Dr. Makagon grew up in the Seattle area and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She briefly left her beloved Pacific Northwest to attend the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Makagon was accepted into Boston Universitys highly competitive postgraduate program (Advanced Education in General Dentistry), where she gained extensive experience in all disciplines of dentistry and dental practice. Dr. Makagon worked in Boston for several years before relocating back to the Seattle area, where she continued to hone her skills as an associate. Having practiced dentistry for the better part of a decade, she founded Prestige Dental a practice that is modeled after her own principles ofcareful attention to detail and deep personal respect.
Dr. Makagon is committed to continuing education as a means of staying current with the latest treatment options and technologies. She has had extensive continuing education in cosmetic dentistry, implant restoration, occlusion, comprehensive restorative care (crowns, bridges, and dentures), extractions and Invisalign. Dr. Makagon is certified to provide oral sedation to ensure a stress-free and enjoyable dental experience for her patients.
Dr. Makagon is actively involved with the Seattle King County Dental Society, the Washington State Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. She takes great pride in being a part of the vibrant and acutely skilled dental community in the Seattle area.
