Dr. Fang received both BS and DDS degrees at UCLA. He performed general dentistry in a private office setting for a year before pursuing specialty training in Endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Fang was an instructor at the School's Microscope Training Center, where he instructed participants in the uses microsurgical techniques. In year 2000, Dr. Fang traveled to University of Graz, School of Medicine, Austria to receive intensive residency training in root-end surgeries and surgical dental implants from the top Austrian physicians and dentists.
Dr. Fang currently teaches at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry as an assistant professor. Dr. Fang is a board certified endodontist by the American Board of Endodontics. At home he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. Dr. Fang's hobbies are cooking, tennis, hiking, skiing, and traveling around the world with dental mission teams.
