Our staff of dental professionals would love for you to come visit and tour our office. We have a combined experience in pediatric dentistry of over 100 years. This experience allows us to treat all aspects of your childs dental needs while making you and your childs experience positive. Our office philosophy is built on trust and communication and we feel that an actively involved parent is very important in our effort to provide excellent dental care. As parents, Dr. Brooks and Dr. Chandak understand the stresses of parenthood and strive to accommodate you to make your childs dental visit fun, educational, and rewarding.
A native of North Carolina, Dr. Brooks was born and raised in the city of Kinston. He completed his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University, graduating Cum Laude in 1990 before attending the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill. Upon graduation of dental school in 1994, Dr. Brooks became a commissioned officer in the United States Navy Dental Corps. During his four years of military service at Camp Pendleton, California and the Naval Weapons Station in Charleston, South Carolina, Dr. Brooks was awarded two distinguished service medals: The Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.
After his decorated military service, Dr. Brooks continued his education by completing a residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Brooks moved to Cary in 2000 and entered private practice in pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Chandak completed her undergraduate education at Michigan State University. Sticking with the Big 10, she attended the University of Iowa for dental school and the University of Minnesota for residency training in pediatrics. In 2007, Dr. Chandak achieved diplomat status as a board certified dentist with the ABPD. In addition to traditional methods of treatment, she offers inoffice oral sedation or general anesthesia at Wake Medical Center. Dr. Chandak keeps up with her sedation credentials by attending the latest sedation courses and keeping her PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification current. At home, she enjoys spending time with her daughters. Please ask to schedule with Dr. Chandak if you think oral sedation may be needed for the treatment of your child.

We took our 3-year-old son here for his first dentist appointment and we were impressed! Our son has some special needs, so we were pretty nervous. The office did such a great job with him and we felt at ease. We are definitely going back!

We love Dr Brooks and the staff at Preston Corners! They are always caring and compassionate. They are great with young children and explain dental procedures in a way kids can comprehend. Highly recommend!

Excellent service as always. We were out of state for 3 years and I never could find a doctor as good as dr.Brooks for my children. When we returned to Cary one of the first things was to see dr.Brooks. He is the best. The only thing I'd prefer to improve - text messages. No need to ask for a review each time. There is no such an option on Google to leave it multiple times. Also I never requested the instructions about what to do with flu symptoms, please don't text me those. I come here for dental service only.

We had such a great experience at Preston Corners! Everyone made sure our 2 year old felt comfortable and enjoyed her first dental appointment. From the personalized welcome sign at the front door and the play kitchen and Nintendo consoles in the waiting area to the toys and coloring book in the exam room - we knew we chose the right place.

Eveyone is amazing and caring! Both Dr. Brooks and Dr. Chanadal seeing my 12 years old and 11 years old since they were little. They are an amazing team, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

We love it here! This was our second visit, and we've now met both Dr. Chandak and Dr. Brooks. Both were so wonderful with our toddler and had very helpful feedback. And they were very patient with her when she threw a little toddler tantrum. Highly recommend!

The best practice! Everyone from check in to check out is top notch and nice. They show movies overhead for the patients and the atmosphere is so happy with a painted undersea mural throughout. They are prompt and do wonderful work! My son wants his appointment card to look forward to his next visit!

I have heard much about this place that they are the best in Pedriyatic Dentistry in North Carolina, so I tried to reach them to schedule appointments for my daughter, yes they do take the phone call in 1-2 ring and their first question is which insurance program I have, I said my daughter have "Medicaid", the second word from that side is we don't take Medicaid. This place was recommended by my friend, he also told me that both the Doctors are best and they do take Medicaid and their suggestions for the parents regarding child dental health were excellent too ( approx 1-2 years ago), but now we are not getting any of their services because we hold Medicaid. I think they are done with lower income group for whatever reason they have, so if you're among lower income group or your child had Medicaid for any other reasons do-not waste your time by calling them or try to reach them physically.

Bethany was great with my daughter. She engaged her in conversation and made her feel comfortable, even through the discomfort. Bethany did a great job cleaning my daughter's teeth. Dr. Chandak is always kind and informative. She is very friendly and easy to talk to.

Decided to do my own research and find a Pediatric Dentist office for my little one and I am impressed! The original call was about 15 minutes and the front desk receptionist was more than patient as she explained their insurance policies and also broke down the process into layman's terms for Me to understand (and save a few $100s paying out of pocket). The day of my little one's appointment I was blown away from the very first step into the office. The overall experience was like no other!! I wish my Dentist office was this cool and full of supportive staff growing up. So happy I found this office. Dr. Chandak was soooo patient with my busy body all of the other amenities are additional perks. We're definitely committed! EDIT: Circling back to my review to add how big of a smile this office put on my whole family's face with their handwritten card and additional stickers my little one had his eyes on. Absolutely sold and will absolutely be taking all of my little ones to this location in the future!!

Love the dentists and hygienists here and have been going to them for a couple of decades now. Only thing is my daughter went by herself the other day and when she checked out Megan didn't have a very pleasant demeanor, and my daughter left feeling that she wasn't treated very well. Just wanted to let you know because this is a great practice and we wish you continued success.

Preston Pediatric Dentistry is top notch. Always a positive experience for my kids now teens Dr. Brooks so thorough and knowledgeable and staff is always upbeat willing to help and make my kids experience a great one!!! From the initial front desk to the ladies who clean teeth to the wonderful billing Denise it's a great set up. Teeth are so important for life I'm glad my kids are in the hands of this fine office and Dr. Brooks thank you so much

Everyone at Preston Corners Pediatric Dentistry is amazing. I have a child who has a lot of anxiety going to the dentist and they eased all of those fears on his first visit. Also, one of my children had to have cavities filled and they made sure she knew what was going on and checked in with her throughout the procedure to make sure she was OK. We have had the best experience there!
