In 1988, Dr. Madhav left her home in Zambia to pursue her dental education in Oklahoma. She completed her undergraduate degree at South Western Oklahoma State University, and then enrolled at the Oklahoma University College of Dentistry.
She completed her studies in 1994 and was then accepted into the highly selective Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program. In the course of one demanding year she had the opportunity to treat patients with diverse needs, gaining valuable clinical experience that would otherwise have taken many years to accomplish.
Following the completion of her AEGD residency, Dr. Madhav joined a private practice in Oklahoma. In May of 2000, she finally opened her Plano practice, where she has since offered state-of-the-art care with a growing patient base.
Dr. Terrel R Myers graduated from the University of Mo-Kansas City School of Dentistry. He has had extensive training in Full Mouth Rehabilitation from the Pankey Institute of Advanced Dental Education in Miami, FL, and extensive training in Occlusion from Dr. Peter Dawson in St. Petersburg, FL. His practice has been limited to Cosmetic, Restorative, and Implant Dentistry for more than 30 years. He is a member of the ADA, Dallas County Dental Society, Dallas Study Club, which has its emphasis on advanced dentistry and inter-disciplinary treatment planning, and Dallas Implant Guild, which involves study & placement of dental implants on live patients. He has been listed in DMag for Best Cosmetic Dentist and Best General Dentist for the past several years.
Zara-Leigh was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand; a place where her love of education and nature first developed. She graduated college in 1987 with a Business Degree and then backpacked through Europe to take in as many new experiences as possible. She finally settled in a place closer to here, but with many similarities to Europe: Alberta, Canada. She left Canada to attend dental hygiene school in Amarillo, Texas, where she met her wonderful husband, Dan.
Upon arriving in Dallas, she worked in dental hygiene but her passion to learn forced her to seek additional training to become an expert in periodontal therapy. She balances her career with being a mom to four amazing children. Zara-Leigh and Dan enjoy spending time with their children and activities including camping, bicycling, swimming, movies, crafts and eating out.
Jennifer has been a dental hygienist for more than 30 years. At age 11, she was inspired by her orthodontist and decided to become a dental hygienist. She is pleased she pursued this career as it has been very rewarding helping patients improve their oral and overall health.
Originally from Ohio, she attended West Virginia University where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene. In addition to teaching dental hygiene for eight years, she helped coordinate a research study on dental implants at The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Jennifer and her husband moved to Texas in 2016. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, attending concerts and live theater shows. She is an avid sports fan and a member of The Junior League of Collin County.
Lora grew up in the beautiful Hill Country of Boerne, TX with five siblings. In 1982, she graduated from the dental hygiene program at the University Health Science Center in San Antonio. She joined our team as a dental hygienist in 2009 but has more than 39 years of experience in dentistry. When shes not helping patients create healthier smiles she enjoys walking, hiking, and biking with her husband. She also enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
Deborah is a 1998 TWU graduate with a BS in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys her career as a dental hygienist and considers all her of patients as family. Deborah is genuinely compassionate in creating a comfortable and positive hygiene experience for every patient. In her spare time, she loves hanging out with her family, working out, gardening, lake time and traveling. She and her husband, Scott, keep their calendars full with their boys activities of competitive fishing, hunting and tennis; Hunter (15) & Nathan (12).
Carla is our Treatment Coordinator and Accounts Manager. She has been in the dental field since 1991; married for 25 years with two children, she lives in Garland. Carla loves to travel with her family and has visited several exotic destinations as well as many US cities. She is the number 1 fan at her kids soccer and volleyball games and your number 1 advocate in helping patients get the dentistry they deserve. She has many certifications to aid the flow of the office including: OSHA certification, HIPPA certification, X-ray certification, continuing education on Communications Mastery, Insurance Adjustments, and Leadership in Dentistry.
Jasmine was born and raised here in Dallas, Tx. She has been in the dental field for 8 years and has built a career on helping patients become educated about their overall oral health. She is a Patient Care Coordinator, as well as, a Registered Dental Assistant. She was a Treatment Coordinator in periodontics for 4 years where her greatest joy was seeing how thrilled patients were after their smile transformations.
On her free time, she loves to attend sports events/games with her husband. She is a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys! The rest of her time, she is either reading a good hardcover book, traveling, participating in outdoor activities with her dogs, swimming, and being a devoted baseball Aunt!
Deepak is both our offices business manager and Dr. Madhavs husband. Every day, he works toward creating a professional atmosphere where we can all deliver exceptional care. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, he came to the states in 1993 to attend grad school at Syracuse University. After completing his studies, he fell in love with Plano, settling here in 1995. He spends most of his time researching new developments in customer service so we can bring them into our office. Away from the office, he enjoys reading.

Again I'm sharing my experience with everyone regarding such a wonderful dentist office. Each visit is fulfilled with exceptional service from Dr. Madhav and her very friendly and professional staff. As we all know during this pandemic safety & cleanliness is at high priority. Preston Bend Dental is above and beyond. Soon as you walk in there is hand sanitizer, gloves & face mask available for all visitors and each dentist is wearing a face shield for your protection. Also, air purifiers are placed throughout the entire dentist office. I HIGHLY recommend Preston Bend Dental as your dental care provider. Thanks to the entire staff for such a GREAT job :-), see you all in 6 months!

As always, I had a great experience at Preston Bend Dental!! Dr Madhav, Shannon, Carly and the whole staff- they go out of their way to make you comfortable and ensure you have a painless experience!! I would highly encourage anyone who thinks they don't like going to the dentist, to come here!! Teeth are so important!! This is the very best dental facility I have ever been to, and I've been coming here for about 7 years now. The service and care has never wavered!! They truly go above and beyond - every single person I've met there, over the years, has been exceptional.

Dr. Myers is experienced, professional, analytical, meticulous, patient, serious, personable, humble, top of his profession and highly regarded by his peers. I consider myself very lucky to have found him after interviewed 5 different high profile dentist in the DFW area to correct the mistakes one dentist made that caused three of my teeth to crack/split that require major work. Even just for routine dental work, I highly recommend him.

Great personal care & treatment by Dr Madhav & team. The staff is so pleasant to work with and have always accommodated my request for a quick appointment no matter how busy their schedule is.
