preston Family Dental two weeks after we opened in November 2002! She completed her Basic Skills Mastery Examination in March 2004 as well as the courses necessary to become an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in Fixed and Removable Prosthetics and Placement of Restorative Materials. Stacey is married to Justin, and they have two kids, Kaitlyn and Carter; and two dogs, Rooney and Zoe. They spend a lot of their time at their kids' sporting events, but during downtime, they enjoy golfing and being around family and friends.
Peggy joined Preston Family Dental in June 2004. She has a total of 27 years of dental assisting experience. Once she began working for Preston Family Dental, she completed her Basic Skills Mastery Examination and the courses necessary to become an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in Fixed and Removable Prosthetics and Placement of Restorative Materials. She relocated here from Chanute, Kansas with her husband, Roger. During their 35 years of marriage, they have raised two daughters and now have three grandchildren. Peggy enjoys camping, hiking, playing golf, riding four wheelers, antiquing and spending time with her friends and family. When given the opportunity, she loves to travel to visit lighthouses and covered bridges.
Autumn joined Preston Family Dental in June 2011. She earned her license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist after completing OTC's Dental Hygiene Program with honors. Autumn led her class as President and organized the senior project that entailed partnering with Dickerson Park Zoo to provide oral prophylaxes to resident endangered wolves. She continued her relationship with OTC by serving as a RDH representative on the Dental Programs Advisory Board. Autumn and her husband, Jason, are proud parents of two fur babies, Olive and Oakley. Aside from her profession, she enjoys traveling, shopping, beach vacations, the lake, target practice, hiking and spending time with family. Autumn states the bonds she has formed with the patients and staff at Preston Family Dental make it easy to come to work every day.

Quick to get my husband in to be seen. Everyone from the front desk to the dentist were extremely friendly and professional, the cost was affordable, there wasn't a lot of waiting around to be called back or for the dentist etc. The office was nice and clean. We were throughly impressed and would highly recommend them.

I was in extreme pain and they got me in right then and I didn't have to wait long in the room b4 the Dr came in it was the shortest time I have ever waited in any Dr office from waiting room to actually Dr getting ther very affordable and the staff was great

My kiddos saw them today... was quoted over the phone 209 for each kid for what needed to be done. I know it is a quote and can go up at little but not 100.00. So if you are on a budget and are expecting to spend what is quoted go somewhere else or expect much more. And I was not told before the preformed the extra things before hand just 100 dollar surprise when I go to check out.

The staff is amazing and always remembers me and my whole family. They always explain all the procedures and are kind and compassionate with their care. Dr Preston is amazing! My family and I love Preston Family Dental! They are always so nice and work with my 2 little boys to make sure they feel comfortable and have a great experience. The office/rooms are impeccably clean and has been recently remodeled. The staff is professional while still being kind and out going. If you're looking for a dentist, definitely check this place out.

My family and I love Preston Family Dental! They are always so nice and work with my 2 little boys to make sure they feel comfortable and have a great experience. The office/rooms are impeccably clean and has been recently remodeled. The staff is professional while still being kind and out going. If you're looking for a dentist, definitely check this place out.

Terrible customer service and suspicious billing practices is the first thing I would like to say! My husband and kids went to Preston Dental first time after looking for a dentist in our area. When he called to set up an appointment for cleaning and exam he asked how much it would cost for this service and was told by the girl that our insurance covers at 100 percent for preventative care and maintenance. Then we received a bill for the appointments in January 2017, the appointments were in October 2016 any way the bill was for over $100 dollars plus a late fee! I called the office and spoke to the appointment girl who stated that they can only go by what insurance companies pay them and that they can only give an estimate of what an insurance company may pay for a service. That was never told to my husband at the time the appointment was made and he was assured after asking more than once that it was covered at 100 percent! What a wonderful way to get customers Preston Dental Clinic way to go! I only gave them one star because it was the only way I could post my review, but we will never go there again and will always give a 100 percent thumbs down!
