When I first met Dr. Karamyan, I had the typical viewpoint of a dentist visit. I hated going to the dentist. From the time I was a child, when I first learned to be afraid of the dentist, I have had a hard time dragging myself to the dentist. All that changed when I first met Dr. Karamyan. I had waited too long to have a tooth worked on and had to have it extracted. Dr. Karamyan handled it as smoothly as I could possibly imagine it could be done. There was almost no pain or discomfort and it healed right away. This really helped me to let go of my childhood conceptions that a dentist is always a painful place to visit. With Dr Karamyans incredible light touch approach to dentistry, I found myself much more willing to go to the dentist and take good care of my teeth. Since that time 6 years ago, when I was first worked on by Dr. Karamyan, I have lost no other teeth and go to the dentist regularly. Dr. Karamyan has been practicing since he finished his studies at UCLA in 2002 and completing all the requirements of Dental Board of California. While performing the full scope of general dentistry, he has continued his post graduate studies in such specialties as implant dentistry, veneers, and cosmetic dentistry.

I've been visiting Presidio Dental for about four years. They are HONEST DENTISTS! They have never tried to do unnecessary work. I previously had dentists and have heard of so many horror stories from friends who have had dentists that try to tell you that you have cavities when you don't. A good dentist is like a good mechanic, you never want to leave. PLUS the owner of this company, the head dentist, is on top of current technology and can provide a crown on the same visit! You do not need to visit multiple times and have a temporary crown put in. I highly recommend this group.

I tried to give Presidio Dental the benefit of the doubt but their customer service was horrible and when i visited their office they were very disorganized. Overall a terrible experience and was overcharged for the services I had done. Will not be returning.

Sad to have to write this really. The people here are lovely, and they have some very modern equipment. I came here not having insurance and they were very accommodating, offering me their discounted deal which I thought was very kind. I was told I needed work done on 3 teeth, which sounded like a lot, but trusting the doctor I went ahead and he did it, to the cost of I think about $1,700 a tooth. So you can imagine my dismay when 12 months later, I'm having a checkup at my new dentist, now under an insurance plan, and he shows me all 3 teeth have gaps between the crown/ filling and the tooth, and it's lead to cavities on all 3 - meaning all 3 need to be replaced... I've spent the last few months going through having the crowns/fillings broken off (not fun), the cavity worked on, and then a new crown being applied. Each tooth again I have to pay for of course. Now the really sad part of this, was how Presidio Dental dealt with it, or didn't really. This new dentist said normally someone would stand by their work, and if there was a problem like this, fix it. So I reached out to the dental office, and they initially replied saying they would show the doctor what I'd said and get back to me. A while later after hearing nothing, I followed up, and got no reply this time. So I've had to go ahead and get the work done, pay for it all once more, and still nothing. I've now written again, but heard nothing, and don't expect to anymore (unless they read this review perhaps). So I'm beginning to feel like I'm not the first person to come back to them, if they are just ignoring my emails. Summarizing, really nice people, really nice equipment, but I can't argue with the fact that all the work had to be re-done with 12 months at great cost. I could get it as a fluke if it was just one tooth, but all three?... Then there was no accountability from the dental office - so I'm sorry to say, I encourage you to go elsewhere.

I went to Dr. Kenneth Karamyan for the first time about 3 years ago for Invisalign. He was very patient, informative and educational in setting my expectations and helping me understand what would happen over the next 18-24 months. He stays on top of the latest and greatest and has the top of the line equipment to monitor and track your progress. I followed the process for about 12 months and saw phenomenal improvement... but then I got lazy and stopped following the program. As a result, I stupidly delayed my teeth alignment. I finally resumed again about 3 months ago and Dr. Karamyan was, again, so patient in getting me back on track and now I'm adhering to the rules. I have started to see the improvement that I wanted so badly. I love my smile now but still have a few more months to finish. This time I'll listen and follow the rules.

While on vacation, I had a minor emergency and needed some help. This place was close to my stay and had good reviews. Im glad I went in here. First of all, the front desk was welcoming. Dr. Ken was able to help me out and point me in the right direction. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting or residing in San Francisco.

Dr. Karamyan is knowledgeable and professional. I knew the first time I met him. He did a complete evaluation on what is the most important work that needs to be done. His office staff is also very accommodating.

They are friendly, no doubt about that. The consultation for invisalign was $50 and the quote they offered was $7,000, with insurance $5,000. I never went back because I have found a better alternative - "Smile Direct Club." Honestly, do you really want to pay a high price just to have someone put the invisalign in your mouth when that's something you can easily do on your own. Smile Direct Club starting price is just $1,850. They offer the at-home impression kit for $95. When treatment is finish, retainers are only $99. Best of yet, my insurance covers 75% of the cost. Woohoo to that!

Dr. K has been my dentist for the last three years, and I have been incredibly happy with the treatments and service he and his team provide. It is a relaxed and comfortable environment, and I trust his recommendations on treatments to perform. I really like the live video he can provide to show you inside your mouth, and what is going on. I've also had to have a crown replaced and they were able to do everything same day. Makes it all so much more efficient. Highly recommend Dr. K and his team.

Love Dr. K and his staff. Cozy, well appointed office (beautiful murals to look at while you have your procedures), and cutting edge tech (I got to watch Dr. K create a custom filling for me on CAD software to be 3D printed in-office!). Getting Invisalign now. Thanks Dr. K!
